EDIT: I've just got the message to add the different lots, so do I have to add them all or just the ones I want?

Sorry didn't answer this question earlier.  You can just add the ones you want, don't have to add them all.

So, somehow when I was reading Orange Iguana's Evans Jail Immortal Dynasty, I missed the part where Match Maker (social networking) is bugged - it's not registering as complete for me, though my Sim in question has met 32 friends via the Sim Finder app, and has turned all 32 of them into a Romantic Interest with one of the other 32 (for a total of 16 couples). Somehow, his dead parents and his dead in-laws are also showing up, so he match-made his parents as an RI with each other, and his in-laws as an RI with each other too.

In desperation, I even took the sim and his wife on a holiday to France to start matching the French and the Explorers.

Then I went back to reread, and saw that she had indicated the challenge is apparently bugged and doesn't register as complete, though they are.

May I count this challenge?

Oh my, thanks for telling! My gen 2 is doing these challenge so I'd like to ask the same.
May I also ask, Shirin, if the other two challenges in Social Networking function properly? The Finding 25 Sims and selling 5 blogs - will they register or bugged as well?

It says heirs are the only ones allowed to bring potential spouses into the household but does this mean heirs have to invite their own spouses or can other heirs bring in spouses for other generations? I've seen somebody I like to use for my 3rd generation but obviously they'd be dead by the time the heir was old enough to marry.

No, heirs can't bring in spouses for other generations, it has to be their own spouses.  You can however extend the life of that somebody till your 3rd generation is old enough to bring him/her in.

Thanks, Nutella!

Elena, I don't know about the Blog Baron, I'm using a different challenge instead of that. Professional Greeter does register as completed, but I've yet to get the promised Excited moodlet when meeting someone new via the App Finder. The Match Maker one was just not registering, and my sim match made everyone he knew, except himself and his wife.

I'm not sure if this has been asked before but is there any restrictions on moving out founders and heirs that are done with their requirements?

Founders and heirs do not move out, since you need their tombstones to be the large obelisk in order to move to the next world.

I want to say this is an interesting challenge, especially with the fact that you must play on Medium. That means you have no time to potty-train a toddler, and school kids can't get on honor roll unless they are tutored all night! It really puts the pressure on... and I like it! I think that maybe the reason I got bored with the other Dynasties is because of the life span - 90 days is so long and your founder seems to take FOREVER to get old so you can paint their portrait and give them Ambrosia in the Immortal Dynasty. This makes things a little fast-paced - you MUST get Fountains of Youth or Young Again points made ASAP so you can extend the life of the heirs as soon as they finish their requirements. It's good that there are only four unique requirements for extending life as it would be impossible to do the Life State Dynasty requirements on anything shorter than Normal Lifespan. And with bans on all the get rich methods save genie lamps or Inheritance, and bans on Wish Serum, you really NEED to get that Protest against Lifetime Happiness and everyone MUST have Ambitious to get enough Lifetime Happiness to get their rewards so you can get rake in the dough to buy out the town. Woo!  :o

It's nice to see the number 4 as the focus, as a sort of celebration of this forum's 4th anniversary. I know that this forum will stop being updated when The Sims 4 comes out and you create a site for THAT, so I want to thank you all for the wonderful challenges. I loved reading all the attempts and all the successes and hope for best wishes - I will NOT play Sims 4 as it cost me a mint to get all the expansions for Sims 3 and I refuse to buy a sequel until they bury us with more interesting expansions.
I play The Sims 4 for fun, so I don't care if I never end up being interviewed for the Dynasty Hall of Fame; people who play for keeps burn out too easily and don't enjoy playing the games, so I am going to not sweat the details.

Dear EtnaFan666, I am pretty much the same with you:) I hope places to discuss Sims 3 will not stop being updated after Sims 4, after all, Sims 2 still have fans. I may or may not play Sims 4 because the graphic look doesn't capture me as much as Sims 3, EPs for Sims 3 are interesting but rather overpriced (no bashing intended, just personal opinion, thanks) and I don't want to spend as much for the next gen of Sims. However, all these talking might need to go over to the Sims 4 thread. Let's go back to the topic or moderators might get angry:P
I think there is certainly enough time to train toddlers and honor rolls can be reached without tutoring as long as pregnancy is well planned, but after all, I though honor roll is not required both for challenge and for grow up well? And if heir is a male, he can just produce a child in elder years, already halfway in grave for the tombstone. Female heirs in rabbit hole jobs can still work from home and invite boss over to ask for promotions and get to the top before elder stage, just pray the 4 opps go well! As for money, even without genie/inheritance or any premium contents, have a miner for precious gems, a gardener planned in founder years for money trees, a guitarist if in Sunset Valley or open resorts with Isle Paradise are all great ways to be able to buy out the town in the end, I think I'll give it a try if I success in moving to the next world:)

Correct, honor roll is not required for this dynasty.

For the rabbithole jobs, females can get to the top while still Adults. I was able to get my 4th generation to level 10 in 10 days, actually, which I plan on repeating for all of his female descendants in rabbitholes.

Just pick up the Workaholic trait, and then Work From Home until you're about 1/3 to 1/2 of the way up the progress bar.

Dear dynasty team, I've ran into a problem.

I'm currently at university with my fourth and thus the moving heir. Her twin sister got a wish to get some free stuff from the vending machines, no problem normally except this time I wound up with a dead sim. Have I violated the don't kill your sims part of the rules?
Have I disqualified my dynasty from Hall of fame?

No problem this time, since you didn't intentionally kill off your sims.  No more vending machines for you though. :)
