Chapter Twenty Three – The Second Immortal

‘Are you sure you want to do this Clare? This...situation is definitely not easy to deal with.’

‘I’ll be good,’ I said to my mother, ‘Randy understands that the dynasty must go on.’ Tears stung my eyes.

“Oh, my baby. I’m so sorry about this. I promise, when the dynasty is over, you will have a happy free life with him.”



I followed her down the dusty set of grey stairs.



‘It’s in here.’

She pushed open a heavily locked glass door. Inside was a strange room, with expensive looking traditional furniture. There were also two food replicators.



With my heart hammering in my chest and sweaty palms, I walked over to one of the food replicators. I pressed a glowing button that said AMBROSIA, and a plate of the stuff digitised in a small compartment.


 
We set our plates on the table and started to eat.


 
The taste of Ambrosia- it’s indescribable. All I could think of was happy memories. My first kiss with Randy. My...my wedding. Dexter’s birth.

Suddenly a strange aurora of lights appeared on the plate.



I opened my mouth to say something when the light exploded. I was submerged in the light, and I felt almost weightless.



Soon the lights went away. And then I realised:

My name is Clare Bertone, and I am the Second Immortal.

Thanks for the long comment! Well, I just look around my suburb and see what kind of houses there are, and then I try and replicate them into sims. Ha ha, I could never do that to Randy, although I might if he upsets my Audrey again.

I don't think I'll fail this time. I've learned a lot about glitches and I'm being super careful about finishing requirements and I'm not taking any risks.

Chapter Twenty Five - Daddy's Girl

Kristie: I’m gaining weight!

No, you’re not fat, you’re pregnant!

Kristie: Oh, that’s even worse.



Dexter: When you’re older, I’m going to buy you lots of toys!

Kristie: The baby can’t hear you, Dex.



Kristie: Audrey, the baby is only a day and a half old. It probably can’t talk yet.

Audrey: Don’t be silly! I can hear it very clearly.

Obviously everyone in this house has caught baby mania.



Kristie has been craving watermelons recently. I wonder why?



That's quite a tummy you've got there, Randy. You could compete with Kristie.

Randy: Shut up. I'm at the gym now.



Randy: See? Back to normal.

Okay, okay, whatever.



Kristie: Aah! Ooh! Oww….!

Oh crap. Quickly, get to the hospital!

 

Dexter: Honey – are you sure you don’t want me to drive?

Kristie: Just be glad I haven’t crashed your car.

Dexter: *gulp*



After a 30 minute labour, Kristie gave birth to a daughter, called Emerson.



Everyone melted on sight of her.





Dexter knew he was going to be a wonderful father.

Dexter was so cute when he talking to Kristie tummy! I hope that the baby will not be spoiled!



I just wonder why that she looks creepy for a moment; as if the baby has something to tell that she will take over the world. Is she an evil heiress?
