Chapter Seven:  Life Time Wishes


Everyone has had a good night sleep, except Ashton,




and heads off to school.  They come home and later on as he heads for bed he runs screaming down the hallway 



he has seen the maid again. 

Ashton gets sick and misses school and is also able to be guided to miss running into the maid; then it is the weekend.  Other than the screaming from the maid, it is an uneventful time.   
It is time to leave for school and fortunately Ashton had a quiet night.  Should have realized it wasn’t going to be that easy.  This time he is scared as he heads to catch the bus and without realizing it he misses the bus due to his running, screaming, down the street.  He returns home but no one realizes until close to time for school to end.  The next day he makes it to school, but the next day, a repeat, he misses the bus for school.

During this time Nicoletta master’s writing and David masters his painting skills, accomplishing his LTW. 




He also fulfills the opportunity of painting five masterpieces.  Nicoletta needs two more books to accomplish a wish of 25 books.  Gigi has climbed fast in her career and Dante is close to accomplishing his goal; so all is going well with the family.
 
Except for Ashton’s fear of the maid.  That has become a royal pain in the neck, and with the Lombardi’s having a claim to royalty, it is an accurate term.   One more night of frustration and a rule will be bent, he isn’t going to be an heir, so he will aged up a couple of days early and be moved out. 

 
Chapter Eight:  Festivals, Aging Up and Grim

While summer is still here the family decides to make a trip to the festival.  Dante and Ashton enter the hot dog eating contest. 




The only thing they win is an upset stomach from eating too much too fast.
Grandma, Dante and Skylar decide to have a water balloon fight; two against Grandma, she must feel it wasn’t fair, she quit after getting soaked twice.

Garrett gets something to eat and then just wanders around. 



Then there is the fun of getting them all home.  Now I remember why I never take kids to the festivals or parks, it is a royal pain to get them home.  One is going to be left, and it was Garrett.  Finally get him home and off to bed they go.  And back to Ashton being scared. 
The next day it is time for Garrett to age up to teen.  They have the party, just family and he does his twirl and there he is. 









He gets his makeover and now it is much easier to tell them apart; Ashton has looked better with longer hair while Garrett looks better with short hair.

The next couple of days are uneventful.  The kids get up, eat breakfast, go to school, come home and do homework, goof off, get ready for bed, Ashton runs from the maid two or three times.  A normal day in the Lombardi household.  Then, Nicoletta goes to fix dinner one evening and a horrible sound is heard.  NO ! ! !   









Grandma has died, and everyone is there, except Dante as he is so focused on writing on his book he doesn’t catch what is going on.  Everyone is crying, and Nicoletta begs for her life, but Grim sends her on her way. 
Then, I don’t know why, maybe to check his e-mail, he heads toward the study and sits down at the computer.   Dante is so focused on his book he doesn't even realize Grim is there.







After a few minutes (sim minutes) he gets up.  Gigi walks into the study and begins to chat with him, he is friendly toward her




and Skylar joins in and chats with him.  Then he just vanishes. 
Life goes on, but it is a sad life.  Skylar is invited to visit the Wolf house after school.  She goes over and plays video





The next day it is time for Skylar to age up.  She does so, but between the cheering for her birthday party there is mourning for their loss.

Then she becomes a teenager and had her makeover.

It has been an eventful and sorrowful few days.

Chapter Nine:  Fall Festival and Grandpa

It is Trick or Treat time and the family decides to head to the festival grounds; they need to get away from the memories of their loss. 

Skylar decides to stay home, she is not fond of the outdoors and so wouldn't enjoy herself.

Ashton and David join in the pie eating contest.  Ashton won the contest and David won an upset stomach.

They all decide to check out the haunted house; several times.  I guess one time was too many as David comes running out screaming





and Dante and Garrett come out as ghosts. 




They decide it is time to head home, Gigi is going for one more trip in the haunted house.  She should have stayed out of it; she shows up at the house as a ghost. 




The next evening David goes outside to paint and Garrett sits down to play video games.  Then a horrible sound is heard and another tragedy strikes the family.





