Chapter Six:  A Promotion and Birthdays

Due to his head start in logic and athletic skills, Garth was soon promoted to desk jockey and it was no time at all before it was time for birthdays, Skylar would be a toddler and not too much longer it will be time for Tristan to age to child.   

Skylar ages up to toddler and it is seen that she has the pointed ears, not real pointed but they do have a point to them.

Garth’s promotion means he has the task of gathering information and writing reports.  To get that information he must either do interviews or some rummaging in neighbors trash.  Hummmm, let’s see, rummage in trash, less time consuming than trying to get someone to chat with you.   And you might just find some good stuff!
It is Friday night, he can stay out late and sleep in; so a nap is needed and then off he will go to dig into those nasty trashcans.  Better him than me.

But he was good to help with the kids when he could along with the rest of the family.

Which left Ayna and Catlin to take over the rest, potty training, walking and talking, but they handled it fine, along with finishing what Izzy needed.

I think that Skylar had her daddy wrapped around her fingers, he was always picking her up to hold her.





Sat is the day that Tristan will age to child, and not soon enough; three toddlers under foot is stressful to all, adults and kids.  It’s the “I though you were going to feed Skylar?”  “No, I said I was going to feed Izzy, you were supposed to feed Skylar!”  Will someone just feed her -- I am tired of hearing her yelling that she is hungry!  Tristan!  Just take this book over there and read it.  I don’t care you have read it three times already, either get out of the way, go and read the darn book or get stepped on, your choice.  And don’t whine, I hear enough of that from your grandfather since I took his dragon away from him. 
(yes, I took his dragon away from him, he kept blocking everyone as he stood and talked to it; in the bathroom, in front of the fridge, in front of the dishwasher, blocking the doors, got tired of listening to them yelling at him)




So the cake is set out and mom is told to get Tristan, but for some reason Dimitri brought him to the cake.

Tristan was glad that it was his birthday -- and he made sure he got his piece of cake, too. 



Chapter Seven:  School Days, School Days, Dear Old Golden Rule Days

The weekend ends and Tristan starts to school and in a couple of days it will be Izzy’s birthday to age up to child.  Garth continues to do his job at work and has an offer to switch to another career, but he turns it down, get caught and laughed at when he falls asleep in a lecture at work and life continues.
Then, it is time for Izzy to have her birthday and it all looks weird as there is also a full moon that night. 








The family celebrates her birthday and everyone enjoys some cake.
 Then it is off to bed for another day.

For some reason, Izzy seems to not catch the bus home from school.    It took four days for the family to realize she was missing the bus all the time and so had to keep an eye on her and tell her to get on her broom and get her tail end home; Right NOW!
Then, she pulls a new one, she decided to skip school.  Heard laughter, and it was a kids laughter, so looked over and she and Dimitri were watching tv,   Shame on Grandpa -- instead of taking her to school after a lecture of how it will affect her grades, he sits and watches tv with her!






Hummm, maybe the line about hickory stick should be used in this case.  On both of them!

Soon it will be Skylar's birthday, hope it goes better than the other two's does.

Chapter Eight:  Never-ending Birthdays

It was Friday and Sat was both Dimitri and Catlin’s birthdays, they would become elders.  With seven in the family, it seemed that someone was always having a birthday.
The party was, as the others, family only and it was a somewhat nice time.  Dimitri aged up first











and he didn’t wait to let Catlin do her aging up before he decided to eat a slice of his cake, he had skipped supper to have room and so he must have been real hungry! 









Catlin wasn’t so happy to see her wrinkly skin, and feel the changes to her body, she was old now! Dimitri for some reason didn’t look like himself after he had a makeover, definitely needed a new hair style, and some other clothes, as did Catlin.

for some reason I didn't take photos of them in a makeover,  but you will see them as the story progresses. 

Then it was time for Skylar to have her birthday and it is also a family affair.  Teen birthdays will have classmates over so romancing can be done, hopefully a future mate will be among the group.

YEAH! can now put up the potty chairs!


Skylar ages up to a child and life continues, with the interesting aspect of one of her traits as evil.  She keeps wanting to make master plots, and enjoys seeing others sad.  Surprisingly, she is my favorite of the three, Izzy prefers to lay around and watch tv (could be from the trait of couch potato) and Tristan is just so good that he is boring. 
The kids have made friends at school, Hannah Ursine , Randy Keaton, and a couple other boys and several girls for Tristan to hopefully find a mate.
Hannah and Izzy became good friends, visiting each other and playing tag.




