Lombardi Name Restored RTJ COMPLETED !

That is one reason why I have been leaning toward him.  With the Taylor family I stayed with them and picked the name of the triplets and one of their traits.  Gigi has some nice traits. Dante isn't bad looking and he can stay home and take care of the kids while she works.  He is already getting a good price for his books, his first one brought in $40 and was a hit, not bad. 

Gizetta is prettier and has a head start on her career and Lydell (found the correct spelling of his name) and his traits are brave, good, excitable and I found the fourth is vegetarian.  He has blond hair and is nice looking.  But I don't know what his last trait will be and what his LTW will be. 
Even though I seeded his family, I just got the mother pregnant and then left them, didn't even know she had triplets until after I had started the game with the Lombardi family.   
So it is a toss-up on who will be the heir.

I am really starting to wonder if IP  has something to do with my problems, I have never had trouble with my games until I installed that expansion pack.

There will be some things in the remaining chapter that may not jive as I have been having trouble saving for some reason.  I am stuck on 4.7 save, even though I have played up to a 5.1 save.  I have the photos and can do the story, but some aspects, such as David and Nicoletta's aging up can't be shown due to the glitch.

Chapter Eight:  Get Me to the Park on Time

Dante is in the plaza one day and sit besides Gigi to talk some.  They really hit it off and he has a good time chatting with her.





Dante invites Gigi over for a visit, he has met Tammy, she is nice, Jodie, she isn’t.  Dontina is okay, but she just doesn’t make him feel the way Gigi does.


He and Gigi spend some time talking and he kisses her, she enjoys the kiss and they share another one. 




He asks her if she would like to go steady with him and she says yes. 




She also agrees to spend the night, which works out perfect.
He had talked to both of his parents the day before and asked them about their wedding, no kid pays attention when his parents discusses such events.  He wanted a nice wedding also, but not something fancy.







He decides to follow their example and asks Gigi for a date at Moonlight Park.  In front of the fountain he does some romancing



just like his mom had asked his dad, he asks Gigi to marry him







and she says yes, and right there they have a private wedding.

Back home they go, Gigi wants to get out of the hot top she is wearing, and not just so they can mess up the sheets, but a sweater in the summer?




They have some fun and then it is time for a makeover, she likes the color brown, and that works out good with his favorite color of orange.

Her life time wish is for the military, but she needs to get some skills up.  Since they don’t have to worry about money, she is going to take the time to work on her skills in logic, athletic and handiness. 
Meanwhile David is driving everyone nuts playing his guitar all hours of the day and night.  And he really seems to be getting into it.





Nicoletta finally got fed up and took away his guitar and hid it in the family inventory (he was driving me nuts waking everyone up and their screaming because of the loud noise)

While Dante and Gigi are settling into the role of married couple, Gizetta was talking to Lydell on the phone a lot, to keep their relationship up.  He had three more days before he ages to YA and they could get serious

My plans had been to have a quick romance, have them go somewhere nice, not the park, but somewhere and have them get married.
Due to the saving problems, I didn't want to take a chance, so I had them do a quick wedding.  Saved it, then continued to play.
Here is where it really went downhill.  For some reason all of the boxes stayed highlighted and I could see Lydell on the side, but couldn't control him.  So, had the others move out, leaving him and Gizetta at the house.  They moved out, I had them as the main family, but instead of just them showing up in the boxes, it was of Lydell and Gizetta yet I couldn't see them or control them. But I could control the other family members, even though they didn't show up.
So, went to where I had fortunately saved them and moved them to the next town. 
What was missed was that in earlier saves, David and Nicoletta had aged up to elder.  He had painted some beautiful paintings and was one level from mastering that skill and Nicoletta had written a best seller and a couple of hits that brought in good money.  Dante has written several books that were hits and Gigi had raised her skills in logic to level four, had a three in athletics, had enough points to get the steel bladder and I lost it all. 

So, they start in their new home in the next posting.

I'm sorry to hear that you have so much trouble with your game. I don't have IP yet, so I have no idea if it it's th cause of your problems. I do hope you find a solution
to the saves problem.

Gigi looks very nice. She must have inherited a lot of her features from Giacomo, since she looks nothing like my Taylor kids.

I had decided on Dante and Gigi, but had wanted to leave Gizetta and Lydell behind with her pregnant, maybe go back and play them with the kids at some later date.

I probably can, I somehow lost the saves from 4.5 to when I left, but it wasn't a big loss, especially with the problems I had been having.

