I love how Mina's facial features are so strong, they come through so well in the kids! Except, weird with Isis. Possible CAS reset all her facial sliders to 0? That happened once to me.

That seems like the most likely culprit.  I've never had anything like that before.  Hopefully it was just one off.

------

Due to an oversight by the Watcher, several screenshots were lost, along with many birthdays and the birth of my half-French daughter, Ishta, named for the Goddess I reminded her father of.

All of the children had birthdays.  First Abe and Zadie.

The two became good friends.  Zadie's rebellious streak means every appliance in the house is rigged.  This disturbs her placid, peace-keeping brother.

Then Wendy.

And of course Juliet.

She and her IF Paris, had grown quite close in their teen years, winning prom royalty together.

As adults, they were no less handsome as a couple:

They stayed up late the night of their birthdays.  Plotting the future.

No one was very surprised that Paris came to that discussion well prepared.

They eloped into the dawn.  The perfect couple.

My youngest children also have the makings of a very special bond.  They remind me of the twins, though they are slightly apart in age.  Irish twins, Zadie says.

They spend hours together, happily gurgling in secret baby language, though the two are perfectly capable of simlish at this stage.

I have found a vampire I'd like to father one of my children.  Unfortunately, though smitten, I can never seem to get him to stick around long enough for woohoo.

So, I had a brief fling with this fairy instead.

I've forgotten his name.

Ishta was sad that her sister became a child without her.  No more playpen time.

Wendy seems torn between missing her sister and reveling in the superiority of older age.

Zadie doesn't care.

I confirmed my pregnancy very soon after my one night tryst with Rich Richmond, the mystery fairy.  Unfortunately, his job and zodaic signs were not a boon to my list.

Zadie aged while attempting to prank the computer.

She's now avant garde.  She blinked in her makeover photo, so here's a super flattering one of her pulling a face on the stairway in her pajamas.

She really enjoys critiquing the photos of her brothers and sisters I've taken over the years.  Mercifully, she seems to approve of them.

To her delight, Ishta wasn't far behind and sparkled on her way to the potty.

She's going to be a knockout.  She loves the outdoors and is a dog person, as well.  Dune has really taken to her.

Speaking of the outdoors, with the coming of spring, I've built a little garden in the green space by the house.  This little guy has helped me get it growing.

Abe aged up in the men's room at the spring festival while on a date with a newspaper deliverer named Dena.

He's still very handsome, like his father was.

Before heading out on his own, he decided to make real his IF, George, who apparently finds me "totally hot."  George will eventually tick off the IF box on my daddy list.

He is very attractive.  He is also, unfortunately, and for reasons unknown, still a teenager.

It's no matter.  I was pregnant at that moment anyhow.  And with Abe striking out on his own, an extra pair of hands around the house is helpful.

Especially after the arrival of Gabriel, who is sadly not a fairy like his father.

The girls are inseparable.  Both have left their IF dolls in inventory, favoring instead to spend time together.

Like I said, they remind me of Dana and Fox.

Not a princess and a pirate, though.  Rather two of the same breed, falling in love with all the things in their childhood together.

Man! Those facial features are so strong from the Momma! I love them. And these Ishta and Wendy really are like Fox and Dana. Perhaps even closer, though.

I just read this and it is amazing! I really enjoy your writing style! Will be reading :)
Also, where did you get Juliet's teen/YA everyday hair style?

EDIT: Never mind, I downloaded her off the exchange with the hair from the Skylight Studio stuff ::).

Aw, so many great looking and colorful kids! Your founder has some gorgeous and surprisingly-strong-gened features. I like that she's a Yakshi and just enjoys spreading the love around town and producing cute nooboos.

Hi all!  Sorry it's been so long.  I've had a hectic few months.

I finally imported the game to my new computer today.  This post will be written from the Watcher's POV rather than Mina's, just to readjust us into her life.  Here's what's going on:

Turns out, the game crashed directly before little Gabriel was born, so Mina has been standing in one place, pregnant, for a very long time.  Sorry, girl.

After playing through to date, Gabriel got through his infancy with no problems and bonded quite a lot with his big sister, Zadie.

He's a cute little munchkin.

He's a loner, but as his name suggests, very, very good hearted.

His birthday fell pretty close to Wendy's.  She is definitely her father's daughter when it comes to a flair for fashionable drama.

And, Mina finally talked that cute drama queen vampire guy into compromising situations.  Around twelve of them.  No chimes, but you never know.

She also found some pylons on her lawn that might result in some future babies.  We'll see.  Mina's legacy will be an interesting thing to follow in the future, with so many children.  For now, she's just waiting to see if there's a new one in the oven.

And making sure little Gabe has a bright future.

I loved that you've managed to have Mina have several children by systematically chosen fathers without making her a terrible person.
I'm not pedantic! I just believe in precision of language.

I love toddlers!  This project is perfect for me :)

It's crazy how dominant Mina's genes are! Each child has resembled her far more than they have any of the fathers. Congratulations on getting back in the game.

It's crazy how prominent they are.  Usually townie genes take over.  I should grab someone like Chris Steel and see how it goes.

Haha, I was feeling on-the-nose.

Not going to lie, that is a challenge

-------

It turned out that my multiple attempts to conceive with the vampiric acrobat were for naught.  For now, the only baby in the house was little Gabe.  My smart boy knew all of his skills and was now just learning for fun.