Garth keeps getting offers to switch to other careers, but he turns them down.  He is at level eight now so it shouldn’t be long before he reaches his goal.  In the area of goals, Catlin is still working on reaching her goal.


Chapter Nine:  The Dreaded Tennagitus

It worked out that Garth and Ayna where both due to age up to adults just before the kids.  This made it too many to show each one so here they are all together, and a note of what happened at the parties.  Here are the photos of the five birthdays, this gets them out of the way quick.

Ayna and Tristan had a double party and he almost lost out on a piece of his cake, mom must have been hungry, or real greedy, as he went to get a piece she moved ahead of him.  She had had a piece of her cake, one of his and now she wanted another.  The watcher, however, was watching out for him and made her put the second piece down and sent her to another area.  Then, told him to get that piece.




and he isn't the only one who almost doesn't get a piece of their birthday cake, Skylar almost lost out.  Greedy adults!

I now remember why I  dislike having so many sims in a family.  More time is spent with birthdays than in playing the families!

Chapter Ten:  Excitement in the Park

The kids have all aged up now, just YA birthdays and then marriages to get taken care of.  There always seems to be something.
In between Tristan’s and Izzy’s birthday, the adults needed a break and headed to the park.  Something always happens when they are at the park.
There Jared Frio is a jerk, slapping another sim around and is rude to Dimitri.  BIG mistake.  He tosses an opposite personality elixir at him (forgot to get a photo).  Then Xander Clavell insults him and that was another BIG mistake. 







He has his dragon (which he found somehow after he aged up) shoot fire at him.   Catlin is practicing her magic and just because I don’t like him (he was mean to a sim I had in another game) I let her curse Cyc10n3 to be haunted. 






Meanwhile, it will be a bit more peaceful as no more parties to deal with, at least for short bit.  Just the meeting of other teens; and this time around to my surprise there are several in the town.  New families, the Tovar’s, Mark’s household which consist of two families.  Add Hannah Ursine along with two or three others.
Love will be in the air with the family guiding it.  Trips to the beach is a nice help.  There was fun in windsurfing, the family really enjoys it, even when someone, this time Ayna, ends up in what could be called a cul-de- sac in the area below Agnes home.







Still they had fun in the sun, Dimitri and Catlin relaxed in the sun and later splashed in the water like a couple of kids. 









Tristan enjoyed the hamburger (or hotdog) his grandmother fixed on the grill and then chatted with a teen who was there.





 Izzy met Randy Keaton there although it was late and getting dark when he showed up.



All in all, it was a fun day for the family

Chapter Eleven: Romance is in the Air

 Tristan meets Danielle at school the next day and that evening he goes to visit and it was first a hope for them to become a couple; then he found she was in a relationship with Mortimer Goth. 





No problem, Hannah, Elizabeth, Loretta and a couple of others to check out.  Loretta called and asked him for a date and it had an okay ending . 





His traits would have been better with Danielle but . . .  .  With his traits of Love of O’Doors, Easily Impressed, Party Animal and Friendly and she has the same except in place of Love of O’Door she has C. Whiz, I think they would  have been perfect for each other.  Loretta’s are C. Potato, BW, Artistic and Lucky, Hannah has Loves to Swim, Virtuoso, Inappropriate and Easily Impressed.  And Elizabeth’s are Absent-Minded, Clumsy, Schmoozer and Angler.  Which one will win the prize of being the next Mrs. Lombardi?
For Izzy her traits are Absent Minded, Virtuoso (at least one time I would like to not see that trait in this family), C. Potato and Friendly.  With Randy having Overly Emotional, Easily Impressed, Love of O’Doors and Virtuoso (see what I mean?) they have a good chance due to the sparks, or rather hearts, which showed up when they were talking at the beach one evening.  And he has called twice. 




It seems that Garth was getting a payback for always stealing his dad’s dragon.  Skylar has taken possession of his and I think she needs one of her own.  With her traits a black dragon would be best for her and it was funny to see the looks on her face when the egg hatched.










 
Garth was also quite funny, especially where he chose an unusual place, the bathroom, to entertain himself.  Get your minds out of the gutter readers,   

He had done some more rummaging




and discovered one of the virtual gaming devices.  I kept getting weird popup of battles in space and so I went to check it out and there he was, in the bathroom with the contraption on his head and dancing around in the bathroom.  He was quite comical to watch as he acted out the events, pretending to be shot, eating food and the pumping of his arm when he won a battle. 










