@TheWaybad

Yes, you can use Roaring Heights for dynasty challenges.  However if you find anything in Roaring Heights that gives an advantage over other worlds, please bring it up and let us know.

Just wanting to double check, if the founders generation has a second child, a spare. Can generation 3 or 4 decide to marry this spare?

Im unsure because the rules say

Quote
Heirs are the only ones allowed to invite potential spouses into the household.

And the spare would have been living in the household for a long time already.

So we're all in agreement that the heir has to be the one to invite a spouse into the house. In other words if a potential spouse is outside the house, then the heir hs to bring them in. That is clear. BUT — there is nothing in the rules that specifically states that is the ONLY way to get a spouse into the house. Hehe...kind of a loophole I guess.

The answer to your question is yes, gen 3 or 4 can marry the spare that is already in the household.

Thanks Nutella! Haven't spotted anything in Roaring Heights yet that gives an advantage.

Speaking of spares and such, does an imaginary friend need to be made real for it to count as one of the unique best friends?

No, don't have to make them real to count as one of the unique best friends.

Are we allowed to buy a second property, build on it, and then sell it? I ask because there are no more suitable houses to move the people I move out of my house into, and I don't like kicking them out when I have so much money to spend (it's not like I will be able to use it for something else and it will dissaper in the new town anyway).

As far as not being allowed to extend the life of Sims, I accidentally had a death in the inventory of my founder when she was dying of old age :( (never had that happen before). Have I messed up?

Yes allowed, as long as your active heir remains in the original dynasty house.  It's the townie decadynasty rule that doesn't allow purchasing of private residential lots, this one you're good.

Once all requirements are completed, then you are free to use whatever methods you wish to extend an heir's life.  It is the current active heir that cannot have life extended.  Your founder, I assume she already gave birth to heir #1?  You didn't break any rules, but you will just have to wait longer for your founder to die again for the large tombstone requirement.

If this is immortal dynasty, then yes you have messed up, but this is 4x4, you're good.

I have two questions:

1. Does tiberium grown into large spire cuts from lesser cuts and dusts count for the gem collection?
Collected and cut by a founder/heir of course.

2. Does band gig opportunities count for exclusive opportunities?

Marvellous to hear. Yes, it is the founder and they did give birth to an heir. Just as well as they're not quite at 150k Happiness Points yet! 0.o

If they come under Work, Skill or Special, yes.

Another thought: with writers, does the specialisation challenge count as one unique challenge, or does specialising in each genre count as one unique challenge. I'm assuming the former.

The first one, its on skill challenge, no mather what types of books you choose.
