He stole his girlfriends multitab for a bit :D I almost wish when you moved town it replaced the WA worlds with fresh ones instead of these old buggy versions it drags along with it.

Thank you once again Trip  :)

So, I went to a previous save, and tried Oasis Landing again. Soon as Autumn had her job, I gave her a customized outfit. She also had invited her future spouse into the household.

As he's improving the meal quality on the replicator, lo and behold...same issues as before started. Everyone went invisible, reset, were not selectable.

I'm going to just disable ITF and play out the last two gens without it, this is aggravating me so much, I'm about to ditch the file. Which would be a shame, because Autumn's child would be the last heir in the entire thing.

Bleh!

Edit: So, the very last save I have pre-Oasis Landing is apparently also glitching, since Autumn was wearing ITF hair and clothes. She's getting the default red-brown hair, and when I take her to a mirror, I can change it, but the game will not accept/cancel the change, nor can I use the menu. I'm afraid the next most recent save that is not afflicted by ITF is when she was born.

If necessary, can I reboot her all the way back to there?  :-\

Oh dear. :(

Yes, you can go back to that save if you have to.

*sigh of relief*

My file where Autumn was born was corrupted too, weirdly. So I could go back to when her mother was a teenager.

HOWEVER...I also had a file in which Autumn was a teen (her plantsim sister twins are still toddlers) and that one worked out perfectly. She has new clothes and hair, and is ready to ditch the Astronomer career for one in boring old Business.

So I finally finished this a couple of days ago with no more major problems, other than a crash that meant replaying gen fifteens young adulthood, nowhere near as bad as Shirin's problems though  :-\

I really hope you have got over your troubles now Shirin, I'd have been gutted to lose mine so close to the end like that.

Thank you, Turoskel!

The issues seem to be cleared up. Autumn and her sisters are all now Business bound YA, Autumn cured a fairy before inviting him to move in to play stud-muffin later. Her father has passed on, her mother and simbot-uncle are still around. And we purchased an empty plot as an "additional home" but turned it into a mausoleum for the graveyard. So five of the ghosts promptly came over and created havoc. But, have not seen them since!

How the heck did I miss this? Congrats, Turoskel!

Edit: And not to rain on Turoskel's parade, I finished mine a short time ago. Week 72, Day 2.

Edit 2: *snort* And of course, when I'm setting up for the last collection screenshot, the last heir goes and gets herself abducted by her distant relatives (her grandfather was an alien).

Indeed it does! You're working towards the halfway mark in the first world :)

:) Thanks, Turoskel.

I should get to writing the story, but Generation 16's daughter is busy starting her own Life States Dynasty.

I've got a few questions:

1. How do pre-existing career rewards affect a household? I'm thinking specifically of marrying a moving heir to Blair Wainwright, who already has a police car. (a) Does Blair's car count as a career reward? If not, what if she gets to level 5 of the law enforcement career and would have earned the car, if only she didn't already have it? (b) If it doesn't count, does it cancel out an heir's police car if they earn their own?

2. Do the gifts from grateful parents to Sims who work in Daycare count as (a) career rewards; (b) their own collection (Daycare objects taken home??); or (c) something else entirely?

3. Are riding trophies a valid collection (albeit one with no value)?

4. Do the laptops earned in the forensic branch of law enforcement and the game developer career count as separate rewards, or would they cancel each other out as qualifying career rewards if heirs earned both of them?

1. Generally, I'd say that the reward counts even if someone comes with it before you move them in. Her case seems weirder, but I still say you can count it even if she doesn't get that far.

2. Never considered that. I'll add them in as their own collection, but not as career rewards.

3. Riding trophies can count as either career rewards for an equestrian and as a collection, as long as you have enough to satisfy those.

Well, that was the Life States Dynasty logic behind them. No reason not to transfer it over here.

4. They're separate rewards because they were earned through separate careers. Just remember to keep them separate in your head too.
