Why not look at the decadynasty list?

I asked about townie furniture early in the thread and was told that you can set funds first and then sell their furniture.

I'm trying to find where we discussed cloning but can't find it. What was the ruling on using cloning to bring in the next spouse?

MarianT is correct.  If you go with the townie option, you set the funds to 4k first, then you can sell their furniture if you want to.

Unfurnished means the way the game means it.  If you start with CAS and choose house, you pick the unfurnished option.  After you load in game, you set the funds to 4k, don't need to sell everything before setting funds.

Rikki8528 is correct.  You can look at the decadynasty list for eligible couples.

@saltpastillen

When you say cloning to bring in next spouse, are you talking about the science skill cloning DNA?  or the clone drone elixirs?  or are you referring to genetic engineering?

@saltpastillen

If you use science to clone DNA, that would give you a baby version of that Sim, which is added to your Household.  Your active heir will be the one doing the clone yes?

@saltpastillen

As long as it is your active heir that clones the DNA to bring in the future spouse, you are good, not breaking any rules.  Just remember it must be your active heir to do the cloning, not anybody else.  Good luck.

Just out of curiosity, who are you planning to clone?  Wondering which townie sim is so good that you want to clone him/her!   :P

Lol, I don't have anyone planned as of yet - but I'm thinking it can be a good way to snag someone who already has kids if you want their genetics.

Ok....going to try this seeing as I unwittingly didn't have time to complete either of December's challenges, but looking forward to 2014s :D

Gonna get this off the ground in the mean time.....really hope I'm clear on all the ins and outs (there are a lot of them). So far, don't have any questions. Looking forward to it :D

Thank you Nutella, Rikki8528 and MarianT. That is an excellent list. Does that mean we can use a household that has a single sim, and have them invite another townie sim in to be spouse, or do we have to start with two?

Yes, you can start with a single sim, invite another townie sim in to be spouse.

Apologies if this has already been discussed, but the four tombstones and career rewards just have to be the household's, right? Meaning, they can belong to spares rather than founders and heirs?
