Chapter 5 - Baby Boom!

Firstly, James managed to reach the top level of his career. He's a Mad Scientist now and, as the name might suggest, he has a rather wacky uniform.

But that's not the important news (sorry James!). The important news is that I finally rolled my last wish (Be worth more than 500,000) and with the happiness points, I became Queen of the Fae! So, you know what that means...

... nooboo time!

I was so excited to be a Mum. But there was the question of whether this pregnancy would produce an heir. While I'd love to have Fae children, they will serve no purpose in this dynasty.

My pregnancy was rather uneventful, other than the arrival of this evil gnome. I think it's his ambition to go to University.

Anyway, my pregnancy seemed to pass very quickly. I was dancing in my study when the pains first hit. I managed to stay pretty calm about it.

James, on the other hand, completely lost it...

He told me I needed to go to hospital but I refused. I wanted my little nooboo to be born at home.

And then, in a flurry of sparkles, my baby girl was born. She's not a fairy, so we named her Ariel in the hope she may be a mermaid.

I carried her to her crib, but then I felt the pains again. I was having twins!

My second baby was a baby boy, a fairy just like me. We decided to keep our naming theme though and named him Triton.

But that still wasn't the end. There was another to come.

We got a second girl, who could also be a mermaid. We named her Melody*.

Ariel was born with the Artistic and Neurotic traits. Triton is also artistic but he is Perceptive as well. Melody is the only one without the artistic trait. She is eccentric and hates the outdoors.

James has been spending his time caring for his three little nooboos, especially Ariel and Melody, as one of them will be the heir, whether they are human or a mermaid.

But when they're all tucked up in their cots, James and I spend time together... on FIFA.

* For all those who don't know, Melody is Ariel's daughter in The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea.

I've had something awful happen. After using Tab to take a screenshot, the whole screen (in Sims) except the bars along the bottom (with the needs bar, moodlets, etc) went blank. I've looked it up and found that other people have had it and haven't been able to find a solution. The most recent save I had before that was when Sally became pregnant. I'm awaiting a decision from the challenge team whether I can go back to that save or not. Whatever happens, the triplets are gone. I'm very sad because I found out both Ariel and Melody were mermaids and Ariel had the Believer ears

Oh Snufflesxx, that's terrible.

I had that happen to me and it just about broke my heart and I wasn't even in a challenge. I have enjoyed this story so much. I hope you can carry on. Fingers crossed.

Oh no Snuffles! I had the exact thing with my hatch dynasty and It made me loose the file. I hope you can get the game fixed soon!

I have good news and bad news. The bad news is that I've lost the triplets but the good news is that I had a previous save just after she got pregnant and she has had another set of triplets, all girls this time, names Ariel and Melody (again) and Miranda (don't know where that came from!). Ariel is the heir because Melody and Miranda are both fairies. I will post an official chapter tomorrow though this is going to be pretty hard to write into the story...

Chapter 6 - Toddler Mania

I have learned in the last few days that life can be very unpredicatable. One minute, I have my 2 mermaid girls and my gorgeous little fairy boy and suddenly everything changes. Now, I have three little girls, two of which are fairies. Their names are Ariel, Melody and Madison. Ariel is our little heir because she is the only one who isn't a fairy like me.

I took photos of them and displayed them in the bathroom that connects to their nursery. That's Ariel in the big one on the left and Melody is on the top on the right side with Madison underneath.

Their Burrito days were short and they are now beautiful little toddlers now. Ariel is mostly her Dad with his eye colour and his beautiful chocolate brown hair. Unfortunately she didn't get the famous Believer eyes but she's amazing just the same. Melody has her Dad's brown hair but my bright green eyes. Madison looks more like me than the other two, with my pure white skin tone and jet black hair. But she isn't an exact copy of me because she has her Dad's eye colour.

Now that she's a toddler, the real work starts for Ariel. She plays her xylophone and Daddy reads her painting books. It's very sweet.

However, this doesn't mean that Madison and Melody get ignored... well, they do sometimes but they have the TV to keep them occupied.

Yes, they are obsessed with television already. Especially Melody who loves the sports channel.

Of course, they all need to learn their basic life skills: walking, talking and, um, toileting??

I took photographs of them all drinking from their bottles. They're such sweeties.

It's very cute watching them use the block table together.

Melody: Hey, look, I found a blue one!
Ariel: Ssh, I need to concentrate! I'm trying to fit this block up my nose!

Even though Ariel has completed her requirments, we've decided to wait until their actual birthday before they age up. That means they should get at least 5 days at school, even with Snowflake Day. That's plenty of time for Ariel to get on the honour roll... I hope!

Everything is so beautiful about your story - your founder, James' makeover (I've never played him thus didn't realise he's actually quite handsome!), the two sets of triplets (sorry you lost the first one =[). I think Madison might look like her mum when she's older, they have a similar style.

Thank you, Nettlejuice! So sorry about the lack of updates -- I've been rather preoccupied with the 4x4 and life in general.

Okay, seeing as this hasn't been updated for decades I've decided to send it over to the graveyard. I don't even know if I still have the file, I went on a bit of a clear out recently and this is possibly one of the ones I got rid of. Sorry about that!

My favourite food is Autumn Salad, my favourite music is Classical and my favourite colour is Blue.

I think that is all you need to know about me for now. Oh, one more thing. I will be heading to Moonlight Falls. There's someone there I need to meet.