They are now moved to their new home.  I have had three saves and so far no problems.  If it keeps up, I am going to uninstall IP and see if that fixes the problem.

It is so ironic the town that I had rolled for them to visit, I hope things work out better for them there.

Final Chapter of Monte Vista:  Moving on

It was time for the family to move on.  Gizetta decided to move with them and then return to Monte Vista, she wanted to help them get settled in, but she also wants to restore the Lombardi name in MV.

They have moved into a copy of their old home, but wanted a break with the past, so they moved to a new home as soon as possible and Gizetta went back to MV.

And so they settle down into their new home, David and Nicoletta relaxing on the bed in their new bedroom to discuss plans for their life in Moonlight Falls while Dante and Gigi do the same in their bedroom, relax and make the plans to start having a family.


The next morning, they talked of their plans for the day; the ladies knew that they wanted to explore the new town.  The men, they were going go do somethings around the house.  Yep, I have an idea of what that is.




Moonlight Falls, it seems to be a beautiful place.  Totally different from Monte Vista.  Many would see it as dark, dreay and depressing, but they find the difference appealing and are looking forward to living in their new home and making new friends.
And who knows, maybe Dante and Gigi will have some little burritos soon.

Forgot to add.  The house that the Lombardi's moved into, I'm not sure where I got it from, a remodel of a game home, or one that I got from the SwapShop and have changed it so much I can't tell where it came from.
So, if someone sees something that has them thinking, that looks similar to what so and so made, please let me know and I can give them the credit.  Basically, I am just going to go with I am not claiming this house as one that I created.

Chapter One:  New Home, New Beginning, New Life

Dante and Gigi are looking forward to a new life in their new home.  She has a chance for a new beginning.  No one here knows her father was a criminal, so she doesn’t have to pretend she isn’t ashamed of what he does for a living. 
She explores the town, visits the bookstore and chats with a Ms. Singh




She buys some books, she and Dante want to start a family and she will need some books to read to the baby. 
She also wants to learn to cook and  she  need to get some groceries, can’t fix a meal without food.



She meet another resident of the town and chats with him




Nicoletta had visited the elixir store in MV and she learned there was one there in MF, so she decides to visit it and check it out. 




David prefers to check out the pool in the backyard and Dante joins him.








 David knows he will need to go shopping to get the exercise equipment, but for now, he will enjoy the pool. 

Dante has looked around the property and realizes it needs some landscaping, perhaps he can do that in his spare time, he enjoys writing books, but he will need to take breaks and it will be good exercise for him. 





Nicoletta comes home with the news that she found an alchemy garden in this town, so they will be able to find the ingredients for the elixirs she is planning to make. 




She has decided to take up making elixirs for the fun of it.

Gigi also comes home with info about some interesting sites in the town.   There is a place called the Vault of Antiquity that you can visit and answer questions, you might get a prize if you answers the questions right.  You can also take alchemy classes there. 

It has been a long day and they all decide to go to bed, Dante and Gigi decide they want to have some fun in the bed and start working on making a baby.  They are ready to be parents now.







The next day Nicoletta goes to the Vault of Antiquity, she wants to take an alchemy class there and learn how to make elixirs.




Before Nicoletta leave to check out the Vault of Antiquity, Gigi becomes sick, she is queasy and has to rush to the bathroom to throw up.  Nicoletta told her that it was a sign that she was pregnant, Yeah, a baby will soon join the family. 




Chapter Two:  The Third Generation is Born

It seems as if time has flown by and Gigi does the twirl into her maternity clothes. 



At a meal they discuss the joys of the upcoming baby



She has to go to the elixir store one day and catches a butterfly!



It seems as if no time has passed. 

And then, she goes into labor, the baby is coming!




It was an eventful day.  She goes into labor in the kitchen and freaks everyone out. 

She decides to move to the family room and let the rest have their breakfast so she can have the baby in peace and quiet (sorta quiet).





Then, the alarm goes off and instead of continuing to give birth she goes to check it out, the stove is on fire and everyone is standing there yelling and doing nothing.




Here she is, in labor and everyone else is dancing around. 

What happens?  She ends up being the one putting out a fire. 




Then the baby decides it wants out, and it doesn't care it is near a burnt stove.




and then the little type joins the world. 




It is a boy and he is named Ashton, with traits of Disciplined and Easily Impressed.




Probably because his mom kept her cool while giving birth to him and was able to put out a fire the rest of the family couldn’t seem to do.