David has died while painting. 




David goes over to Grim and shakes his hand, perhaps he is glad to go so he can be with the woman who owns his heart, he hasn’t stopped mourning her loss. 





Grim sends David on to meet up with Nicoletta (that is what I like to think, anyhow)



and he heads inside again.  Garrett is so involved in his playing that he hasn’t realized that Grandpa is dead or that Grim just walked, floated, glided (?) right past him.     




 Off to the study he goes to check something out, not sure what that site is -- the dating site?   




Grim gets up and then just vanishes.   



Chapter Ten:  Garrett Becomes a Young Adult

Life goes on and Garrett and Skylar have been meeting more kids at school.
It was Garrett’s birthday coming up, the Hoppcrafts had moved out, and they had missed meeting the kids from the MacDuff family, also six kids.  So it was only family at Garrett’s birthday party. 







He gets the trait of Gatherer and out of all the LTW, Jack of all Trades is the best.   Then it is time for his makeover, no hair?  How did that happen?  Nope, gotta give the guy some hair on that head. 




Some men are sexy as all get out (Patrick Stewart, hot) with bald heads, but Garrett won’t fit into that category.

He is staying for a while even though it was decided that Skylar was to be the new  heir.   He is fun to watch and he can work on his skills during the period waiting for Skylar to age up.  Skylar goes to visit the MacDuff home and meets Joe and a couple of the other kids.  (forgot to get photos)

She and Joe have a good chat; he is in the military just like her mom is, so they chat about his work. 

She will soon have another chance to talk to him as someone else (besides her) has a birthday coming up.

Oh, I love the nose of your kids! And I love Ashton's antiques. I am going to miss him, but I understand if you aren't.

Maybe Grimmie has to update his records after each sim he has taken. Or maybe he writes a blog about the deaths. Anyway, it's funny that he repeatedly uses the computer.

I'm going to miss Ashton, and sometimes I wish I had waited until he had enough points to do a mid-life crisis.  But I don't want to give up Boney and he just couldn't handle her.  And it was going to be a while as he didn't accomplish as many wishes as the other two did, or ones that had a lot of value. 

Falls was a bad time for him.  He wanted to rake leaves but every time he went out she would show up, then he runs screaming inside or down the street.  Get him back and send him inside and she comes in to do something and out he goes running into the night.  They aren't real, but yet I still feel as if they are in a way. 
Such as giving him a nice home to move into, same with Garrett; they wouldn't care if it was a shack with an outhouse, but I do.

Update:

I checked to see what would have happened if I hadn't moved Garrett out.  I was surprised at what unfolded, so he doesn't move out and life takes a different road.

Chapter Eleven:  Birthdays ! ! !

A couple of days later Garrett showed an interest in cooking so he fixes a meal.





 He didn’t burn it, unlike his parents who burned food every time they tried to cook.  He went through a midlife crisis, imagine that, a young man going through a midlife crisis, but I guess it happens.  He changed to Love of Outdoors, Friendly, Natural Cook, Gatherer and Disciplined.  Due to his interest in cooking he took a cooking class, read a skill book and then took a job as a cook at the Bistro. 


Then it was time for Gigi’s birthday.  She and Dante had been able to delay aging up to adult but it was time.  She invited friends from work, Joe MacDuff (playing matchmaker here) and a couple of others.













 Had some party crashers, the Wolfs came and made a spectacle of themselves clawing at the furniture and eating like pigs, not like wolves (that is why I don’t like weres).  I hope three times is a charm; Gaston Farmwell, who was a co-worker of Gigi in the military, came and when he left,






it was with Grim. 



What a way to leave a party.  It was seen as a mild success, I expected it to be a failure.   

For Skylar, it was also a success




Skylar has a chance to chat with Joe and learn he was still single and their relationship was increasing. 


And Grim didn't stay to get on the computer, maybe he does so only with the family members?

Gigi’s makeover was just a change in hair styling. 





