Chapter 24 - A Very Late Thanksgiving

SURPRISE!!! I know I told you guys that I wouldn't be doing a Thanksgiving special, but I felt really guilty for not doing one. Even though its over a week later from Thanksgiving, I still want to share with you guys how the Skydream's Thanksgiving was. Some major and minor things have happened, so I'll get right to it!


Who could ever have Thanksgiving without decorations? I did add a little fireplace, mostly for the soon-to-be Christmas. I can never resist cute little pumpkins. Oh, I love fall. (Even though it was still summer in the game..) Speaking of seasons, I live in Texas and we actually got snow! And by snow I mean small pellets of ice. You can't make snowballs. Ice isn't fun like snow is. I'm rambling again.. I need to stop that.



I placed some more decorations down and voila! Thanksgiving is ready to go! But first, we need to cook everything. Erg.. that's the boring part.




A little bit after I had finished decorating the house, I heard the ghost, creepy, graveyard music that always makes my heart race. (I'm a coward, lol) I don't keep any graves on my lot, so I looked over to the park that they owned. I saw Agnes's ghost sitting in one of the chairs for a wedding, just reading a book. At nine in the morning. Good job at proving logic wrong, Agnes.

Agnes: *Throws shoe at screen* BE QUIET!

*Rubs head* Sheesh! Even in the afterlife, your still grumpy.



Isabelle got to work making all the food. It was tiresome and took up the entire day. And being the only cook in the house, she did it all alone.

Isabelle: *Grumbling* Is this going to be an annual thing?

Uhmm..

Isabelle: It is, isn't it. Ughh... *Bangs head repeatedly onto pan*



While this was going on, Adrian, Mellony and Skyler were all painting. Adrian won't really make it to paint Mellony's elder piece. I also don't want Mae's future husband to be a sculptor too. Hey, you might not be able to see what's going on in rabbitholes but they get rid of your sims for 5 hours a day. Skyler is going to be a busy bee with mastering painting and sculpting.



Mae is always sculpting in her studio. With Skyler pursuing painting, she has the studio and its 2 stations to herself. I might as well put a mini fridge up there for her and she would never come out.



What is wrong with this girl? She is always staring out the windows, like she's longing for her lover or something. *Motherly voice* Skyler! Stop acting all Romeo and Juliet and get painting!

Skyler: Wa-what? Sorry, I was staring at the sun. Gah.. my eyes! Why do they hurt so bad?

Mae: *Yelling* Don't stare directly at the sun, numskull!

What will I do with these two?



Isabelle's garden seems to have grown. Not a single money tree has died. I think they are glitched cause only like 3 out of the 12 that I have actually produce money. And they are all ready for harvest and are not dormant. I don't understand. Notice the very cute scarecrow decoration I put there. I really like it and I think it will stay.



Finally it was the day when you were allowed to indulge yourself in bread rolls. They had an entree of Stuffed Turket and Goopy Garbonara. Both were made to perfection. For desert they had pumpkin pie. In game right now, their fridge is full of pie, cake, turkey, and goopy garbonara. 



Then to top of the night, they watched a marathon of movies. They all got to know each other better and had a grand time.



But there was one person missing from the family. The one that was loved so very much.



I realized that aside from cooking and gardening, Isabelle doesn't have anything to do. So I set off to make some work for her to do. Laundry! Yay!

Isabelle: *unhappy tone* Yay.



On their day back to school, Skyler brought home some cutie named Emil Birch. I find it quite comical that his name backwards is Lime.  Lol I'm so mean. This would be a very interesting match. Blonde hair against black. One thing I don't like about him though is that he has that NPC copied face to him. He looks too much like Adrian. But alas, the heart chooses at its own will. She ended up asking him to prom. Mae had yet to find someone to go with.



Adrian never lets me forget that he is evil. I am constantly having to cancel out "Scare" actions from him. And now, he is painting creepy paintings.



Speaking of him, I had completely forgotten that it was his elder birthday!
 
Adrian: Oh my unstable bones! I'll be fine, as long as I can still scare people.



I hadn't saved his hair color and I was going to have to give him Christopher's hair color when I mixed some brown and green together and now he's back to normal! I left his same hair and facial hair on too.



I really need to get more clothes for elders. I've been forced to use... base game clothes.. *Shiver shiver* He still looks relatively fine, though. He didn't want to go the old grandpa route but the "I'm still gripping onto my youth at 74" route with his clothing choice.

And for the first time in makeovers for this dynasty, an outerwear. Like I had said before, I am actually going to be turning on seasons now.