The next few days are uneventful, Ashton is a quiet little burrito; he sleeps, drinks his bottle, fills a diaper, gets played with by the family members and sleeps some more. 






Meanwhile, Dante and Gigi decide they want to have another baby, maybe a girl this time.  So, they do the hard work of making a baby.




And do the waiting to see if they get the girl they want.

Way to go, Gigi! Putting out a fire and giving birth simultaneously is quite a feat!

Chapter Three:  New Addition to the Family



Gigi is pregnant with the second baby




and Ashton has ages up to become a toddler.

He is a happy kid, is able to amuse himself by reading books and playing with the educational toys.  Mom works on the areas of potty training, teaching him to walk and talk. 







During all the teaching, she goes into labor to have the second baby.




David of course freaks out and Dante just ignores it

They had forgotten due to other events to eat mainly watermelons, so the gender wasn’t known until the baby was born.

meet Garrett, who had the traits of Loves the Outdoors and Insane.   Men should someday be able to have a baby, then they would know what it was like. 




David continues to paint, he is inspired by his memories of MV and what he sees in his imagination and several of his painting have received the label of being brilliant.

David paints another portrait of Nicoletta, she looks as if she swallowed a sour grape.  (I'll have to show it later, thought I had a photo of it)

It was finished in time because the next day everyone decides they want to age up.

Dante had to rush from watching Garrett age to toddler to run outside to watch his dad age to elder.  So he was able to only see part of his son's aging up.  But this was David's last time and he hadn't wanted him to do his final one alone.  And Gigi felt the same about Nicoletta.

After all the excitement of all three aging up, everyone else was tired.  David and Nicoletta decided to do their makeover in the morning.  And Garrett's was set aside to be taken care of later.

The next day, while Nicoletta and David are having their makeovers,

 Gigi and Dante discuss having a third child.  They had wanted a girl and they both still want to have three kids, so they try again for the third child. Ensuring that this one will be a girl by stocking up on watermelons.

This up and coming baby will make seven, there is enough room for one more.  For right now though, Seven is Enough.
 
Wasn't the name of the show Eight is Enough?  Just pretend it was seven.

Chapter Four:  It's a Girl! (Finally)

In just a few days, Gigi does the twirl for the baby bump.   




and while Dante worked with him on talking she continues to work with Ashton on walking

and chatted with him





While he and Ashton were reading books, Gigi went into labor. 













Everyone of course has to freak out except the kids; they ignored what was going on.  Then there she was, their little Skylar.  Not much to see, a pink burrito who immediately began to scream, she wanted her bottle.  Then it became a madhouse and stayed that way. 

And it was realized during that time that Garrett hadn’t gotten his makeover. 

So that had to be taken care of.

It seemed that while one wanted a bottle, the other was tired and needed to take a nap and the other needed to finish learning to walk and talk.  And somewhere in between it all, someone needed to be cleaned up (have a diaper change).

Chapter Five:  Two to Growing Up


It continued to be a madhouse, it was time for Ashton to age up to child and he was hungry and tired.   Everyone else decided they wanted to eat, take a shower or go swim when it was time for his party.  They had to all be herded inside so they could watch him blow out the candles. 
The deed was finally done, Ashton aged up and it was a good thing it was Sat night. By the time it was all settled and he had his cake, the other two were given bottles and put to bed, it was late and Ashton was ready to drop from needing to pee and go to sleep.
And the confusion carried over to the next day; when it was time for a makeover, Ashton, instead of getting his favorite color of lilac, was given Garrett’s favorite color of gray.  And it wasn’t realized for a few days what had happened.  *Sigh*













Then it was the day for Skylar to age to toddler.  But Grandma decided to mess up the plans.   Mom and Dad had planned on a family gathering but were distracted by Garrett and Skylar's crying, she needed her diaper changed and he was hungry. Grandma goes to take care of Skyler they thought; then it would be party time.

Instead, she carries Skylar outside so she can age up. 







Everyone missed the event of seeing the baby become a toddler.  Then, Grandma was going to leave her outside and had to be told to go and get her, bring her back inside.  She has to be getting senile in her old age, or maybe Alzheimer’s is setting in.   It didn’t matter, a certain person was ticked off and felt that as punishment she was going to be given latrine duty, she was going to be emptying potty chairs for quite a while.

It seems that maybe Gigi should have had the lifetime wish for surrounded by family; she wants to have another child!  Not in this lifetime, or definitely not until Skylar ages up to child if not older.  Or, maybe never.
It stays hectic, one child, two toddlers, two grandparents and two adults, a full house; just not the TV show.

