The celebrity ops seem not to be affected by ITF, unfortunately. I did get a cooking op while at work--so keeping my fingers crossed for my other dynasty.

I just got a logic one while at my house - the first time they went through for me. Strange.

Yes, celebrity ops seem to work just like before. No problems getting those.

This is going to sound odd.. and perhaps a little OCD... but is there a rule that prevents you from going on after the four towns to conquer the rest? Like a 4 X 18 (if you include the upcoming store town or union cove).. would it even be possible? I'm just curious.. and, yes, crazy  ;D

First of all, welcome to the forum. :) You can absolutely carry on and make it as hard as you want. If you would be going for a Hall of Fame effort, then you follow the rules as is, 4 towns and that's it to get into the HOF. But, once you are done with that…for storytelling purposes or whatever, you are free to change anything you want to. Good luck.

It's interesting that you asked that, Illusory. It sounds like something I would do. I'm working on an unofficial random town jump, and one generation per town just doesn't seem like enough. I miss the challenge of the 4x4. Thanks, Metro, it was an OCD dream challenge!

Can we make a sim a kleptoman and steal 4 items and count those as a collection?

I am fine with stolen objects as one neighborhood's collection. But, remember — it's 16 objects per collection, not 4.

Thanks for the welcome. :) So.. once I finish the hall of fame, I could continue the story to other towns... then again.. wouldn't finishing a 4 X 18 count as a mention, too?  ;)  hehe  .. I have some other challenges I'm in the process of.. but getting towards the end on one, so I'll have a "spot" open up, and have been looking for a nice OCD challenge.  ;D

I'm assuming since extending life for non heirs is ok a pet with an aging glitch won't disqualify me for HoF? I placed the pet up for adoption as soon as I noticed anyway.

I have questions about what qualifies for the collection, since I actually plan to attempt a 4x4 when I feel ready to.

1. Do money bags from money trees count as produce?

2. Are riding trophies considered career rewards, products of a skill, or both?

3. Are Plasma Bugs made through the science skill eligible to be counted as beetles for the collection? (I think they're beetles, anyways.)

Yes

Yeah one could probably go either or with riding trophies, so whatever works for you.

3. Are Plasma Bugs made through the science skill eligible to be counted as beetles for the collection? (I think they're beetles, anyways.)

Sure, that's fine.

Some more information about Skill opportunities. Being in class at university also enables you to accept skill opportunities.

If you go with the townie option, do you have to sell all of their furniture before setting family funds? And by 'unfurnished' do you mean the way the game means it (still leaving lights and permanent fixtures like stove, benches, showers toilets etc) or completely remove all furnishings, lights included?

Also, do we have a list of eligible couples/households for the townie option?
