Missing photo photography issue - Solved

I have taken photos in game with the cameras and displayed them in my sims houses many times. But when I went to do that today, the camera was empty - even if I just had taken around 10 photos. Why is this? It was the big camera too.

What can I do to fix this?

The same thing happens when I take a photo with the smartphone too. The picture is taken, but the photo never shows up

I was given the advice to quit and restart the game, after that and some cleared caches I'm back in business.