Two days later it was time for Dante to age up to Adult




and surprise, also time for Skylar to age up, she to YA















Joe was invited to the party along with some others and she and Dante’s party was seen as epic. 


It was time for Skylar to get her makeover.  She got a new hair style and a new wardrobe.

Now she could focus on a romantic relationship that hopefully would result in a wedding.

Chapter Twelve:  A Wedding

Skylar went to hunt down Joe and work on that relationship with him. She went to the park to get some alchemy plants




 and ran into Joe there. 





They chatted and flirted some and then he left and she headed home.  The next day she called and invited him over. 




After more romancing and more kissing she invited him to spend the night. 

The next morning in the study




she asks him if he wants to go steady and he said yes. 

She put on a special gown and calls for him to join her

and there, by the flowers and fountains, she asked him to marry her.



 
 He said yes and they were married there in the small garden setting.  Not like her parents and grandparents, but close.

A day before Skylar and Joe met at the park,
   

Garrett went to the park to see if he could find Fiona.   Fiona wasn’t there but her other sisters were and one of them was Felicity.



He felt drawn to her and went to introduced himself.  It was as if he had been hit by cupid’s arrows, He had eyes only for her.   He could have sworn that he saw hearts and sparkles in the air. 

He chats, ummm well, flirts for a bit and had to dash off for work. 




He had learned from his chatting with Felicity that Fiona despises Joe because he has no magical powers.  Fiona, Felicity, Faith and Jonathan are all witches, along with their father.  Their mother and Joe were the only ones who weren’t.  He quits his job as he works evenings and she works days, she is more important.   He can work later on in life; as long as he can cook and be with Felicity that is all that matters.  He goes to her house and they have some time together.

Fiona is there and ignores him and plays video games, so much for her romantic interest in him.
The next day he calls and invites her out, they meet at the Bistro and have dinner -- it was wonderful.   






They had their first kiss.

And he asks her to go steady with him




She has to leave so the next day he asks her to meet him there; they had a hot date





but he forgot it was a full moon. 
So his plans were interrupted by zombies







and they both headed home.   

Two strikes, he is hoping the third time is a home run instead of striking out


A bit of information on Joe who also happens to be in the photo.  I had to go to an earlier save and I was trying to work on Joe and Skylar's romance while I was working on Garrett's and Felicity.  It worked out that Joe and Skylar were married the same day I was able to get Garrett and Felicity married.  As for the difference in clothes, she changed clothes while they were there.  I haven't the faintest idea why, she did it in the first date also.

Chapter Thirteen:  Third Times the Charm

It is the weekend and he asks her to meet him at the Bistro again.   She comes running from an exercise class and he doesn’t care; they have a meal and she blows some steam and fire, literally, from her ears and mouth. 




He gets up the nerve and drops to one knee; her eyes widen, he pulls out the box and shows her a ring, will she marry him?  The answer is yes and they don’t want to wait, they have the ceremony right there. 













Finally, they were able to get married. 




Chapter Fourteen:  The Future


   
A couple of days later, Dante and Gigi gather with Garrett and Felicity in the kitchen to have a serious discussion.





David and Nicoletta had dreamed of restoring the family name of Lombardi.  To honor his parents, Dante wanted to move to another town with one of his children to carry on the family line.  This tradition would continue with each family for the remaining five towns.  One of them, with their spouse, would stay in Moonlight Falls to continue the name here.  It would no longer be the name of Van Gould and Wolff who were seen as a force in the town, but the Lombardi name. 


 Now, it must be decided; who was to stay and who was to go? 


Dante and Gigi had overcome her past and the shame of her father to make the name of Lombardi be seen as an honorable name. 
It was time to move on to another town to bring recognition of the name of Lombardi.  They wanted to know, would Garrett be willing to take on the role as heir, to move to another town and know he was to carry on the restoration of the family name?
Felicity and Garrett has some questions and they weren’t too happy with what they had been told.




They needed some time to think this over, this was not an easy decision to make.

They went outside to talk about what they had been told, what they wanted to do.