The other children are all doing exceptionally well.  Wendy has joined the journalism club on campus and Zadie is now working as a professional artist.

Ishta aged up on a rainy Tuesday night.

All of my children are gorgeous, but Ishta is one of those people that makes others stop what they are doing to stare.  She may just give Juliet a run for her money!

She was so happy to have aged up in time for prom with all of the others.  She already knew exactly what she wanted to wear.

In the meantime, my curiosity got the better of me with those pylons outside.  I toyed around with them instead of just calling the city dump.  You'll never guess what happened.

I got transported into the future!  Can you imagine?  A gorgeous time lord was there.  I was immediately intrigued, but sadly he is a-sexual.

He made up for my disappointment that he couldn't contribute to my family by giving me a jet pack.  I call this a fair trade.

And, I immediately ran into descendants of mine!  This one is just a clone face, but she's a nice girl.

The patriarch, Shane, looks a lot more like me.

What a handsome devil!  When I asked him which of my children he had descended from, he coyly told me "the legitimate one."  So, this Shane knows who I will eventually marry!  He wouldn't give up the goods, though.

He just said, "the story goes that you knew as soon as you saw him." and then he told me how happy he was to have met me.

While I was in the future, I thought I might as well scope out a future man to sire one of my children.  I went to the park, where I participated in a futuristic game of ridiculous poses with this man.

Sadly, he was taken.  I approached another three men in the park only to realize that they were all descended from me!  The whole park was chock full of Yakshi descendants!

This one must be related to Gabe.  He has Rich's ears.

Maybe Zadie's line?

No clue.

Eventually I spotted this ... person.

He was attracted to me and had nice arms, so I thought I'd test the waters, even if he had a weird fake pet and bad eyeshadow.

I confirmed twice that the first guy wasn't an option.  He wasn't.

So I did what I do.

And the instant I heard chimes, I made that poor man forget all about me.

Now.  To figure out how to get out of here.

Being a yakshi isn't always easy. Sometimes, you take one for the team. Fortunately, relationship transmogrifier is here to help.

Wow, Shane is so freakin' handsome! Mina must have uncovered some secret genetic formula that enables her features to remain so prominent generations upon generations later. It'd be awesome to see how her looks fare against the all-mighty Steel genes. This was a nice chapter. Keep up the great work.

He is gorgeous!  I was really pleased.  If she goes back at any point, I imagine it'll be different descendants.  Kind of kicking myself for not grabbing him for the sim bin.

Truth.

----

I wanted to get out of Oasis Landing as quickly as possible, but before I did, I made a quick errand to the plumbot emporium.  Surely that's more ethical than say, the lottery archive.  I made a purchase.

We can't seem to give it a name, so right now it is just called Plumbot.  I think it's a she.

Plumbot is very taken with Gabe.  That's good, because I need all the help I can get.  That said, I've never seen a kid less impressed with The Claw.

To celebrate Leisure Day and general good cheer, I threw a pool party and invited family only.  In true Starlight Shores fashion, half the town showed up anyway.

The biggest shock for me was that Wylie had become a merman.  That pastel green tail is so strange on him, though Wendy thought it was hilarious.

Juliet looks to be trying out a new hair color (no idea why that is).  She and Abe spent time praising their sister's improved guitar skill by the pool.

If the change had been intended to circumvent recognition, it was a massive failure.

It was perfect weather, the pool was the absolute ideal temperature, and everyone seemed to be in a great mood!

Ishta and Wendy continued their traditional competitions.  I fear what will happen when prom rolls around for those two.

I can't think of a time when I was more perfectly content.

Into the late afternoon the party raged.  Zadie had a water balloon fight for an unseemly long time with one of the women from the expensive part of town.

Ishta fell asleep on her towel.

And I read my thousandth pregnancy book while I was still small enough to lay on my tummy.

If it weren't for the zombies, I think we would've stayed outside all night.  Either way, the party got rave reviews.

After that, my pregnancy took the front seat in what I could do by the day.  I got pretty close to maxing out social networking while Plumbot helped with Gabe.

I even fell a little bit for a man who came to the pool party.  I would love if he'd be interested in fathering one of my babies.

Gabe had his birthday and grew up a bot fan.  Small wonder with Plumbot joining our family at such a young age.

He's a beautiful boy.

And possibly the only person I know who finds the idea of Mina Yakshi's pregnant belly interesting or novel.

I think he'll make a great big brother.  He takes life by the horns.

Zadie also had a birthday.  Poor thing, it was two hours before prom.

And I ruined her cake too by going into labor.

The kids piled into the limo for prom and Plumbot drove me to the hospital in the motive mobile.

Zadie stayed behind and made the most of having peace and quiet while she worked on her adult look.

I also suspect she invited that posh woman back over.  She only has 24 hours to sort out where she's going to move when she leaves home, so I suppose it's fair enough.

I gave birth to a healthy little girl, half from the future.  Her name is Eloi.  I got her home and spent the night rocking her.  I held her little wriggling body close while I waited for Zadie to do her thing, for Gabe to settle into his big boy bed, and for my teens to come home and tell me what fresh drama prom has brought on us.

Nice to see that she got out of the future in one piece!
