Lombardi Name Restored RTJ COMPLETED !

I was going to move the family just as soon as Garth was born, but Dimitri had the wish to master the skill of music and he was at level 8, almost nine.  So, I had him strum away and the family jumped in and took care of the kids and the needed skills for them. 



Chapter Nine:  Moving On


While they are waiting for the house to be ready Taliath learns to walk, talk and read her books.  Normal toddler stuff.
Dimitri has a good start on painting; he is making good money with his painting -- as is Catlin.  He is strumming away at the strings to master up the skill of music.

Garth has the twirl and sparkles and he is now a toddler.

which of course I didn't take photos of as I was focusing on the kids skilling up and Dimitri on his music and Catlin with her painting.  She is either painting or doing magic. 


Then Dimitri master music and it is time to move; the house has been ready and waiting.


The family gets into the cab to head off to their new home.









Riverview has been a nice town to live and raise the kids in.  There has been no strife or problems other than the normal ones of life.  This new town, will it be just as free from problems, or will they face new ones?

Dragon Valley





Introduction
Dragon Valley, a strange place, one that seems locked in time.  The story of the town is that many, many years ago there had been dragons that attacked the town.  Then, a ship showed up in the horizon and a family was onboard.  They had been swept into the area by a freak storm, and they were as strange to the residents of Dragon Valley as the residents were to them.  They found a way to end the dragons attacking the town, which did not set well with some of the residents; they feared that this strange magic would backlash on them someday. 
They brought with them knowledge that seemed magical but wasn’t.  Cell phones that you could talk to a person who was miles away, even in another town.  TV,  computers and other electronics, means of transportation that didn’t require live creatures. 

There were two main families who live in the town, the Mithrilen’s, who fear the dragons, believing that they will return to destroy the town and all who live there.  They were Drow elves, known for their aggressive nature and refusal to change or accept whenever they have lost a battle.
The other family is the O’Connell’s, who came from the foreign place and brought with them the knowledge that had advanced the town and caused the adult dragons to change and become dragon eggs and never age past hatchlings.     


The Mithrilen family was furious and looked upon anyone who agreed with the invading O’Connell family as their enemies.  The new arrivals to the town have them confused and unsure of what to make of them.  They appear to be the same as the O’Connell family, yet they are different.
This family was the Lombardi family, and they were different.  They were familiar with the technology of the usurpers, but they had a different way of doing things, of making things happen.  One could cause fire, just as the red dragon could or even freeze them, but how?  Should they trust this family -- or see them as another enemy? 

And the Dragons?  What about them?



They had left their mark on this town, had they given up on their attacks, or waiting for the right time?

Chapter One:  Arriving in DV

It had been a long flight and they were all tired.  The family has again made a copy of their home to have built, it just seemed right; the house was as much a part of the family as the members were, even if it wasn’t a living, breathing entity. 






Behind the house was a lake and Ragnor would go there and do some fishing.




 He was enjoying his elder years of relaxing and romancing his wife and she enjoyed the romancing also and spending time with the grandkids. 







He went to the park one day and practiced his magic there, casting ice and fire blasts on some of the residents.











Taliath and Garth continued to learn the necessary skills for life; talking, walking, reading skill books and potty training.  Poor Garth unfortunately was stuck to the potty and Grandma had to rescue him.   




Life continued on for the Lombardi family, as they all adapted to the new town and the wishes they had for themselves that needed to be worked on.

Chapter Two:  Birthdays and Meeting Neighbors


Then it was time for them to age up to children.  Taliath has aged up first to child and she started to school then it was time for Garth to age up and go to school.

Meanwhile, Ragnor and Amber continued to enjoy their free time with each other. 
Catlin discovered that she enjoyed cooking so she was doing that while working on her LTW of writing and painting.  Also, of doing her magic; she upgraded the kitchen equipment.








Dimitri jumped right increasing his painting skills. 





Dimitri and Catlin went to the park to meet people; one was a Drow who was friendly, but Dimitri learned that he was, even though a cop, also evil.  Strange combination. 



And Catlin met some others townies





Chapter Three:  Interesting Times

Another visit to the town was the elixir store, where unfortunately Grim paid a visit; the clerk died






Taliath’s teen birthday snuck up on them and they missed it, except for the grandparents.  They were with her in the family room when she celebrated becoming a teenager. 