Skylar and Joe had the same discussion with her parents while they were outside talking about they had been told.  Then they went outside also to discuss what to do, stay or go?



Each couple looked at what they wanted, what was important to them.

They spent the night sleeping on it, this was a decision not to be made lightly.


The next day, as they all relaxed in the hot tub, they discussed the decisions of the two couples. 



Who was the be the heir, the couple who had decided to go with Dante and Gigi to the next town?

OMG you are going to do the second move already! You really are on a roll with your challenge.

I don't have a favourite for the heir, so I just have to wait and see who gets to move.

Chapter Fifthteen: Life Changing Events

As they all relaxed in the hot tub, they discussed the decisions of the two couples.  Who was to be the new heir?  Who was to go and who was to stay?
Skylar and Joe wanted to stay and have a family there.  Fortunately, Garrett and Felicity chose to leave with their parents to the new town.


   Plans were put into place, arrangements began to get ready to leave and a search for a new place to live while Joe and Felicity continued with their careers. 



Dante said it would be a while before the new house was ready, so Garrett and Felicity decided they wanted to start on the next generation before they moved to the new town.




 The next day, she became sick and knew she was pregnant.  YEAH!

As usual, off with pay and Gigi decided to also retire.  Both worked on their martial art skills

Then it was no time till she was in labor, the baby was coming!  There was shouting (from Garrett)

During this time Joe and Skylar had to gone to visit with Gizetta so they missed out on the baby being born.  They were thrilled to learn that they had a niece.  Then Felicity became sick again, pregnant so soon!  While waiting for the next bundle of joy to be born, Karita had a birthday and become a toddler. 









She quickly learned how to use the potty chair, and started on learning to walk and talk with all the adults around to teach her. 








Then, Felicity was in labor again




It was Dante this time who freaked out


then the glitter and sparkles




 and this time,





it was a boy, Ragnor was his name. 





Hummm, seems he decided to take after his father, one of his traits is insane.  Well, insanity does run in families, so it shouldn’t be a surprise.  Wonder if he will be as entertaining as his father had been. 


Shorty after Ragnor’s birth they heard a noise that they had become familiar with.




 They looked out the window and there was Grim.  The maid, instead of going home had decided to swim in the pool.  He didn’t pay attention and suffered from sunburns serious enough to cause him to die.  Grim collected him and then went on his way. 



Dante received a phone call






The new house was ready to be moved into.  Skylar and Joe had returned from their trip to MV and shared some news with the family.   Gigi knew that her father had died, something connected to his criminal life. She was sorry to hear of his death, but she had a new family so she had focused on them.
It seemed that there was more to the story than what she had been told.  Gigi’s father had had a run in with Carlo and there had been a battle between the two master criminals and the police.  Giacoma was killed in the battle, and Carlo had died later from injuries.  There had been anger on both sides, and talk of a vendetta, Carlo’s daughters fled in fear for their lives. 

It seemed that Gigi's brother had learned where one was living.  The new town they were heading to.  Gigi’s brother asked that they call him as soon as they could; he had some information that he needed to share.   The phone call would have to wait till after they had settled into their new home.  It wouldn't change the fact that they were going to move there. 

Skylar and Joe shared the info that she was pregnant, so the next generation of Lombardi was a guarantee for the town of MF. 
Even though they wanted to be there for the birth of their third grandchild, Dante and Gigi knew reservations had been made and it was time to go.  Goodbyes where given and promises to keep in touch, phone calls and the internet, they could send pictures and chat with each other.

And the family got into the cab to leave to their new home.






Skylar and Joe watched sadly as the family left to go to their new home. They had a new life ahead for them, but they will still miss the others. 





Both families had a new life ahead for them, Joe and Skylar with a baby one the way and the continuation of restoring the Lombardi name.


Dante and Gigi, with the next two generations of Lombardi's; Garrett and Felicity, Karita and Ragnor, heading toward an uncertain future.

What troubles would they find in their new home with enemies from the past waiting there?

Would the fighting continue or would they find a way to make peace?

