Hi, I feel bad that I keep asking questions here and hope you guys don't mind...

I've had a stylist glitch in my file for a while now and I posted the details in Ambitions board. I'd thank anyone who could help me with it by any chance.

So my question: is it okay to use another file for testing ways to solve some glitches/acting out stories then taking screetshots? If it is not allowed I'd just go unoffical with my attempt and never mind:)

Another question, does 'heirs moving to a new world' mean going Edit Town + Split Household + Save Heir to Bin, or Move To A New Town option that came with recent patch?

I just realized that the latter is not possible to choose which member to move, it'd take the whole household with you.

For now I'll just go back to my file and have my stylist work from level 1 for the 3rd time...

Its ok, as long as your official challenge file meets all the requirements.

Use the in game move to a new town option.  Use your phone, under real estate & travel, you should see an option to move, then choose to a new town, then choose your town.

I just realized that the latter is not possible to choose which member to move, it'd take the whole household with you.

Only moving heir and his/her spouse (or potential spouse) can move to the new town.  You will have to kick everyone else except your heir (and/or spouse) before you move.

I've never used that, but does it create a separate file or does it just add to the current file?

Thanks for the quick reply, I wonder what happens to the kicked members because I've never done this before, do they find place to stay in the town or vanish completely?

When you kick them out, they will find a random house in the town to move into.

Another question: is it okay to cake up somebody outside my household?

When you use ingame move, the game will ask you to save it under a different name, so you will create a separate file.

Yes.

For the 4 large tombstones, do they have to be a founder or heir?

Well, it says that only Founders and heirs can contribute to the World/Family requirements so I'm going to say yes. So that can be both your founders and the any of the heirs after that.

Yes, it's definitely just founders' and heirs' tombstones.  Metro said so somewhere in the 'Workbench' thread.

I have had an issue, I am very close to complete Gen 1's requirements however, he has disappeared.  I can still select him and instruct him to do things but there is a green box on the side without his picture in it and he can't be seen (although the plumbob does tell me where he is at).

I have read of something that may fix it but it involve saving the household and house to the library deleting the bugged house and replacing.  Am I allowed to do this or do I have to restart?

EDIT:  I fixed it - I just got him to change out of his career outfit and it brought both him and his picture back.

@SassySimmer - have you tried changing his outfit using the dresser? I'm pretty sure this has happened to me before and I think that fixed it.

Would an heir making a genie wish to revive a ghost (potential spouse) count as the heir adding them to the household?

I know that it counts as the heir inviting the spouse in the life states dynasty, so I'd say yes.