I think she turned out quite well, a nice looking young lady


Dimitri goes to the library and brings home a couple of eggs he finds in the lower levels.  He and Catlin talk to the eggs, then she decides to walk away just as her egg hatches; a green dragon hatchling.  Dimitri’s egg hatches and it is a red one.  I can’t decide if it was a good thing or a bad thing to let them have one. 












A couple of days later tragedy strikes the family.  Ragnor was at the computer desk when he dies. 










Dimitri and Garth were there with him, when the tragedy struck.   Grim greeted Ragnor, shook hands and then off they went, leaving the family to mourn the loss of Ragnor. 

A sad ending to a long day.

Chapter Four:  Another Birthday and Visitors


The next day was Garth’s teen birthday and it was a sad occasion for him while they ate the cake. 







Time for a quick makeover and then bedtime.

 The next day was a weekend day and Garth wanted to try out his new gift, a car.  Off he goes to visit some of the girls in the neighborhood. 





That night it was a full moon and they had a strange visitor, not sure how she got into the yard.  A zombie decided she wanted to swim and so there she was, on the slide at the pool. 





Amber was missing Ragnor so the deceased family members tombstones were set out.  Ragnor came to visit and Amber and he flirted and even shared a kiss. 




Several of the others visited, Felicity seemed to enjoy visiting often, just to play video games.  Nicoletta stopped by often and enjoyed breakfast with whoever was at the table at that time. 




It was quite interesting to see their reactions to each other, as if they were offended by the sight of another ghost.  The first couple of nights it seemed it was a family get-together, ghosts were coming and going. 









Chapter Five:  The Circle of Life




Meanwhile, Catlin and Dimitri work on their paintings, increasing their skills and Taliath works on her guitar playing, she seems to enjoy it.











Some members of the family went to the park and meet other residents and chatted with them, a couple of hopefuls for future mates maybe?









It was getting late and Dimitri was due to age up that evening, so the family dashes home.  Just as some of them enter the house, Amber dies. 








They are greeted with her changing color and then Grim shows up.  Amber  shook hands with Grim, happy it seems to go and see her hubby, maybe?   Catlin dashes in just as her mother vanishes and the family mourns.




So, a birthday is celebrated amongst tears of sorrow, as Dimitri ages to Adult and they mourn the loss of Amber







Hopefully, there will be no more deaths at birthdays. 


EDITED: didn't realize until I did a check on photos and saw that I had used the same photo of Dimitri painting in two chapters.  He did paint that three times, so I guess you could say that it was luck of the draw to take a photo of him painting the same picture when I took that shot of him painting.

Chapter Six:  Birthdays for All


It was time for the kids to start the trip to becoming adults; but first it was time for Catlin to age up to Adult; it was just a family affair and she became an adult and a few days later, it was time for the kids to take that first step, becoming Young Adults.

Then it was time for the teens to age up


Taliath had her birthday first, or course, and she has some friends over for the party.












 A few were prospective mates.  Kenzie Dolan,  Riordan Mithrlien and Corren Dwyer, who should she pick?  Her traits are Broody, L. of O. Doors, Clumsy, Virtuoso, and Light Sleeper.  Chose Rock Star for her, she is always playing her guitar without being told to, so a good choice for her.  She has enough Reward points to do a change in her traits, but I will wait a bit to do so. 

Garth had a chance to talk to some of the other guests.   No photos though


One in particular was Ayna, who he had meet her a couple of times, once at her home and another time in the park, they had flirted and seemed to like being with each other.   
A couple of other girls he talked with but no reaction like it was with Ayna.     
But a brother and sister from same family?  Ayna and Kenzie Dolan; starting to be a routine. 

It was time to show Taliath with her makeover, I think she turned out quite pretty, so want to share her.

Garth and Taliath kept sneaking and getting their parents dragons, so I gave Taliath a purple one to help with friends, charisma for her career.  Garth I think will need the black one. 






Taliath took the opportunity to visit with some of the men she had meet at her party, one especially she felt an attraction to.




she met his father while there, she didn't like him at all.  His father seemed to be a bit two-faced; he spoke out against the dragons but she had seen him with one secretly when he thought no one was watching.  Hypocrite.  She and Riordan seemed to connect. 





Chapter Seven:  Two More Birthdays


Then it was time for Garth to age up to Young Adult and a party was planned with several of the young girls and men invited with the hopes he could find his mate and Taliath could make a final decision, Kenzie or Riordan?  Which one will it be?

Garth seemed to still have an interest in Ayna Dolan; they kept flirting with each other. 



Riordan was invited to the party, that would be another chance for Taliath to talk with him.