Chapter Six:  Birthdays and a New Member to the Family !

Garrett learns all the needed skills, Ashton is a good older brother, he plays pee-a-boo with Garrett





and gives him a bottle when needed. 





Dante works with Skylar on learning to walk, as does Gigi along with teaching Skylar to talk.

For some reason, Garrett didn’t join the others in the kitchen and so he missed out on the fun.  So, with the kids it is Ashton who is a neat, easily impressed, disciplined and now has the trait of neurotic, wonder what is in store for him as a YA.  Garrett loves the outdoors, is insane and is due to have his child birthday in a couple of days.  Skylar has the traits of hates the outdoors and artistic.  The day arrives for Garrett to age up, a party is planned, but as usual, none of the family members are willing to cooperate.   They all spread out in different directions, someone wants to swim (Dante), painting (Grandpa) play on the computer (Grandma) and Gigi is teaching Skylar to walk and so they don’t follow directions to get into the kitchen. 




Garrett gets tired of waiting and ages up without the party. 






He ends up wearing pink long johns, looking very strange in them.  Quickly he is off to get a makeover, into his favorite color of grey.

With the trait of insane, you never know what Garrett will wear, his athletic to bed and formal to school, or his swim wear to school and formal to bed. 


The next day is Friday, and Ashton had had two days of honor roll, so he misses getting on it for three days straight, not fair.  Dante and Gigi sneak off to relax and have some fun in the hot tub.  It has been moved to a better area, with some bushes around it to give more privacy. 




Dante has also over the past few days been working outside on the landscaping and he is happy with it; it may not win any prizes, but it is better than nothing. 




 
Gigi has decided it is time to get a job, she isn’t getting any younger and she wants to reach her goal of being an astronaut.  Everyone else has obtained their wish, so she decides to focus on it, leaving the rest of the family to take care of the kids. 
The kids are getting set to play leap frog soon, Garrett has aged up to a child, Ashton is a teen and Skylar is toddler who is ready to have her birthday tomorrow and age to child.  Everyone is there to help celebrate the day, which is held as soon after the boys get home from school.  She will be able to get a meal, pee, and shower so she can get up for school the next day.

Ashton, of course has to be the problem “child”.  Since Skylar aged up to child Grandma gets her wish for a Bonehilda.  Who scares the living daylights out of Ashton.  He runs screaming from her when he sees her cleaning up the plates from the cake.  Then, he goes enters his bedroom and she is there to clean his bathroom.   






He wakes up and goes screaming down the hallway and out a door. 



She finishes cleaning the bathroom, he returns to his bed and while he is going back to sleep she goes to make the messed up side of the bed.  He gets up and runs screaming again down the hallway, down the stairs and outside.  She makes up that side of the bed and he returns and they pass on the stairs, the poor kid gets to the top, turns around and runs screaming (AGAIN) down the stairs and back outside. 






It is going to be a fun time (NOT) while waiting for him to age to YA so he can move out. 

(I'm not showing all the times he gets up and runs screaming out of not just his bedroom, but all the rooms of the house when he sees her.)

Ha, ha, that was hilarious about Ashton and Bonehilda (though I guess you were not as amused by the thing). I have never had a bonehilda in my game, so I did not know they could freak out like that. Is it his neurotic trait?

Oh, and I like your landscaping. I garden IRL, and always pay attention to the landsacping in pictures, TV series and movies.

it is definitely connected to the neurotic trait, don't remember how it shows up, but there is a notice that it is affected.

I've had coward sims and none of them have acted this way.  Funny but irritating.  I have a lot of trees on the lot and so when autumn came there were a lot of leaves.  I bought three more Boney's to help with the leaves and he was really freaking out.

Right now I have a bigger problem to deal with.  For some reason the beds are bugging out on me.  My sims, all seven of them are unable to sleep in their beds.  The action just cancels out. That is five beds
The only way to get them to sleep in the bed is to replace it.  That happens every two or three nights.  Started with just one sim, Ashton, then went to two (Ashton and parents), the first one then couldn't sleep in the new bed, then the parents again.   Then all of a sudden it was six of the family members, only the grandparents weren't affected.  Then all of them were, same with the next night. 
I have to replace the beds, can't send them to another bed either. 

If it happens again, I am going to try moving them out, then back in.  If that doesn't work, I will have to uninstall IP and see if that corrects the problems.  Hate to do so, but don't know what else to do.