Final Chapter of Moonlight Falls

The Lombardi family left the place they had called home for many years, then headed off to a new town. Dante and Gigi had lived in a town of sun and warm waters, olive trees, pizzeria and ancient history all around them.






In Moonlight Falls, they has seen that what was known as the “creatures of the dark” coming out into the light to let others know they existed and not to be feared.




Now, they were going to a land that was cold and dark, hot and light.   Would they like it there?  Only time would tell; but they needed to go or they would miss their plane.

The Dawn of a New Beginning


As the plane circled to land they had their first glimpse of their new homeland.  There were waterfalls everywhere and the beaches, the sand looked black, not golden brown like in Moonlight Falls.  There seemed to be bodies of water, lakes, ponds, that had steam rising up from them. 









Aurora Skies -- that was the name of their new home.   



Chapter One:  The Past, the Present and the Future


The stepped off the plane and got into their cab and headed to their new home.

They stood in front of their new house and were given a happy surprise. Dante and Gigi knew how much they had all loved their home and the sorrow of leaving it behind;





so they had a copy built here for them. 


As they stood looking at the house, the realized they no longer saw hills and the river close by.  They walked out onto the deck and looked out;





they could see water and it seemed to never end.  To the one side was more water




On the other side, they could see the coastline, with some houses sitting out all alone.  They looked so lonely there, just a couple of homes on land, no trees or hills in the background. 




Once they were settled in Gigi gave her brother a call and then talked with her nephew.  The news he had to share was not good but not as bad as she had feared.  One of Carlo’s daughters, Norma, had moved to AS, thinking that it was as opposite as MV she could get and felt safe.
However, her mind had been affected by what had happened to her family.  She became neurotic and had begun to believe the Taylor family was after her, they wanted to kill all of the members of Carlo’s family.
To make matters worse, her husband had died from an accident that she believe was really murder.  She was left with a son who she raised with the belief that his life was in danger and to not trust anyone.
The tragedy continued for her family, her son and his wife were killed in a boating accident.  She told her grandson, Gunnar Hannes of how members of the Taylor family had killed his grandfather and parents and they wanted him dead also. 
Gigi’s nephew had gone there on business and run into her with the boy.   She created a scene, screaming that he was from a family of murderers’ and she would not let him kill her or her grandson.  Gigi’s nephew looked a lot like his grandfather so it was easy to see why she had mistaken him for Giacoma. 
Norma was now dead, but the grandson would be an adult now, maybe even married, so they needed to keep an eye out for him. 

The Lombardi family had been pulled into the crime world even though they were not part of it, just because of who Gigi’s father was.  But, that did  not mean they had to continue the bitter battle between the two families.  They could and would do their best to end this feud before it got out of hand.  They weren’t sure of  how, but they would find a way.

I am ending it here because I know I took some photos of the first meeting with the Hannes family, but must have deleted them when I was deleting some photos.  I will need to play again and get the photos needed to go with the story I have planned. 
On the bright side, you get an idea of what I will focus this town on and hopefully the Lombardi family will cooperate and give me what I need to create the story.

Chapter Two:  Meeting the Enemy


Felicity and Garrett wanted to get out of the house before she went back to work and decided to check out one of the parks.  She ran into a woman whose name was Astrid, she and her husband, Gunnar were there taking a break from their triplets.




 Felicity and Astrid talked some while Garrett talked to her husband for a while. 








A man came over and started to chat with Astrid and Felicity glanced around.  She saw a woman who was sitting on a bench looking quite sad, so she decided to cheer up.   She called her over and cast a good luck charm on her. 




Astrid had finished talking with the other person and she decided to cast a good luck charm on her also.   At first Astrid wasn’t sure what was happening, she pulled back in fear, probably expecting to have something nasty happen to her





but she was delighted to realize it was good luck, not bad luck she had received from Felicity.
 It was getting late so she and Garrett headed back to their new home.  It was later that he realized he hadn’t asked the man his name but Felicity told him it was Gunnar.  They had met and talked to the man who could be a danger to their family, but he seemed like a nice man, maybe it wouldn’t be as bad as they had all feared.