They has some time to chat and get to know each other better, the more she saw of him the more she liked him.




Things were looking good for the kids, Taliath has found someone she wanted to share her life with and Garth was positive that he wanted Ayna to be his wife.  Now they just had to get the knot tied.

Ohh, you have made such progress while I have been on a little hiatus!

So the Lombardis are in Dragon Valley! I recently bought it and love it. Such interesting genetics. Your kids will have some nice choises for spouses.

The interesting genetics will really show up in the next town.  When my heir and the spouse had children, it was interesting to see what was produced.  Not what I had expected. 

At this point, they have had three children and there will be no more.  Seven in the house is more than enough. 

To be honest, I was in shock to see a response to the story, I had begun to wonder if anyone has been reading it.

Chapter Eight:  Weddings


It seemed that Taliath preferred Riordan.  A date with one of the others has one being a thief, so that put him  out of the picture. 



Gigi would have come out of her grave and haunted them, not blessed the marriage!

A couple of days later she invited Riordan over to visit and the connection lead to a first kiss

he says yes

then they were married. 






and sealed with a kiss



First thing first, he needed a makeover, and since he wasn't the heir's mate, I could do some other changes, those eyebrows just had to go!

His father, in anger at being found out that he had secretly owned a dragon, took his family and left DV; leaving Riordan behind to be with Taliath.

which they gave, David happy that they wanted to fulfill Nicoletta's dream.




and it also fulfilled what he wanted; so he and Taliath would be staying in Dragon Valley, which was fine with Taliath.


 The Lombardi goal of restoring the family power fit in with what Riordan wanted.  His family had lost their magical abilities, and thus their power, during the fight with the dragons.   Taliath was a witch and she could make him one also and with his powers restored he could now take charge of the dragons, and they would be controlled and the power would be returned to the Drows.  The Connells would no longer be running the town.  They may have had the ability to keep the dragons hatchlings, but for how long?  With Taliath at his side, both goals would be fulfilled, the restoration of the Lombardi name and their royalty being founded in each town the family visited.   The Drows return of their power which gave them control over the dragons along with their ability to protect the town.

Garth had met and talked with his ancestors and they approved of Ayna.






and so he calls and asks her to come and visit with the goal of asking her to marry him.  She came for a visit and it took a while, but he was able to get her over to the fountain where he wanted to romantically propose to her and marry her.  (Pain in the neck, rear, and frustrating as, add the word missing there.)














The deed was finally done and they were married.

She met with the family ghosts and got along fine with them. 







She looked forward to traveling to other towns; she liked the idea of seeing outside their small village. 

There is joy in the family, not only are both kids now adults and married, but good news to be shared.

It seemed that Riordan and Taliath had been doing more than just making whoopie in their bed, she was going to have a baby!



Plans were made for a home for Riordan and Taliath to move to, it had to fit with their dreams for their future.


NOTE:  I realized after I had moved the family to the next town that I had goofed and made some changes that weren't allowed in the rules, so I went back to an earlier save and played the game.  So, there will be different clothes and hair styles, in the other version.  Amber lived to be part of the move to the next town, but sadly in this one she died earlier.  That was how far back I had to go.

Chapter Nine:  Coming and Going


Riordan and Taliath immediately started on a family,




and she became pregnant.  As a wedding gift the family gave her and Riordan a home that to some extent resembled a keep, or small castle.   




The family said their goodbyes and hugged each other, Taliath was going to miss her parents and brother, but she had a great husband and a child on the way, so she was happy. 












A few days later the Dimitri and Catlin go to visit with Taliath and see her, they like her new home and are glad that she is happy. 




They went to visit her just before they left and was able to see their grandson, who was named for his uncle, Garth.





In the next couple of days they will be heading off to their new town, one more after that to visit.  Then -- the final step of the family’s plan.

The family leaves their home, the place where they had experienced both joy and sorrow, and were looking forward to the next step in the restoration of the Lombardi name. 







The family had wanted to build a copy of their house, but they could not find a piece of property that was the needed size, so they decided to build a copy of Greystone Manor; Catlin and Dimitri has liked what they saw when they visited Taliath and Riordan, so a copy was built, with a few changes. 


So that rounds up the fifth town of the family’s journey.  Just one more town to visit and then off to the final town.  But that town will not be the end of the Lombardi Family Restoration. There is another step in the planning.


NOTE:  The house, Greystone Manor, is a modification of Twinmum's house, Tidy Tudor.  I know they don't look much alike, but I took her house and did some tweeking     Do want to give credit where it is due, the design of Twinmum's home helped me to create the keep that I wanted to build.


