Chapter 12 - Oh Teenage Years

Yay! Another update! It's even on a Tuesday! And yes, I'm still sick so thats why I'm not at school. I probably won't do another chapter today. So enjoy this extra long one while you can!


Poor Agnes is basically a slave for the Skydream family. She fixes and upgrades things, sometimes cooks if Isabelle is gardening, cleans, and supplies money for the house. The poor girl hasn't even had a kiss in forever! If ONLY I could resurrect her husband. Hmph. Maybe in time.. in time..enough with the creepy-ness! This is the first game ever that I have used sprinklers for my gardening! It makes it so much easier. I had Agnes upgrade them to automatic.

I really do appreciate you, Agnes.

Agnes: Oh hush and let me work...

Well then.. someone isn't letting go of the grumpiness, eh? Hehe.

Agnes: I'll bang this hammer on something else that is hard and demented.

...ok then.. carry on.






I sent Isabelle off to get a Red berry bean seed, because I need to take up some space in my garden and those are easy to find and give you a bit of money. Isabelle has never played with a sprinkler, so I let her have it. Do you see what she is doing with her booty???

Isabelle: I AM SO HAPPY!!!

This is why I don't let my sims play with sprinklers.




So, Christopher mastered fishing! Also, I think he has one more perfect fish away from finishing his LTW. That doesn't matter much, but it's just nice to have extra lifetime points.




Even though you can't really see her face in it, Agnes took a cute picture of Isabelle gardening and I put it in her gallery above her Super Sleeper. I am hoping I can get a good picture of Isabelle and Chris together before either turn to elder. I'll probably put that on the back wall of the stairs.





It was finally the day of Mellony's birthday! It was early in the morning, but I couldn't wait any longer for her teenage years! She came downstairs from her slumber and made a wish on her cake.

What did you wish for, Mellony?

Mellony: It won't come true if I tell you, ya dork!



I already knew what she was wishing for. In her mind she was whispering:

Mellony: Please be pretty, please be pretty!!!

She did another cute dance and she turned into...





A complete cutie! Dear... she is so beautiful. I was astounded by her beauty. And, yes, she is wearing eyeshadow and lipstick. Both are faint though. Even though they're not in pigtails, her hair is still separated into two parts. I wasn't that fond of this hair on her at first, but then nothing else looked good on her. So, I just stuck with this. I am still wowed by her cuteness!




Her everyday wear is quite vibrant. Her dress vaguely reminds me of Lollipop Dreamweaver. I guess its the purple and green!  Normally, I put my teens in flats or someone other than heels, but she's an exception. She isn't wearing full-on heels, though. I believe she has on wedges. Man, am I a dork. I'm over here rambling on over her shoes! 



Oh, I love her formal wear. She's going to wear it to prom. Sadly, there are literally no boys at her school. She'll go alone I guess. That doesn't mean the girls at prom won't get jealous over her custom made dress, right? 




This is her sleepwear. I didn't feel like putting her into a sleep gown. And, yes, she is wearing hotpants. Maybe I'll post a picture just for Metro even though he's probably not even going to read this. 



And last but not least, her swimwear. I have recently put in a hot-tub since the Skydreams have over $150,000. Yes, they are officially rich. And I even think it almost all came from Isabelle's money trees!




Speaking of which, Isabelle has achieved the harvester. She had a little bit of fun with it until she went back to her normal labor.



I think this is one of the cutest pictures of Mellony. It's also a perfect shot of Isabelle's money trees outside. Mellony finally got a job as a painter. Agnes is quite proud of her since she has gotten to level 3 in 2 days. She is also at I think 4 in photography and 5 or 6 in painting. Skilling is so much easier when you start as a toddler.



YAHOO!!! Isabelle has finished her job as a gardener! She made it to level 10! Booyah! I am getting quite scared, though. She is about 10 days away from elder and she only has 1 opp done! ONE! THATS IT! AKK!

Chris: Shh.. it's alright.. here... drink some juice..

Gah.. Ok. I'm better. Hopefully game mechanics will work in my favor.




Ok.. now that I'm done hyperventilating, I can finish the chapter. Alright, so questions of the day:

1. Did you guys like the dialogue? I will do more if wanted! 

2. Do you have any idea if I can someone get some opps very quickly, without cheating or anything? It would be extremely helpful!

Wow, Mellony is really pretty. I like the dialogue, it works really well. With the Opps, if you have ambitions you can quit her current career (it'll still count because she's level 10) and join the private investigator career. All the cases are Opps so that is an easy way to get them. Also if you have Late Night & if you have celebrities turned on, it might take a long time to build up their celeb. status but that can give alot of Opps as well.

Edit: Duh, of coure you have ambitions, she's in a self-employed career. *facepalm* I can be so stupid sometimes

Thanks for commenting! I appreciate your help with her opps. With the genetics, I think Isabelle had such big lips that it evened it out in between Chris's lips and Isabelle's lips. In other words, Mellony's lips are in between her parents lips. I am just happy that she got her fathers hair color. I do wish that she would've gotten his eyes too.

