Just discovered simbots. Brilliant.

Is there a way to change their look in CAS & change their lifetime wish?

If Simbots gain Lifetime Happiness Points, you could get the Change Life Wish reward. I'm certain of a way to change their appearance, but you might be able to use the Edit in CAS cheat and re-colour it there.

Hmm. That's unfortunate. I remember that when Ambitions first was released, there wasn't a way to alter a Simbot's appearance. I thought Edit in CAS might work, since it came after Ambitions. Alas, it doesn't.

I haven't tried editing simbots, but if the cheat 'unlockoutfits on' is used the simbot hair and clothing is unlocked for everyone.  I've been able to put sims into simbot suits (the suit is essentially a simbot body, robo-legs and all).  It's possible if you use this cheat you'll be able to edit the simbot in CAS and swap one simbot suit for another.
