Happy Birthday Forum! It's actually past the Forum's Birthday in NZ (12:40 AM on the 1st
), but here's a celebratory limerick or six (please do forgive me, poetry is not my strongest point):
There was a young chap called Carl,
Who did what he did with no snarl,
He opened a forum,
Gave him much decorum,
And I'll close this by saying "Gnarl".
So Carl once met up with Pam,
Who happily gave him a Ham,
She does what she does,
it generates a buzz,
and she always gets rid of Spam.
And then there's Metropolis Man,
The Manliest Man on the Can,
He writes all the jokes
that please all the folks,
ever since the forum began.
But remember the staff!
Keep the place clean as a bath,
They keep the place warm
Like a nice friendly dorm
And always join in with a laugh.
And then there's the people,
who form the forum steeple,
they make the place
all full of grace
they're rather quite like the sepal.
As you can tell I'm not much of a poet.
I have to throw in words like Kohut.
I've tried my very best,
This limerick's a test
of my knowledge of words like Mowatt.