Chapter 13 - Hallelujah!

Well, today is such an odd day to post, isn't it? You guys have gotten like chapters every day now. I am happy you guys liked the dialogue!  Also, thanks for the help on the opps and stuff! I am so happy that people finally commented!  I feel like I tell too many details. And so that's why people are on the same chapter as me, but are in like generation 3 already. It just concerns me.

Anyhoodles, I just had to post this cute picture! Mellony painted this and I thought it was just the cutest thing ever. I hung it up over the computer and I think it goes good with the wall paneling.




Oh, the stage that I hate the most. The elder stage. Why did I chose to do this challenge? I'm gonna be stuck with elders in the house for almost 7 generations. What was I thinking. Well, too far to turn back now! Such sheer luck, Agnes was painting a self-portrait and the moment she started painting, she was celebrating. Complete luck, there.


Agnes: Ughh! I am not digging this gray hair. Please tell me you're not planning on letting me keep this?

Of course not! I am totally with you on the gray hair. It doesn't flatter your skin tone.

Agnes: Just change me, woman!



I did leave some gray roots on her. She should just be happy I didn't change her hair to brown when she moved in.

Agnes: You were going to do that?!?

No.. no.. of course not! *Snicker* Hehe.

She has given up the tight hoes for a more refined look. Now those glasses aren't just for a preppy look. She needs them 24/7.




I decided to give her a better bed since she had old bones now. The woman is even more grumpy than usual! And I even took that trait away! Some people never change.



Oh, how the game mechanics have worked in my favor! Even though I think he's a newspaper deliverer, Adrian Sterling is quite a cutie, is he not?    Of course, that shaved head isn't working in his favor, though.



She had met him on Monday, the day of the prom. She invited him over and they got to some flirting. I think they got up to friend and she was about to ask him to the prom when the limo came to pick her up! Darn. He left in a taxi behind her and she went to the prom alone.



She still looks pretty, though. I am quite proud of that dress. I think it is adorable. She is sadly riding in style to the prom. 



Here is her solo prom picture. You can't even see her face in it! The night started out good but then just rolled off a cliff and drowned in the ocean. She was awarded as Prom Queen. Mellony was actually having a mood swing that day, so she wanted to set off a booby trap but there was too many chaperones around. Then, she asked out the most popular (and most likely the only) boy out and he walked away laughing. Just like her mother, that one.

*Glances at Chris* Hmph.

Then, she fell flat on her face while dancing. Quite a night. She came back with an unfinished homework that had to be done at school and a broken soul.  Poor Mellony. It was so ironic when the notification came up saying that the guy laughed in her face. I guess it might be the Skydream family curse? Every family has some type of curse. Whether it be breaking everything they touch, setting ablaze everything they touch, having every vampire they meet with starve to death (Heh  ) or just having every type of connection turned down with a guy. Maybe, just maybe?


I think it was the next night that almost the entire family sat down for dinner. Isabelle was off doing god knows what. But, that is a very rare thing to happy at the Skydream house.

Mellony: Hey, could either of you lend me $40,000 simoleons?

Chris: *Chokes on food*

Agnes: You're a Skydream, alright.



Yep! Their relationship continued! On I think Wednesday, Mellony invited Adrian over and started flirting again. She snuck in a kiss! They already look like a cute couple.



And a couple they are! Everyone, I would just like to say that you are looking at the future Mr. Adrian Skydream. Just 'saying. 



Then, to end the glorious night, she invited him into the hot tub where they cuddled. She even invited him to sleep over and he instantly went into one of the extra beds instead of stealing her bed. Such a gentleman, he is.



Why do the pictures always turn out better! It drives me insane. The great news of this update is that the game mechanics really love me. How so? Isabelle got 3 opportunities within the matter of 3 days. First, she got 'Uncommonly good' which she finished with ease. Then she went to go and do the 'Eating contest', which she won, when she got the opp for 'Getting to know...you'. All she had to do was walk up to some stranger and use the interaction 'Get to know'. I was overjoyed. She is currently at about 5 days away from Elder and I was freaking. All she has now is her Elder portrait, her 6 best friends, and 2 more opps. Man, does it feel good to get that accomplished. And of course she finished her Adult pieces.



Aww.. such a cute photo! This is currently hanging up in Mellony's bedroom. It kind of looks odd with both of them in their swimwear. Oh well. I still think its adorable. Oh and I forgot to mention that Chris finished his LTW, Mellony mastered photography, and Isabelle mastered cooking.



So, a good chapter. All is well with the Skydream family. Now I have one question for today:

Chapter 14 - Goes by so quick

This will be a nice long chap since I didn't give you one over the weekend. I actually played this all weekend and I wanted to make it long. That's why I didn't post. So it could all build up and I could let it out on Monday, which is today! Yay!  Ok, onto the chapter!

