Just a quick question about the townie option, say you chose Agnes as your founder, would you just keep her house (furnished) and still set the money to 4000?

Yes.

Has the challenge team looked at the new premium content (Grim's Ghastly Manor) yet?  I am going to buy it today and am wondering if I am allowed to place it in my 4x4 town the first time I open the game after I do...

Tilia-

I have looked at it online and did research all I can, but didn't purchase it.  You can place it on your town, however I have reservation on the Door of Life and Death.  I think we are going to ban using that, don't want you to kill sims that easy.  In my opinion, the tombstones for moving requirement needs to be from natural death of old age.  The team will chat about this door of life and death, will give you a definite answer hopefully in a few days.

Since you have the manor, do you see anything about this manor that needs some restriction for dynasty play?

In my opinion, the tombstones for moving requirement needs to be from natural death of old age.

Does that mean that if the required tombstone is acquired through some other method (fire, drowning, electrocution), it's invalid, even if it's the large obelisk? (Provided, of course, it's not a deliberately planned death, like Ranting.)

Shirin-

If its not a deliberate planned death, you're good.  I'm just not sure if Metro is ok with deliberately killing a sim off for the tombstones, will check with him asap.

@Tilia
You can place the Grim's Ghastly Manor in your town, however be careful of the door of life and death.

@Shirin
As long as you didn't deliberately kill the sim, your large obelisk will be valid.

Rule:  You cannot directly instruct a Sim to do an action resulting in death.

The Washington family completed it's time in world 3, Riverview. All buildings and properties were purchased and upgraded. The 4x4 collection consisted of metals, space rocks, fish, and LTRs. Large tombstones were provided by Hoquiam, Rose, Issaquah, and Joyce Washington. Unique career rewards were the Spirit Positioning Device, the Minus One Kelvin Refrigerator, the Ingredient Eviscerator 235x, and the Fabulous Angler Medal.
They moved to Bridgeport giving up over 5m simoleons. They've been in Bridgeport for a while now, and it's been running smoother than I expected - so far.

It says I need to be on the latest patch to play this, but my computer is having problems installing it. As you may know, my 4x4 won't be coming back until January, but what if I still can't install 1.63?

Can we still learn the bot making skill and make Plumbots if we just sell them directly after making them?
So we can pursue the career attached to the skill?