When the family gets set up at the new home in the new town, you will get to see better the changes I made in the house.

This introduction/chapter is to let you see the house that I give all credit to Twinmum for the house I used, Tidy Tudor, and for the inspiration I gained from it.  The rooms are bare to some extent as I had not, at the time I took the photos, added anything from the family's inventory, pictures, artifacts and such.



Introduction

The Lombardi family had decided this time to take a slow trip, to enjoy sailing in the ocean and getting a connection to their new town.  It might not be an island, but it does have a close connection to the ocean and they want to get a feeling for that type of environment.  The family’s founders, after all, had come from a town that had a strong connection to the ocean. 

As they approached the pier they could see part of the town, and the first thing they noticed was how different it was from Dragon Valley.  The layout of the town, beaches and even the hills were so different. 
It was exciting but also a bit on the worrisome side for the newly married couple; this was a total new experience for them.  Dimitri and Catlin had lived in Riverview before they had moved to DV with Garth and Taliath, so they were prepared to see a town that would be different from the one they had just moved from.  What they were waiting anxiously to see was their new home, would it meet their expectations? 






Chapter One:  The Start of a New Life

The family arrived at their new town and took a cab to their new home.  They had an idea of what it would look like, but while it would look similar to what Taliath and Riordan were living in, there would be some obvious differences.  The most noticeable is that the back yard looked out on the ocean and had a beautiful view of the surrounding beaches and the lighthouse which was sitting on a small rocky island.

And the view from one balcony was a fitting one for the name of the town.

Sunset Valley

As the taxi drove up to the house, their eyes opened at the sight of their new home








starting at the top, the third floor is three bedrooms with a bath attached and an alchemy room



second floor has a large master bedroom with a double bathroom and fireplace
another large bedroom with bath attached and a smaller bedroom with bath



first floor has on one side a dinning area and kitchen with a bathroom.  The other side has a family room area, relaxing area to sit and read a book in quiet, another area to sit and relax by a fireplace with the nursery an extension in that area.  From there you can go to the study/library that opens onto the back yard.






there is at the entrance to the house a foyer for visitors to sit as they wait to enter the home.

 



The back yard has a large pool, hot tub, sitting area that is raised so they can enjoy a meal while they watch the sunset, or just enjoy the view.  Another area to sit, perhaps meditate in quiet.




The hot tub has is surrounded by trees for privacy in case a couple wants to do more than soak in the water. 

A home that if fitting for a family that has royalty in their bloodlines. 

The family took a quick dip in the pool and they explored the house, and were ready to go to bed and get some rest, the next day's plan -- to visit the town.

Chapter Two:  Fun in the Sun

The next day the family went first to the beach, they wanted to stretch their legs; the ship didn’t have a lot of room to run around on so they decided some fun in the sun was what was needed.
First they tried snorkeling, but not much to see, no bright fish, shells or such to find, maybe another town in the future?







 Next, they all wanted to go windsurfing.  Hey, let’s have a race!  Catlin became confused, however, and went the wrong direction and then was trapped in a small area. 








The others however, dashed away to see who was the fastest and they had fun, but soon it was time to go home. 






The next day the family went to the Central Park to get a chance to get to know the people there.  Catlin decides to practice her magic and sets the ground on fire.









After it is put out, Dimitri chats with Marty Keaton, Ayna with Judy Bunch about families and Catlin with Pauline Wren





It is late and they return home; to find that they had forgotten to install the burglar alarms and there was a robbery in progress.  The police showed up and there was a fight; but the thief got away, with several items. 






Not a good start in a new town, setting the park green on fire, getting robbed—hopefully the next few days ahead will be better. 



The next day Garth and Ayna decide to try out the new hot tub and got a bit carried away in the romantic department. 




They spent the rest of the day doing normal things, Garth working out, Ayna reading skill books and just have some family time.
When morning comes Ayna and Garth decided to check out the beach again.  They had enjoyed the windsurfing, so they wanted to do more.  A good way to relax and have some fun in the sun!










Garth was really enjoying himself, so he traveled quite a distance, but Ayna wasn't feeling to well, so she decided to call it quits and heads on home. 

It has been quite a few hectic days, maybe she was coming down with something.
All she needed was a good night's sleep and she would be fine.

Chapter Three:  A Growing Family

The next day Ayna was again sick and Catlin realized that meant she was going to be a grandmother! 




