The Sims 3 4x4 Dynasty

I remember once sanctioning mod use (ErrorTrap) to fix the issue for another dynasty. I'm willing to do the same for you, considering that you have four generations of progress to save and that it's persistent.

I'd do the complete uninstall/reinstall first, though.

I had to start all over, the file works only half of the time even when I move it to another computer. I tried the reinstall and that led to finding out my laptop had to be fixed, so I decided to start over.

My sim came back from University and it said his Father died, but the father still shows in the sim panel for everybody in the house. He was invited to the graduation but I didn't see him there only his mother and grandmother and they were fine. Is there a way to reset him or is he just gone?

That sounds like a bug. Can you go back to a previous save? If it means having to redo university, I'll allow the other fix: move them to the clipboard and back. If this is the same bug I think it is, that fixes it. It's just not the first thing I'd sanction in a dynasty.

I saved right before he graduated so I didn't have to back top far, but the father still died when he came home. I realized that the father is supposed to age up that day could that be the cause? Is it okay if I go back to before he goes to Uni?

Do go back. I have no idea what causes that bug, to be honest.

Hi, guys, I have a couple of quick questions.

1. Can longer-lived sims be in the household so long as they are not heirs/spouses?

2. Can heirs be aged up early in baby/toddler/child/teenhood?

My hard drive had to be replaced and I couldn't get a copy of my current save file heir 4, I do have a previous save but it puts me back to my 2nd heir. Is it ok to use the previous save and do I have to redo his opportunities? At this point he completed most of his requirements except his career and 2 opps.

You can go back to that save (sucks, man ) but you will have to do those two now-missing ops.

I don't think any of us were expecting any sort of new update to TS3, but there is going to be an Origin patch that releases the Expansion and Stuff Pack Manager.

From what I can gather, this program more-or-less has the same functionality as the Sims Selector 3.0. However, without any knowledge of how well it works, and knowing that it's a PC-only release at the moment, I ask that dynasty players hold off on using it until I can get a look at how it functions.

(Late) Final Thoughts on the New "Patch"

- It does not affect actual gameplay aside from being able to pick and choose EPs, so players don't need to patch up if they don't want to/can't.

- However, I recommend that players use the new official way of picking EPs if they can. But don't fret if the old third-party game selector is the only one that works. Stuff happens.

Hello again! I'm having problems with my age bar, sometimes when I check it, it doesn't show any change. I haven't missed any birthdays but when I save and exit the game it will work for awhile before it stops again. Is there a way to fix it or should I count the days and age up when they are supposed to?

I don't know of any sure solutions to it. But until we find one, I'm okay with counting the days.

Is this your last town? If not, how far away is a move?

When this happened to me it was due to young again potions. I was on my last heir in my 3rd town and was allowed to count. Moving set things back to normal. Best of luck.