Izzy or Skylar, not sure who, brought a friend home with them after school.




And Dimitri showed how he could be a dirty old man!  He started to flirt with her, which made her uncomfortable. Tristan rescued her and I sent him to write a book.  Dirty old man (tsking and shaking my head).






Need to find out who she is, could she be an interest for him?



Chapter Twelve:  Obtaining Goals

Garth had reached his goal in law enforcement DNA forensic and I chose to have him retire.   
It was just a few days later that Catlin, finally, obtained her goal of Illustrious Author.  Ayna is still working on hers, it won’t be long now before they have both obtained their goal.
Catlin has also shown an interest in alchemy, so she starts back to making elixirs, which had a couple of time bad results. 




At least she didn’t turn herself into a toad!

There is more fun in the sun for the family, a good way to keep off the stir crazy attacks and to meet with other teens.  Of course, it would be nicer if Randy would show up before 7:00, instead of waiting for it to get dark to be able to see them together. 









The adults and elders seem to have regressed, they wanted to play in the sand and build sand castles. 

There are phone calls with the kids to other teens, now to wonder who the lucky sim will be who they chose to marry.
Since Skylar’s future mate won’t be from SV, she can focus on skilling up, and making her master plans on how to take over a certain town.  That evil smile she has at times makes me think she knows what I am plotting.   




 It is Sat and Tristan goes to the Enchanted garden and meets both Elizabeth and Loretta there, they live in the same house and so it will be interesting to see which one of the girls could end up becoming his mate. 






There are still a couple of other girls to check out before a final decision is made.  And who was that girl he rescued from his grandfather?

Chapter Thirteen:  The Knight in Shining Armor

It is time for Tristan to age up to YA and mom gets the fun of inviting the guests.  Good thing to, as she figured out who it was that Tristan rescued from his grandfather and she was invited along with several other females and Randy for Izzy.

There was as usual some party crashers, the four Bunch kids all seemed to feel that it was okay for them to show up, even though not a one of them was invited. 
The one that Tristan saved was no other than Bella Bachelor and they seemed to connect. 




Good thing, Danielle and Mortimer are now partners, so she is out of the picture.

A makeover from teen to YA







The next day he goes to her house and they chat. 
Then they chat some more, flirt and the next thing I know they are falling in love!





He asks her on a date and they go to the Bistro and it was great,








until the end, when she dashed off and it came up that it was not a nice date.  But I think his armor still has some shine to it and the next day he plans to invite her over and see if he can get her to at the least to go steady and at the best marry him.  He knows she is the one for him. 
And the wedding cake over her head says she likes the thought of marriage with him.




Chapter Fourteen:  Sorrow and Joy

The next morning the girls head off to school and later Catlin is making some more elixirs, Dimitri is finishing up a book and Garth and Ayna had gone to the beach.
Tristan has gone outside to call Bella when all of a sudden the screen goes to Catlin,



she is dying, NOOOOO, I’m not ready for her to go yet. 


Grim, however, doesn’t care what I want, just what he has to do so I am ignored.  Dimitri runs upstairs and just as Catlin goes to leave, the girls get home from school. 







Now I have everyone crying and boohooing and Tristan is on the phone talking to Bella and has no idea of what is going on. 



Bella agrees to come over and this time I get lucky and the option shows up for him to ask her to move in.  YES !  Now I don’t have to waste the day setting up for romancing and wedding.  At least someone needs to be happy.  Bella agrees to move in, a makeover is performed and then they go outside in a pretty area so he can propose.


First, he asks her to go steady, get that part out of the way

Next up will be Izzy, she and Randy will soon be YA and can get married.

Chapter Fifthteen:  Birthday and Wedding Bells are Ringing

Randy has called and asked Izzy to go on a date and the location is a bit weird; at the hospital, of all places. 




But at least it is in the daytime and they have a good time and build more on their relationship.  It is one more day for them to age up to YA and as soon as they become YA they can get married. 





As for Lifetime Wishes, Tristan trait leads him to have no options available.  WA and IP are out due to the glitches that comes and go.    Last one was Law Enforcement, so I used his rewards to change a trait and chose the one best, Leader of the Free World.  Bella has the traits of Good, Lucky, Brave, Snob and Photo Eye.   Her LTW was World Class Gallery.  Glitches and no skills will require a new LTW. She will need to get some points to get the chance to change her LTW, not sure what it will be though. 

