Gardening: Life Fruit
« on: August 14, 2010, 05:36:53 PM »
I am trying to make ambrosia and have the death fish. My problem is I am in need of life fruit. I am in Sunset Valley and would like advice on where to find the fruit and maybe a description so i can recognize it.

P.S. I am aware it is covered in the guide but i would like a more specific answer.

You have to find special seeds, you won't know what the special seed is until it is planted and grows.  The best place is at the graveyard, special seeds spawn there regularly.  Outside the fence area along the long sides.

Are they always special seeds for life fruit or can they be rare or something else.

Life fruit seeds are always special seeds, along with death flowers, flame fruit and money trees.

You won't be able to tell which special seeds are for life fruit, but you can narrow it down.  If you try to sell special seeds from your inventory, some have a dollar value and some are worth $0.  Money trees and Death Flower seeds are worth $0.  Life Fruit and Flame Fruit will have a value.  I suspect the Life Fruit seeds will be worth more than Flame Fruit seeds, but I don't know that for certain.  You can also find special seeds around the Science Center.  There are other places, too, but they are harder to describe without a Collection Helper.

Darn, I can't remember what house it is, but there is a house that has life fruit bush in the front yard in SV, I am thinking and thinking, only reason why I know it is there, because I nabbed the fruit off of them because I was going to build a simbot and got sidetracked.  If I think of it before I go to bed, I will let you know.  I am really trying to remember here. :)
Is it true that cannibals don't eat clowns because they taste funny?

It is Flamefruit that is in the front yards of 2 different houses, not Life Fruit.

Yeah, I'd be really surprised if there are Life Fruit bushes in the game.  One of the Flame Fruit bushes is at the Gobias Koffi residence.

Going with what Pam said, if you find a special seed worth $75, you have an Outstanding Life Fruit!

Actually, there are three flame fruit bushes, not two (In sunset valley). One is in front of the Koffi household, one in front o the Wainright household, and the last is in front of the Langrek household.

Yes, there are a total of 3 flame fruit bushes in SV.  I was referring to the 2 that are in front yards in SV because of what someone had said about there being 2 life fruit bushes in 2 front yards.

It gives you moodlets when it's eaten or kept in inventory.  It's also an ingredient for Baked Angel Food Cake.