Chapter 25 - Lots of Romance

(P.S. This chapter was written yesterday and was meant to be posted yesterday but my dad shut me down early and made me go to bed. With time, when I say tomorrow it means today and today means yesterday. Confusing? No? Ok.)

Ok, so I've got lots of news. First of all, I am sooooo sorry that I haven't updated in forever. I've had family over and all that for the last few weeks and I was really busy!
Second, I got Sims 3 Fastlane and Supernatural... and no I did not just get them today. They were supposed to be for Christmas..but my mom got them as downloads on Origin and I just kind of...downloaded them a week ago..Sneaky, right? Supernatural is actually really nice. I love all of the clothes. They are all Victorian looking, and I'm a sucker for all things antique and Victorian.  Oh, and this isn't the Christmas Special. That will come tomorrow some time in the afternoon.

Ok, I really don't know what has gotten into Adrian. Apparently, aging into an elder has made his Mother-in-law look more desirable. *facepalm* Oh, Adrian. I have caught them at least 5 times trying to do romance interactions. It's just weird.



Something had happened to Mellony and Adrian's relationship. It did not show them as married or even dating. Ok, Adrian you have gone TOO FAR! *facepalm* I don't think my forehead can take any more facepalms. Thank god, Mellony and Skyler still were their children. I just had them flip through the romance interactions.









Then the two went to bed like nothing happened. What will I do with these crazy people?

Skyler: You will make us become blue tigers!

What?..No, what is her deal with blue tigers? She isn't insane but she sure acts like it.



Remember little Emil Birch, with the blonde hair that Skyler asked to prom? No? Well anyway, apparently he has a brother named Travis. And whats the best thing? They aren't NPCs! I don't need another spouse that is much older. *Glares at Adrian* Anyway, Mae asked him to prom! He may be a bit fluffy but that can always be fixed. Hopefully he doesn't have brown hair. I want different colors! VARIETY GOSH DARNIT!



While Mae was over at Travis's house, Mellony was making friends with the maid. I'm pretty sure she only needs like 2 more best friends. So close!



When prom came, everything went off without a hitch! It was great! No fights, no yelling, and no stolen outfits. Skyler got prom queen, got kissed in the spotlight by Emil, danced with Emil, and went steady with Emil. Mae sadly didn't win prom queen, but she came out on top by impressing Travis by dancing, little sneaky Travis convinced Mae that a meteor was hurtling towards earth and they needed to kiss ASAP, and they went steady. In all, it was a great night. The only thing that I wish had happened was that they actually went in their formal wear. Instead, they went in their Outer Wear.



With I believe it was supernatural, I got Isabelle a new car! Before, she had only a $10,000 vehicle. This one is like $36,000. Not only is this family crazily happy, they are crazily rich too at $434,000.



When Adrian and Isabelle had been flirting and stuff, Skyler and Mae got really upset with them. They were both at 'Disliked' for the 2 girls. Skyler took some driving lessons which got her back up to friends with Adrian and Isabelle. She also got some lessons from her mom, for her mothers requirements. Driving lessons for 4 hours really brings family together, I guess. 



I got Mae's portraits done, and I have to say, they are probably the best portraits I have ever done on a sim.



Then Mae got some driving lessons from the adults in the house. Her mother was screaming the entire time.

Mellony: WATCH OUT!!! It's a deer, go that way, NO NO, LEFT!!! LEFTT!!!!! MAE!!!

Mae: MOTHER, I HAVEN'T STARTED THE ENGINE YET!

Mellony: Oh, I'm sorry dear. Go ahead and start the car.

*facepalm* My forehead is really hurting now.



I had decided that the kitchen needed to be re-done. It was a bit boring before. Now there's lots more cabinets!

Isabelle: Yes! Lots and lots of storage. STORAGE!

Yeah...storage...



This isn't a sim in the dynasty but I had to share this glitch. My sim in a different world was snorkling and I wanted her to go back to the houseboat and this is what happened. This is not logical, sims. 



Ok, well tomorrow I will have the Christmas update some time around 3-ish. I haven't even started playing in winter yet. Hehe... anyway, see you tomorrow for the Christmas Special!

What you can do if the parents rule anyway, it's a wise decision to be a good kid instead being rebellious and your precious and only The Sims was taken away. We’re in the same boat, but I’m on the rebel side Real life first, Sims life can catch up later. You didn't want your real life messed up because of Sims right? We're as your readers understand that, so no worries I think instead sneaky, that was a smart move But, be careful with your move next time. You know when parents wrath coming, I don't even know what to say.