Izzy is aging up to YA today and so she will be having her birthday party.  Randy I think is also going to be having his birthday,
Izzy came home from school and the family had her party with just a few teens invited.








 It seems that, as usual, some who are not invited show up.  It was an okay party; Randy was there but it was so rushed and late that he had his cake and dashed off, I guess he wanted to get home so he could age up to a YA also.

The next day shows that Randy has also aged to YA and so Izzy invites him over for a visit and then gets him to move in.  I am able to do some changes and get a chance to see what his traits are; Love of Outdoors, Over-Emotional and Virtuoso, along with Green Thumb and Angler.  He has the LTW of Perfect Aquarium but that was changed to Perfect Garden.

The makeover is finished and he now has something decent to wear to his wedding.  They go to the back yard and with the ocean behind them for the scenic look Izzy lets him know she admires him and asks the all important questions, will he go steady, first kiss and then the proposal.

They exchange their rings to seal their love for each other and they are now happily married.  One last birthday left in the family.



Chapter Sixteen:  Life, Death and Moving on

It is now time for Skylar to age up and it is just the family at her party.  She does the sparkle twirl and changes to a YA in desperate need of a makeover; and the family is now free to move on.

The family bought Izzy and Randy a nice home for them to live in and it has plenty of room for him to have a small garden in.   They live near the Enchanted Garden and there is a pool and play area for the kids they will soon have.   








They can now start their new life and first off, the starting of a family


Just a couple of days after Izzy and Randy move out, tragedy strikes the family, Dimitri dies on them.







Garth is visiting Izzy and Tristan is at the elixir store.  It is a sad time for all to lose him, he had been well loved by all the family members.  Tristan was close to his grandfather and feels the loss even at the store and mourns there.





It is time to move to the final town.  The kids had been told from birth what the family goal was and Izzy had always stated she wanted to stay in SV, Randy’s family was there and he was close to his parents. Skylar had plans of her own, so staying in SV was definitely not part of that plan.  Bella was ready to move on and so the family made plans to move by the end of the week to the next town, the one that for most of them would be the last town.  Then Izzy visits to give them the news that she is going to have a baby,







so the plans to move are delayed, Garth and Ayna want to see their grandbaby before they move away.

While the family waits for the joyous additions to the family line, Tristan goes to the courthouse for an opportunity.  As he leaves, a protest has started.  I'm not sure if they are protesting about bugs or the abuse of bugs, I would think about bugs but now days, who knows.
It is surprising to see the police protesting and VJ with his hair and in the kilt is quite a site.  And Morganna, what in the world is she wearing.







It is just a few days later that Izzy gives birth.  But she surprises the family.  She doesn’t have one baby, no she has triplets!  All three are girls and two are green skinned and one has the normal skin of her father.  Welcome the family Tamsy, Lark and Breeze. 









It is fitting that the family looks out over the ocean from the deck and sees the lighthouse light, the stars in the sky and think of what lays ahead for them in the next town.  They will be leaving in the morning to head off to the final town for all but Skylar to live in.




The family gathers in the car to drive to the beach to get onto the ship to sail away to their new homeland.  Their new home was a group of islands and so not only was it fitting to sail there, it was the only way to get there.  Off they go to Isla Paradiso.







Goodbye Sunset Valley, it has been a nice visit here, not what I expected it to be and it was a welcoming surprise.

Plan A is to move the family to IP and attempt to play there.   

If it works out, then Tristan and Bella will have a child, boy, who will remain in IP to find a mate to continue the family line. 
Skylar and the mate I have chosen for her will have two children and continue the plotting that she and I have going on.

If there is too much lagging in IP, then the family will return to SV to follow Plan B.

Island Paradise


Chapter One:  The New Home

The family has arrived in IP and they are looking forward to their new life. 






The goal of the family has been to move from town to town to spread the name of Lombardi, to connect the family to the new towns and create a legacy of the family name.  This is the last town and Tristan and Bella like it here, they want to stay here and raise a family, no more jumping from one town to another town. 
After they get settled in Skylar and Garth are wired and decide to check out the garden, he wants to get some fresh foods for her.  Ayna, Tristan and Bella are too tired to do anything but relax.     The house is nice copy of their old home, but the setting isn’t nearly as nice; no nice view of the ocean. 






At the garden Skylar and Garth run into Carolina Ichtaca and Skylar learns she is married to a man who has royalty in his bloodlines and she had a brother-in-law who isn’t married. 




