I have an op question, I understand school and afterschool activity ops don't count but what are the scavenger hunt ones you get as a child classed as? do they count?

My first heir needs one more op to be ready and she still has an unfinished scavenger hunt op, just wondering if I could turn the stuff in and count it as one of her four. I was enjoying the useful map view of all the gems and metals but I'd happily lose that for her to be finished.

I've run into an aging bug, I thought my two elders were taking a long time to die so I made sure to check the days when it hit midnight and it didn't change, my toddler stayed at 4 days as well instead of going to 3, his dad is an original Dragon Valley townie Aiden O'Connell who was an elder until I threw a fountain of youth at him, weird thing is his entire family are dead apart from sister Morida who starts as a young adult, it's already two weeks since my heir met Aiden and Morida is still going, makes me think more than just my family is age stuck  ???

So what am I allowed to do to try to fix them?

Move them to the clipboard and back into their house via Edit Town.

I just tried the clipboard trick but they are still stuck so I decided to check old saves and see when it started, I managed to trace it back to when my heir discovered her pregnancy, the night prior to hearing the chimes everybody aged, the night after she did the twirl they all stopped  ???

Can I go back to an earlier save before she got pregnant and see if it happens with a new pregnancy or not?

Okay I loaded the save I made after she finished her requirements but before she got pregnant and tried again, same thing happened, as soon as she is pregnant they all stop aging, I have never encountered this before, aging bugs yes but not one caused by a pregnant sim  ???

I suppose I could try the clipboard trick before I try for baby, perhaps that might do something this time, it's very odd though.

EDIT: okay tried moving to clipboard before pregnancy, cleared my world cache as well this time too, still the same :(

Any other suggestions of things I could try? the only thing I know would definitely fix it is error trap, but it's a mod so not an option unless I could get permission for a one time use.

I ran into the Fountain of Youth elixir aging bug on my first attempt. I threw it at heir 4/founder of world 2, and it affected not only him, but his heir (I threw it after she was already a YA), her spouse, and a random housemate.

I wound up having to restart the whole thing.

If it's permissible (and possible), maybe try going back before the elixir is used. And just don't use it.

I'll do some tests to see if that is the cause, would be nice to know for sure why she glitched like that, Thanks Shirin.

EDIT: Well it seems that did cause it, without using it they all age fine while she's pregnant, glad I always use save as and keep everything, so can I please go back to the save before she drank it?

Thanks Trip  :D

I guess females will just need to work fast if I have any more, not keen on always having male heirs but at least they can have kids in old age.

I've finished in world one so I just want to clarify a few things before I move.

Whoever my sim marries becomes a new founder, so does this mean any already completed skill challenges are off limits to them and any they complete are then off limits to future heirs? Same for careers?

I'm trying to decide if I should choose a spouse from Dragon Valley or one from Monte Vista after moving, I just know my heir would hit it off with Gino Ferrari but he's almost level 10 culinary and that is her career, I didn't use her rewards for my four so duplicate fridges aren't an issue but I think the career would be, am I right?

But then is it just easier to take a spouse with you though as there's only four days to get pregnant. I keep shoving her at people but she's just not interested, neither are they, she does look a bit like a demon though with her hot pink skin and bright yellow eyes so can't say I blame them  ;D

In truth her skin tone has literally made my eyes hurt so I've covered her up where possible and bought her a suntan booth to help tone it down, I almost asked if I could change it but found the suntan a good work around as it makes her a bit more purple than pink.

Here's a toddler pic, be warned she's rather bright  8)

Yes, the sim that becomes the new founder is bound to the same restrictions. So Gino's career would be an issue if you let him complete it.

And maybe it's your lighting, but I think she looks fine! You are in right, you can't change her skintone. And at least tanning works in your favor; I had a few sims in my Immortal Dynasty who were a pale shade of blue and the tan overlay made them look like vampires.

I think her skin is fine. It's the skin and lime green clothing that's eye-melting.