Felicity went back to work and two days after work she came home excited, she had received a promotion. 

The next day Ragnor decided to age up to toddler














The next day, Karita aged up to child and everyone kept getting in each other’s way and so she missed out on blowing out the candles. 









During this time Gigi and Dante talked about what to do with the Hannes family.  No matter what, Gigi’s father was family and they didn’t want to have to constantly be on guard from someone who might seek to harm them.
They matter came to a head the next day.  Dante went to the park to get out of the house and he ran into Gunnar Hannes, at first they talked fine.





But then Dante mentioned that he and his wife were originally from Monte Vista and that set Gunner off. 




He started to yell at Dante telling him that he had never believed his grandmother of her ranting that there was a vendetta on her family.  But now he believed her; why would someone from MV come there except to harm him and his family. 





Dante was angry also





And they both stormed off.  Dante angry that any chance to bring peace may have been destroyed accidently.

Life went on in the family, Ragnor had to learn to talk

As for the situation with Gunnar, things didn't get better.  Dante had to go to the court house and ran into Gunnar there -- it wasn't a happy meeting.

Dante heads toward to the tavern, he doesn't want to go home mad; he should have headed on home.


Dante is dancing to relieve some stress and Gunnar comes in



Dante tried to keep it calm





But it doesn't work and it gest ugly real soon









Others at the tavern were shocked at their angry behavior




Dante heads home not sure of what is going to happen.  Is there any way to bring peace to both of their families?  Why should his family have to pay for what his wife's father did?

They were all at a loss of what to do next.

Chapter Three:  The More the Merrier

It seemed that this feud wasn’t going to end in any easy way.  What would it take to get it to end in peace instead of all-out war?
 Meanwhile, Karita had started to school and it became noticeable that I had the traits mixed up.  She wore her swim suit to school and was sleeping in her formal dress.  Seems she had the insane trait, not her brother. 


All was quiet for the Lombardi family, concerning the feud; but in another area, it wasn’t so quiet.  The computer broke down and a repairman was called in to fix it.  It was also a full moon so the zombies were out. 
One decided to die on the grounds and Grim showed up. 










They shook hands and he dived into his headstone; then Grim decided to pay a visit. 






The poor repairman was scared when he saw Grim but then they chatted about the broken computer and Grim left.





Ragnor’s birthday came up and they had a party for him, just family and the maid attended.  It seemed as if it was only yesterday he became a toddler, and now it was time for him to age up to child. 






He did his twirl and he was now a child. 






And, his traits came up and it was time to get them straightened out.  Karita has the traits of insane, love of outdoors and good.  Ragnor traits were absent-minded, friendly and angler.  He wasn’t a witch, but I am sure he would want to be one, so an elixir was set aside to be given to him on his teen birthday so he could become a witch.   Both kids were in school and doing well.

Garrett and Felicity both kept in touch with Astrid and Gunnar. They were hoping that they could become good friends and thus heal the hurt between the two families.  There was also a way to perhaps end the feud, if things would work out right. 
Then, it was the time for the Karita to age up to teen. 








She had only the family, she hadn’t meet enough kids to invite to the party, hopefully that will change for Ragnor as I would like for him to meet Amber Hannes.

She did a makeover and the next day it was time for the grandparents to age up.  As the saying goes, the more the merrier, so the more the birthdays the merrier it would be, at least in hopes of the two families in their feuding. 

Dante went first











And then it was time for Gigi to become an elder









Garrett has returned to work and is kept busy with his job and Felicity has received another promotion, she is now a wingman.  It won’t be long before she obtains her LTW.

Felicity had continued talking to her new friend, Astrid.  She and Astrid realized that their two families were the ones who had the problem, and they were hoping they could find a way to resolve the problem, bring about peace to both families.  Felicity talked to Gigi, knowing that she didn’t have any hard feelings toward Carlo’s family, and she also wanted peace, not war between the two different families.  It was ironic that she had done everything she could to distance herself from her family, to have no connections to her father and his life style and now she was thrown in the middle of it and seen as the “bad guy” because of what he had done.