Hummmm, that gives her an idea, but she will have to meet him first and see how they connect.  She also has a goal and needs a mate who will support her in this goal. 
Morning comes and Bella and Tristan have been checking out the island and they decide to take scuba diving lessons; who knows, maybe they will find some treasure.  Skylar also decides to take scuba diving lessons and runs into her brother there, and then when Bella comes out and they start to get lovey-dovey she goes inside. 








She goes to explore the island and at one of the ports she meets a man Rubisel Ichtaca, the one that Carolina had told her about and she starts a conversation with him.  Things are looking good.  Is this love at first sight?

Chapter Two:  Meet, Greet, Relax at Resort and More


Morning comes and Skylar goes to visit with Rubisel and they are starting to click, maybe he is the one for her. 




Ayna and Garth are realizing they are soon going to become elders.  Tristan and Bella decide that now is a good time to start their family, so they have some fun and create the next generation. 







Skylar is also advancing on her relationship with Rubisel and with pride in his family name and role as a prince, he understand Skylar’s wish to restore her family to its rightful place. 




Since Tristan wants to be the leader of this town, he use this time as an opportunity to get to know some of the residents staying there.  He has signed up at city hall for a job and wants to get a head start on becoming well-known.

Tristan goes to the city park in the area and meets a man with a child in his arms.  They have a nice chat and then another man shows up as he is practicing his magic.  He goofs and sends a fire curse on the man, but fortunately, his good luck charm helps him to not become angry.   






The family has seen the resort and decides to have some pampering so they all sign up for a night there. 





Tristan and Bella do some dancing and then, as usual he relaxes in the sun.




After a nap he meets and talks with some the other visitors to the resort.  He meets one who has tattoos on his chest, are those sharks?   





Meanwhile, Skylar is chatting with another guest at the resort, one that her father accidently cast a fire spell on.  Her family does seem to be having problems with that spell



After chatting with Lincoln Tristan decides to check out the hot coals, see if he can do a fire walk








He should have left them alone; he ends up with burnt feet.   

Bella enjoys swimming and then has a nice fruity drink at the bar; she is pregnant so is being careful of what she drinks. 





Garth and Ayna enjoy some time in the hot tub chatting about their soon to be born grandchild. 




Skylar chats with others there and plays on the slide at the pool and quality time with mom in the hot tub. 






Ayna is happy she doesn’t have to do any cooking and enjoys the buffet available for meals. 




When it gets dark she discovers the hot coals and decides to take a walk.  She struts down the walk and cheers as she finished without a blister on her feet. 






Morning comes too soon and they head home, having enjoyed the resort and make plans to visit more in the future.

Chapter Three:    Here Come’s the --- Baby?  Now the Bride!

Skylar and Rubisel are continuing to meet and chat on the phone and their romance is processing nicely. 

The next day she calls and invites him over to meet the family. 




What she didn’t take into account was how close Bella was to having her baby.  Bella goes into labor, she and Tristan start to freak out.  Rubisel is on his way, what will she do! 


Skylar greets him and Bella goes to the nursery to have the baby. 




And in a short while the family has a new member, welcome to the family Keoni. 










Now they get to wait and see if he has his grandmother hair color and her and his dad’s ear; they aren’t sure yet, but he does have the normal skin color. 
Skylar and Rubisel have a good time and are bonding more.  He agrees to stay the night and then accepts her request for him to move in.  Yeah!  That is a good sign. 

Also a chance to do a makeover, gotta get that man some decent clothes!

They sleep late and it is in the late afternoon when Skylar gets the nerve up kiss him, their first kiss






then the next step, she asks him to go steady. 



Sigh, now the hard part is coming up, what if he says NO!

Then, as she is preparing to propose to him Garth and Tristan come out to work out on the equipment nearby.  They see her with Rubisel and go back inside and she is able to continue with her goal, marry him.  Forget changing into formal wear, at the rate things are going, they will be aging into elders before he says I do!

he says yes and wants to get married right there, so they have a private wedding. 








and head off to celebrate their union. 







The next day, she becomes sick.  Bella gets a smirk on her face and Skylar's realizes she is going to be a mommy!  Oh my, so soon.




Wonder if it will be a boy or girl?  Heck, all she and Rubisel had been thinking about was do they stay there, move to his old houseboat, should he quit his job and should she starts her now.  Looks like they may have to add in the factor of a baby now not later.