Congratulations on the new expansion and stuff pack, which might add more fun to the game-play Go, Mellony! Just two more left! I never saw male maid before, only female or I play with them for a long time anyway. I just love the photograph, she looks cheerful with that pose and I think that was lovely and sweet! The kitchen also looks good, but I never know if those good at---just add environmental value so we're getting... decorated related moodlet

Zombies, you can just stop the moon cycle. Mellony is currently in the safezone with I think like a week left of adult and all she needs is 2 friends and her elder pieces. Yay! I've actually played with many male maids. It's just really awkward. Thanks, I love her formal wear which is what she was wearing. I don't really make a fuss about decoration moodlets, cause I can just add some pictures and stuff. Also, they already get like a +30 moodlet just for being on a beautiful lot.

Sorry to hear that. Aww, talking to cousins were the fatal thing in your secret mission but what we could do anyway as teenager and when we excited about something. One of them must be jelly But, glad to know that your Mom was so understanding, she must be have Nurturing trait!

My cousin isn't jealous, he is just a tattle tale! Lol and my mom has the childish, nurturing, and I-don't-care trait if there was one! 

I'm hoping to get an update in today. I'm honestly bored of sims right now. I've been playing it non-stop cause I bought $80 worth of simpoints which I bought 2 new worlds with and I was having fun with that. But now, I just need to push through even if I'm bored and get an update in! The girls must grow up! They're still teens lol

Chapter 26 - Young Adults!

I am truly sorry that I didn't really get an update out during Christmas. I was busy and stuff. But, now I have Supernatural and Fast Lane! Yay! Spooky stuff and groovy cars for everyone!

Mae: Yay?

Shhh! Anyway, I'm sick again.  With what we think is the beginnings of the flu. So, I get to give ya'll an update! Double yay! Also, I bought a butt load of simpoints (10,000 to be exact, cost $80) so I have gotten a lot of new stuff. Along with that, during the 12 days of Christmas special, I got some free stuff. Who doesn't love free? I have already spent a lot of the points. I'm already down to 800.  Oh well. Anyways, this chapter will be pretty long. By long I mean lots of pictures.

Mae has been sculpting 24/7! If she wakes up early, sculpting is the first thing she does.



Adrian is now at the age of I believe 83, so I decided to let him and Mellony have some time together. Just in case his time comes early. (Like it did for Chris and Agnes) They wanted to go swimming, so they had lots of fun splashing each other for 5 hours.



Then, they dried off on the sand and relaxed on their beach towels and talked about their past.



My sims seem to all be able to make me laugh with their goofy faces. Adrian, stop looking at your wife like that!



Lastly, they ended their day together in the hot tub. Do you remember when they kissed for the first time in this exact hot tub? It feels like just yesterday.



Of course it led to this...



And its finally Mae and Skyler's young adult birthdays! Have you noticed that I never throw parties? Yeah.. I don't really do that. Maybe I will throw a bachelorette party for Skyler when she gets married. And yes, she will not die alone and will get married. I'm not sure about kids, though..

Woah! She aged up to YA with the same hair that her mother aged up with. Yeah.. it doesn't suit you either..



Here comes Skyler to the cake! Oh my, every time they age up, we get a weeks worth of cake in the fridge, along with the already made food from the day before.

Both of them desperately need makeovers. To the mirrors and wardrobes!!!!



I debated whether to change or keep Mae's hair, and I ended up keeping it. Look at how cute she is! She resembles her mother and grandmother so much. LOOK! THE
LIPS!!! THEIR BACK! 



I actually bought the Stone Throw Garden thingy from the store and it came with some really cute clothes! The lot is a really pretty green house. I don't recommend it for people who have the seasons expansion, though. It doesn't actually block out the weather. It's not a roof, just a roof decoration. 1,500 sim points down the drain. Well anyway, her Everyday 1 is from that and it kind of looks similar to the clothes from University Life. Does it not?



I did give her a second everyday wear because I'm nice like that.  I've noticed that Mae is a little on the chubby side. She's not as skinny as her mother or sister. I can fix that.

For Mae, I didn't actually include her formal cause its a secret! It's her wedding dress. Skyler kept her hair and changed her makeup to a more elegant style. Before, she was rocking some bold, blue eyeliner. Skyler seems to have one of those NPC copy faces. 



She completely changed her style. She went from preppy and cute to relaxed and elegant. Sadly, Skyler only gets one Everyday wear. I also am not going to show her formal wear either. Again, she IS getting married.

The girls got their own bedrooms, both designed to their liking. This, of course, is Mae's bedroom. I'm very proud of it, though I feel bad for her future husband.



And here is Skyler's room! Her husband will be luckier.

I also failed to mention that aging up to teenage and YA, Mae gained the sculpter trait and I think the flirty trait. Skyler had gained the vehicle enthusiast and artistic traits. Sorry for not mentioning that!