I think Adrian and Mellony are just so cute together! On thursday, when I left off, Mellony brought Adrian home to do homework together. He ended up staying over even though I never told him he could. I think Mellony was talking to him about having a baby. He looks kind of stressed about that. Hopefully he doesn't hate children! I already know he's a slob and hes neither "Hates Art" or artistic.   



I actually bought them a new car. It is really Isabelle's, but I'm too cheap to buy one for Chris too. Agnes doesn't even set foot off the lot. I even fenced around the entire lot so no burglaries of cars will happen again. I like how her car has blue wheel frames.



I thought that this painting was cute. How many pictures have I posted of portraits? Sheesh I'm obsessed with tiny details. This is currently hanging above Isabelle's bed and it was painted by Agnes.



Oh, this is rich. Adrian, Mellony's boyfriend, was Isabelle's friend. Mellony had invited him over to talk and bring their relationship away from deteriorating. The moment he walked through the door, Isabelle got a Opp called "Swim Into the Grill". She was supposed to whip up a batch of Grilled Salmon and give it to Adrian. How comical is that? Ha! Good thing Chris had a perfect salmon on hand and she quickly made it and gave it to Adrian. Did I also mention that she got the Outstandingly rare opp done too? I didn't? Well she finished that. Know what that means? YUP! SHE FINISHED ALL HER OPPS!!! WOOP WOOP! *Throws confetti* All that leaves is her Elder Portrait and her 6 best friends. Hopefully Agnes doesn't die before she can get all of her best friends.



Isabelle was just so happy that she changed into her formal wear, woke Chris up and jumped into his arms!

Isabelle: I finished my Opportunities requirement!

Chris: Wait, what? What requirement?

Isabelle: Never mind, darling! Go back to sleep. This is all a dream...



I was just thinking of the future household. With up to 6 people sleeping in one bedroom, they are going to need more than one shower. And no, I don't have any toilets because all the immortals will have a Steel Bladder. I hate having to go pee every 2 hours.



Poor Isabelle can't even get a break from the Aliens on the night before her birthday! The keep abducting her.



Wait, did you say Isabelle's birthday? Yes, sadly I did. My sweet, young and beautiful Isabelle is about to become cranky, old, and wrinkly.

Isabelle: I'm right here, ya know.

I know. I'm the watcher, dude. I see everything. EVERYTHING.  I don't think Agnes is that impressed.

The entire family had to avert their eyes. Chris had to go outside for some fresh air. Poor guy. He's always younger than his spouse.



NOOO!!!! Her.. her lips..their..NO. I can't even bring myself to SAY IT! Her beautiful, full lips are gone. GONE I SAY!...

Chris: Please hold a moment while I calm her down.

Ok.. BUT! HER LIPS! Oh.. why? Oh why why why why why!!! *Sigh* They're gone forever. Lost in time and space. At least I got her beautiful hair and hair color back.



Her lip size were the first thing I noticed. I almost started hyperventilating. I'm kind of fine now. Kind of.

I put Isabelle is a cute apron and outfit. The apron is for cooking and gardening. It suits her, yes?



And theres her sleepwear. I didn't notice that it was the same style as Agnes until after I closed out CAS. I think she looks cute.

Isabelle: I would be cuter if I had my big lips back..

I'm just as heartbroken as you. You are going to spend your immortal years with those.. those distasteful lips! Hmph.



Isabelle went to the consent of Chris.

Isabelle: Do you think I still look pretty, without my big lips?

Chris: Of course I do. *Holds back puke*

Oh jeez.



Yay! A birthday that I actually want! Again, I aged her up on a school day so the bus was honking at her while she was blowing out the candles. Mellony never actually learned how to drive. Woops! Completely forgot about that.



Young adult in 3, 2, 1...



Oh good lord. Chris don't puke again. Please. I rushed her to the mirror and dresser and..



She is GORGEOUS girl! Genetics at its best, folks. I gawked at her beauty for at least 15 minutes. I sticked with her same hair color and I kept her purple wear.



Instead of her normal dress, she seemed to fit better into a sweater. Such a darling. She is a good combination of her parents. Mellony is by far the prettiest sim I've ever had or made. Even when I had Custom Content.



Such a resemblance of face features. Of course this isn't her real hair color, but I changed it to look like Isabelle. She's definitely Isabelle's daughter. Both are so beautiful in their own way. I'm still surprised that Mellony didn't get Chris's thin lips.



Well, thats a rap! Sadly, my game crashed when I went to change Mellony's formal wear. I can't remember when I last saved but I think it was a bit before she aged up. So not much harm done there. I will post the rest of her wardrobe next chapter. No question of the day! Ok, later guys Comment and share with others!

Guys, I am really upset. I really don't know what happened. Maybe it was the crash from last week or something. But the file is gone. I do still have a file where Mellony is a child, but I don't know whether or not to keep playing or to move this to the graveyard and start new. I really need your guy's opinion on this. If you guys want me to just continue on with this, then I will. Otherwise, I'll probably start a townie story and have YA mellony be the founder. Please help me out on this! Thanks.