Chapter Four:    Changes Galore in the Family

[It is decided, she wants to be able to spend time with the baby, then focus on her career, not have to work around their baby’s needs.  He wants to scuba dive more than be a cop, so he opts to stay home and when the baby is old enough to be left alone he can do what he really likes to do, hunt treasure!

The  family fusses over Keoni, dad playing with him and




Grandma has given him a bottle and holds him for a bit.




The family is so busy with the adjusting to two new members of the family and the news that Skylar is going to have a baby that they forget that there are three birthdays coming up, Ayna, Garth and Keoni are all going to have birthdays! 
Ayna goes first and she isn’t too happy with her new skin, wrinkles, ugh! 









Next is Garth and he doesn’t enjoy the process of aging up, seems his bones didn’t like the process of becoming old bones. 








Perfect timing, after everyone has a slice of cake Keoni wakes up from his nap and is hungry.  Garth goes to give him his bottle and rock him.




Then Bella takes him and places him on the floor so he can age up to toddler.  Now to see what his hair color is and does he have pointed ears.






There are the sparkles and here he is, with brown hair and pointed ears, and as cute as a button!

Dad immediately collects his son and realizes he needs to use the potty chair, no time like the present to start the job of potty training.  After that is taken care of, he starts to teach him to walk. 




Skylar and Rubisel go to their bedroom to have some fun and celebrate the upcoming birth of their child and of course the family has to interfere. 


Grand Central Station, it seems that everyone wants to see how the room had been remodeled,








seems that the only one who didn't barge in was Tristan

They leave and just as they get to romancing again Skylar does the twirl into her maternity clothes,




but they are determined to have some fun so they don’t let that deter them.

Chapter Five:    Moving Out and Baby makes Four!


A couple days later Skylar and Rubisel announce that they are moving out.  They decided on a larger houseboat with more bedrooms.   They say their goodbyes and head off to their new home.









Skylar and Rubisel head to go to their new home, Rubisel runs down the hillside to get to the water where his boat is but has to wait for Skylar, she has to walk slow due to the baby.  He is sure he saw a snail pass her as she headed down the path.







Skylar is too impatient to wait and swims from the boat to the walkway, wanting to checks out the house.   




It seems as if no time has passed and she feels some pain.  The baby is coming!  But to her surprise, or rather shock, it isn’t one baby, but two, twins, oh boy, is she going to have her hands full. 














Welcome to the world Arika and Thomasso.  She is unable to tell if either one of them has pointed ears, skin color is normal, but Thomasso has darker skin than the other, he takes after his daddy.  She will just have to wait until they age up to toddler to find out.
Life continues, she and Rubisel read skill books, he keeps in touch with family, friends  and diving while they go nuts taking care of the twins. 

 It seems they both want to eat, play or have a diaper change at the same time. 
Soon it will be time for the twins to age up to toddler and Skylar and Rubisel can’t wait to see, do either one, or both have pointed ears? 
Then the day comes when the twins age up to toddlers and the questions will be answered, hair color and what shape do the ears have. 





Thomasso has his grandmother’s hair color and her pointed ears.  Arika has his dad’s eyes and the blond hair, not sure where that came from.

And I have had a hard time keeping straight who had what color of hair for some reason.

NOTE:  The houseboat they are living in is the one that Twinsmum built.  I did some changes to it to fit better what I needed.  She also had a lot of items from other expansion packs and store that I didn't.

I hope this gives an idea of what it looks like.

Chapter Six:  Birthday Time


Edited:  for some reason, and I don't know why I mixed up the names of the twins.  When I was working out some of the photos, seeing what I had, I realized I had put in the wrong names.  I corrected it in this posting

Tristan had been practicing his magic and did the fire blast in the yard, which freaked everyone out.  It is put out and the family earns some nice money from it, but I would prefer he learn some other spells. 




Tristan teaches Keoni to talk, making sure to let him know that fire is dangerous, stay away from fire!




As the family waits for Keoni to age up to child, Tristan is working on his charisma skills, chatting with townies at the park. 




It is time for Keoni to age to child and the family has a party for him.  He hesitates on blowing out the candles FIRE! but his dad lets him know it is okay.   Wish is made, candles blown out and he does the sparkle dance and here is Keoni, not a bad looking kid.

The next day is Sat and he gets an opportunity, go to the park.  On their return they are near the Bistro and both are hungry, time for some father son bonding.