Yeah, grandbabies to adore and spoil.

Ayna is at the computer desk when she does the baby twirl and get the baby bump, she is so happy, she is going to be a mommy, and Garth, he will be a daddy.




 But, what will the baby look like, will the baby take after her, the green skin, the pointed ears, or have the pointed ears but Garth’s dark hair, or her hair color, Garth skin and his ears, or perhaps  . . . the possibilities were endless and she would just have to wait and see when the baby was born. 

It was just a few days later and she received the answer to the questions.  She goes into labor and everyone around her freaks out. 




She has the twirl and the sparkles and she hold her beautiful son, Tristan, in her arms.  He doesn’t have green skin, but are those pointed ears tucked away in the wrapping?








Ayna decides she doesn’t like the color yellow, it doesn’t go well with her skin, so she decides she want to change her favorite color to black.  (okay, I decided I didn’t like the yellow with her skin color).  The next day after recovering from the birth of Tristan she and Garth decided to have some fun messing up the sheets. 




Garth takes care of his son. 

 


And they go to the beach to have some fun. 





After a swim, they are relaxing when a young blond girl goes by. 




Ayna doesn’t understand it, but she wants to reach out and pull out her braids!  What is wrong with her, to be so touchy?

Later she figures it out -- the romancing she and Garth had enjoyed -- well, she was pregnant again.  She had been lucky to skip the morning sickness, but the baby bump told the tale of her being pregnant.




Garth, he was overjoyed at a new baby and he wanted a girl this time, so she made sure to eat plenty of watermelons, an old wives tale, but it couldn’t hurt to give it a try.
She enjoys the chance to rock with Tristan on her lap, soon her belly will be so big she won’t be able to hold him there. 



The grandparents didn't mind stepping in and taking care of their grandson when needed, in fact they at times were more of a hinderance than help, when they would wake Tristan up just so they could hold him.




And he will become a toddler in another day so it will get either quieter or more hectic in the house.  And an all important question will be answered, are his ears pointed or not?


Then it was time to age up and the all-important question was answered, his ears had points to them. 
It was time for a makeover also.












One thing is for sure, when he is older he will have to have long hair to hide those big ears of his!

Chapter Four:  It’s a Bird, a Plane, no it’s a  ________!

Tristan was still as noisy in letting them all know when he was hungry and tired, but he also was able to amuse himself.   He enjoyed watching tv, although you would have figured it was hard to see with the couch blocking the way, but on well, he didn’t seem to mind.




Everyone of course stepped in to help with the teaching of the normal part of toddler years, reading, walking, talking, potty training.  And of course the grandparents helped in other areas, Catlin with the pegbox and Dimitri with music lessons








Then, it is time for the baby to come and the usual, family freaking out, the glitter and sparkles and then  - - - - -











It’s a girl !  Here is Isabail, a beautiful green baby.  Does she have pointed ears?   It is hard to tell, but one thing is sure, she is a witch, just like her daddy and Grandma.

Chapter Five:  Daddy Get’s a Job

Then it was also time for some important questions, did they have any more kids, when was Garth to start working?   They understood the demands of the family, a child to leave in Sunset Valley as part of the restoration of the Lombardi name, a child who would move to the next town to continue the family commitment, but there was another part that they had discussed before they left Dragon Valley, and to do so would require three children.  They had Tristan and now Isabail, a third one, whether a girl or boy, it didn’t matter would be what was needed for the final aspect of the family commitment. 
It was decided and that night they had some fun messing up the sheets and the next day Garth applied for a job. He was given the job of a snitch, not a very glamorous position, but he would take it. 



Meanwhile, the family enjoys taking care of Izzy




A couple of days later Ayna got the proof of her pregnancy.
 


As with the second one, she had not suffered morning sickness, so it was the baby bump that let her know she was pregnant.

Then it is time for Izzy to age to toddler.

Chapter Six:  Baby Three is Born!

Due to his head start in logic and athletic skills, Garth was soon promoted to desk jockey and it was no time at all before it was time for the baby to be born.  Ayna goes into labor and while Garth was at the computer playing chess,

This time it is Dimitri who freaks out












she was giving birth to their third and maybe last child, a daughter, who she named Skylar.  She didn’t have the green skin, and it was impossible to tell if she had pointed ears. 


Dimitri and Catlin had stepped in and been a big help with the kids, helping out when Ayna had been too tired to take care of the kids, playing with them; Dimitri helping with the music lessons.  And it won't be long before it will be three toddlers!
YIKES !