They had to find a way; stupid traditions, to have a squabble and let it continue for years.  They were not the Hatfields' and the MacCoys' and if she could help it, the hard feelings and fear was going to end in peace, not bloodshed.

Belated congratulations on the new generation and on the move! I have been very busy lately and have not had time to read any stories on the forum, but now I finally have time to catch up.

I am curious to see how the feud will be settled. I guess Ragnor and Amber will play an important role there.

The Grimmie must have been disappointed for not being able to update his blog of deaths because of the broken computer. It's funny how the Grim in your game is so obsessed with the computer.

Poor Grim, 
What made it funny to me was that after he had the image of a broken computer over his head he had the one of rain clouds, and then the repairman had one show up of sun with the clouds.
Grim was there for a bit longer and then vanished. 

Hopefully tomorrow I will be posting the next chapter, I have two more scenes to set up and then I can post it, if they cooperate for me, that is.  Sims can be stubborn in doing what is needed for a story,  .  Especially when I have a member in each family working evenings.  With Astrid and Garrett working in the evenings, and Felicity working in the daytime it can make it hard to get things set up.  And a nightmare for when their birthdays come up.

Chapter Four:  The Healing Begins

It was time to start the healing; chatting and visits first.  Felicity had already visited with Astrid to talk about the problem and Garrett chatted with Gunnar on the phone. 


Garrett and Felicity stop by one evening after she gets off work and chat with Gunnar and Astrid.  It helps for Gunnar to see that a member of the Lombardi family is in the military, a worthy career. 




At different times Garrett, Felicity and Gigi stop by to chat with the Hannes; Garrett chats with Gunnar and the girls with Astrid.   
A lucky meeting helps when Dante stopped at the gym and runs into Gunnar there; it is helpful to the healing.  Gunnar starts to see the Lombardi’s in a different light.




With Dante now being an elder, Gunnar controlled his temper and in the chatting he realized that he and Dante has a common interest, writing; he had forgotten that.     

It became time for Ragnor’s birthday and none of the kids had met with the Hannes kids, so there was no chance to invite them to the party.  It was just a family affair but it went nice; although I was surprised to see that Ragnor has some extra weight on him.  I guess he took after his mom that way, she seemed to do the yo-yo of her weight. 











With his makeover  (I'm going to show only the clothes I don't think will be seen in the story)





The maid decided she has a sweet tooth and she got a piece of cake also





The next day he meets Amber at school and decides he wants to get to know her better.  Gigi needed to get out of the house, so she and Felicity head off to visit Astrid.  Unfortunately the Hannes weren’t home but they saw the kids at one of the beaches.  So, they decided to go and chat with them.  Felicity chatted with Amber and then cast a good luck charm on her. 






The next day Felicity went to Astrid’s home to chat with her and to state that she and Gigi have a solution to the problem. 




 She feels also it would be a good idea for the kids to meet Gunnar, he wouldn’t hold it against the kids; they weren’t adults so he couldn’t blame them – yet. 
Ragnor was thrilled with the idea of having a chance to meet and chat with Amber, so he goes over to her house to chat with Amber as Felicity goes to chat again with Astrid. 
He talks to Gunnar for a few minutes,





He then goes over to talk to Amber.  She is watching TV and he joins with her.  His mom had left and Amber’s parents has also left, so he was there with her and her brothers, who were busy elsewhere.




 He asks her if she wants to cuddle, and she says yes. They cuddled on the couch watching of all things the romance channel. 





Then it was time to go home, it was getting late.

Karita goes over for a visit a couple of days later and she and Alex chat but no connection, both parents were gone.




It is a good start, the kids are friendly toward each other, especially Ragnor and Amber and although Karita and Alex felt okay with each other, there weren't any connection between them.  She has yet to meet with Adrian, so maybe those two will become more than friends.