After the meal they get a chance to do some chatting, Keoni meets Michael Han and hopefully they can become friends. 




Monday comes too quickly (for Keoni) and he heads off to school.   Tristan heads off to work and comes home with the news that he has earned another promotion-he is now a Yes man.

But poor Arika, the family goes off to enjoy cake and forget about him and he has to do his sparkle dance without anyone there. 






After they have all finished their cake it is time for the boys to get a makeover they definitely need some hair!

The family  has some fun time at the local swimming pool, even though they have their own pool on the houseboat

The twins start school and dad is there to help with homework when needed





But, trouble comes to Paradise.

It is here that I have trouble with the lagging, buggy behavior of the town and so have to make a decision.  I go with rolling the dice instead of returning to SV and end up with the Lombardi family moving back to MF to play until Keoni reaches YA and is able to return to IP and finish out his part, finding a mate and starting his own family.   

The Ichtaca-Lombardi family will stay in Isa Paradiso and continue the plans for that branch of the family.

I am going to try to keep the family in order of growth and events, matching up as close as possible; hopefully, I can do it without any problems.

Major Changes in Both Families Lives

Extenuating circumstances lead to the family having to move from IP to MF, so the Lombardi family packs up and move there; with plans to move back to IP later.  When they are ready to retire they will return to IP and can live on a houseboat and enjoy the fun in the sun and diving for treasure.

Chapter Seven: Back in Moonlight Falls

Garth, Ayna, Tristan, Bella and Keoni arrive at their new home and begin their new life there.  The view is much better than what they had in IP they are happy about that.  Garth and Ayna had lived in DV, somewhat similar to MF so felt comfortable here. 






Tristan and Bella had lived in SV so this was different for them, but they were up to the challenge of this new town.  Besides, they would be heading back to IP when Keoni became a YA.
Keoni starts to school and Tristan goes to meet residents in the town and sign up at City Hall for his career in politics.

Garth is having fun fishing for the fish needed for the elixirs, surprisingly, he became interested in alchemy and has started to make elixirs.  Ayna is enjoying herself by writing books or just playing computer games. 




Bella can’t seem to focus on one thing at a time.  She goes from learning alchemy, to writing books, to cooking, working on her logic and charisma skills.



 Keoni does well at school except for one day when the school bus doesn’t run.  Fortunately mom is able to take him to school. 



She also gives him some help with his homework




Bella and Tristan go to the Tavern to get a break and it is a full moon.  A zombie gets inside and then she and a werewolf start to fight.  Bella quickly steps in and does a cure on the zombie. 




Chapter Eight: Birthday and Fund Raising Parties

It is time for Keoni to have his teen birthday party and Dad sees it as an opportunity to get to know the residents better, have them to a party and increase relationships. 

Just as Keoni blows out the candles and then as he goes to do the sparkle dance some of the guests keep walking in front of him so very few photos taken of his aging up. 






But here he is, now a teenager.  The family and guests sit down for some cake, but for some reason Keoni doesn’t get any. 




Never fear, the watcher makes sure that a slice is set aside for him.  One of the guests, an Ivy, plays his guitar but all of a sudden he drops to the floor.  Someone throws water on him and a popup states that he was able to be hydrated.  Seems he is a mermaid. 






A guest had an argument with another guest and he then goes to sit looking out a window with a broken heart and sad look.  Others sit down to play video games, read a book or play on the computer.

The party was seen as a success, so everyone was happy.


Tristan has risen up in his career and he decides to have a fund raiser party. 
Furniture was moved around to make room and it was a good thing, as soon as they arrived they started to dance. 

Tristan worked the guests, smiles, good luck charms and the family was willing to join in the fun and help entertain the guests.

There were a couple of incidents, for some reason many of the guests didn’t like (can't remember his first name) Ivy and they booed him. 





One of the guests decided close to the end to transform into a werewolf, which fortunately those who were still there ignored.




 It was listed as an epic success and he was given $60, 741, so I guess that was a good amount to add to the contributions. 


In a few more days Keoni will be having his YA birthday.

Island Paradise:  The Ichtaca-Lombardi Family

Chapter Nine:  Instead of Joy there is Sorrow

Skylar and Rubisel decide to stay in IP and raise the twins there.   Now that the twins are older and can be left alone, Rubisel is able to do some diving. 




The weekend is spent as family time, sharing a meal and chatting with each other.   The twins play tag on the boat while their parents relax inside. 







Skylar is working on her job and doing quite well and they are a happy family. 
Tomorrow is the big day, the twins will be aging up teenagers and they are looking forward to getting their own boats and cars.  School lets out and Thomasso goes to visit at the Ichtaca home and play with his cousins.  Arika is at a friend’s house enjoying time with another classmate.

Rubisel is home working on his athletic skill, swimming in the pool.  All of a sudden he has a leg cramp and needs to get out of the pool.  But he is alone and there is no one to help him.  If it had been only a few minutes later Skylar would have been there, maybe able to save him as she was on her way home.  She arrives to find Grim standing on the deck under the pool with the news that he is taking her mate with him.  Grim stays behind.













She begins to cry and he tells her he is an evil creature without a heart and her tears will be of no avail and then vanishes, leaving her to mourn her loss.

Thomasso is at his cousins and feels the loss of his father and starts to mourn right there. 




Arika doesn’t seem to realize that his father has died until his mom comes to pick him up and then he begins to mourn him. 

The next day is a sad event and the trouble that the family suffers with seems to continue.  Arika has his cake first and all goes well, he blows out the candles and does his sparkle dance







As Thomasso goes to blow out the candles on his cake, the table catches on fire! 





The twins run out of the way so the maid can put out the fire.  Now they have a burnt cake and table and he has to age to teen without having his cake to eat. 

They move to another area and celebrate his birthday, without a cake







A quick makeover is needed for they both ended up with no hair.  Again!

Three seems to be the number of events, the third one comes with the maid and the dishwasher catching on fire





The next couple of days are sad ones as they mourn the loss of Rubisel and Thomasso also losing out having a cake for his birthday.  The only good news is that there is a new family in town.  The Hamada’s have a family of four girls, three are triplets.  Adrianna, Jasmine and Orchid are the triplets and there is Nicole, who is older.
Now they just have to meet the girls and get to know them better.

Chapter Ten:  Meeting some Girls


Thomasso had gone to check out the so called museum, it wasn’t much of one, but somewhere to go.  To his surprise and joy he ran into some of the Hamada’s who were there, Nicole, Adrianna and Orchid along with their father.  Lucky girls, they still had their dad with them.  (to help identify, with the triplets; Orchid has the green top, Adrianna has the yellow and Jasmine has the purple.  Nicole has red)




 He chatted with Nicole and then called his brother to come and join him, a chance to get out of the boat. 








While his brother is chatting with one girl he is chatting with another.  They are both getting a chance to get to know the girls, maybe share info later at home.  It was getting late, they needed to head home.  Jasmine had left earlier with her dad before Arika had a chance to talk with her.


The next day, Sunday, Arika heads over to the Hamada house to visit the girls.  He chats with Jasmine and starts to flirt and he feels a close attraction to her. 



While miss insane keeps giving him the evil eye.  She had been yelling at him earlier before Jasmine can into the room.

They do seem, Arika and Jasmine, to have an attraction to each other.  Could she be the one for him, and he will stay in Ilsa Paradiso?

Thomasso and Nicole are calling each other on the phone to chat with and their relationship seems to be taking off.  But only one of them will be allowed to marry a girl from IP and stay there with here.  The other has to move with Skylar to MV and finished the restoration of the Lombardi name.   Which one will stay and which one will go is a question without an answer.  For now.


Skylar was on the top deck and looking out over the ocean.  She looked at the new house built on the small island and now up for sale. 





She walked over and looked at the pool, the pool where her husband had died.   She realized she didn’t want to live any longer on the boat she had shared with her lost love.  Every time she looks at the pool she would think of how if she had been home sooner he might not have died. 





The boys don’t swim in it, not since their father has died, and soon they will become young adults.  Would they chose to move out; would she be left here, alone, with her memories? 
She didn’t want that.  The house, that new home, seemed to be beckoning her; she heard it had six bedrooms. 
And don’t forget her plan.  Rubisel would not want her to forget what they had dreamed of.  She could still do it -- and she would.  She had shoved that dream away from her as it had been something they had planned, but she could still follow through with it.  She needed to talk with the twins and let them know; she had never told them about her and their dad’s dream. 
Now, it was time.  In a couple of days they would be having their birthday, and then they would have a talk about their future.  One would find a bride here, marry and have at least one son to carry on the Ichtaca family name along with the Lombardi combined. 
She and the other son will head to MV to complete the rest of the restoration of the Lombardi name.  Which son will it be who leaves with her to Monte Vista?
