CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE

SEVEN DAYS UNTIL MY BIRTHDAY!!! WOO!!!

Beatrix somehow managed to fall victim to most of Tatiana's booby traps. You would think that she would notice something was up after the sink attacked her three times in the span of ten minutes.

Early Wednesday morning, the family gathered around to celebrate Tatiana becoming a teenager.

I wonder what she's going to wish for?

What are you wishing for, Tati?

Tatiana: I can't tell you or it won't come true.

With the candles blown out, it's time to age up.

Tatiana: Oh no, I'm hideous!

And Avant Garde!

While everyone got a slice of cake, the university mascot decided to ring the doorbell and scare the bajeezits out of me.

Then, I went to help Tatiana stop panicking about her appearance by giving her a new hairstyle I bought at the store. Notice how her bottom lip curls. I'll have to figure out which family member she got it from.

Despite the curly lip, Tatiana certainly looks quite pretty. I tried to keep her usual sunny wardrobe, while giving her a more rebellious look.

Everyday:

Formal:

Sleepwear:

She looks stunningly like her mother, though I do believe she has Christopher's eyes. The blonde hair and tan skin is a wonderful combination, isn't it?

I actually plan on sending Tatiana to university despite a degree not helping in the career I have planned out for her, but you'll all see why eventually. To prepare, I had her take the aptitude test to see if she could get any scholarships.

She scored a 900 out of 2400, so she didn't get any scholarships, but she did get eighteen credits towards a degree in fine arts.

Tatiana: I'll have to study harder if I want to beat the score you got on your ACT exam.

Good luck trying, I got an incredibly high score and a perfect score on the writing exam.

Tatiana: Sell-out.

Oh hush.

Since Tatiana lives in my head, I already knew what she wished for on her birthday candles. Since I like to spoil my heirs, I bought it or her.

Say hello to her shiny new motorcycle.

Since she is rebellious, riding on a motorcycle gives her a nice moodlet. Also, she won't need to suffer the stress of learning how to drive a car, which is nice. Vroom vroom!

Wait...Tatiana, what re you doing?!

Tatiana: Working on my SuperMax...?

BY VANDALIZING A WAREHOUSE??

Tatiana: I went and caught some bugs at Lost Willow Park, too, y'know.

Then vandalized the bathroom...

Nobody has gotten around to fixing the broken sink, so the entire dining area is currently flooded. You would think that a repairman would have come around by now.

Painting warehouses and public bathrooms just wouldn't cut it for Tatiana. She wanted something bigger! More high risk! More rebellious!

So she went to the to of the art museum...

...and painted this beautiful wall mural.

The next morning, poor Tatiana woke up on the wrong side of the bed. If she has mood swings like mine, we're all doomed.

DOOMED I SAY, DOOMED!

Yeah, I make that face in the mornings, too.

Victoria is still Mid-Life Crisis-ing something fierce, so I caved to her wish to remodel the house. Since I have penty of extra simoleons laying around, I decided to just build Tatiana's bedroom and bathroom now instead of waiting until she becomes a young adult.

Here is her new bedroom, done with red brick and dark blue metals:

That does it for my most of my picture backlog. Sorry, but now we all have to wait until Tuesday for another update. The good news is, I won't be going on any more trips until October and my last major hiatus will be for most of November because of National Novel Writing Month. Then there will be no more long waits unless I end up in the hospital again.

Knowing me, that'll probably happen. Lets hope it doesn't.

It's okay, hang in there! Just a few more hours to go as long as the bus is on time and I don't get off at the wrong stop.

Yes, she is. I really like her hair color. I may use it as a replacement in case someone ages up with the greenish brown hair or black hair.  ::)

A Royal Immortal Dynasty - Chapter Twenty-two (4/9/2013)

CHAPTER TWENTY-TWO

Beatrix: Hello, everyone. It's me, Beatrix Royale. Loon is in Algebra 2 right now, so she is letting me take over writing for a little while.

Technically I'm still writing, since you live in my head, but okay. Don't scare them off, Beatrix, and pray that my brain doesn't dribble out of my ears from my incredible stupidity when it comes to math.

Beatrix: I'll take care of them, don't worry. I'm very nurturing, you know. Okay, now on with the story!

%%%%%%%

Loon didn't just build Tatiana's new bedroom. She also added a large bathroom that will be able to be accessed from a future bedroom, and look! She gave us a washer and a dryer!

Though they're very expensive. *whimpers*

With the two new rooms added on, along with the new third floor (oh, the bills are going to be so high now...), the outside of the house looks different than before.

Here is the back of the house:

And the front, as well:

Now, unlike Loon, I can't oversee what everyone in the household is doing at the same time, but thankfully, she gave me a written record of everything that happened that was of importance to mention. Of course, since I'm writing, she can't stop me from adding my own opinions on everything I want. I need to persuade her to let me write more often.

Victoria: Mom, just because you can doesn't mean you should. Loon is sill in control and if you make her mad she just might make yo even more miserable.

...oh, right, what was I thinking...?

Tatiana met a boy named Brent Figueroa at school today. She certainly does know quite a few young men that would look rather handsome when cleaned up a bit. It's a pity that most of them are either paper boys or babysitters, but Victoria married a paper boy, and look how happy she is!

Her mood swing was still in full affect while she was at school, and at the end of the day, instead of coming home, she went back inside. I wonder what she was up to?

Loon: *whisper**whisper*

...SHE WHAT?!

I'm sorry, I lost myself for a minute there. Apparently, my granddaughter decided to release thousands of frogs into the principal's office. I don't know whether to be angry at her or impressed that she didn't get caught...

Anyway, upon coming home, she started to text this new boy she met, Brent. She tells me that he works as a babysitter. There are practically no children here in Riverview, so I wonder how he even manages to make money!

Since it was a Friday night, I was off at work, but Loon's notes say that Brent came over to visit shortly after I left for work.

Tatiana: He's pretty cute and he's Family-Oriented, so I started to put my charms on him.

Tatiana: Needless to say, it worked. We're going steady and we're going to prom together!

My little granddaughter is growing up so fast. It feels like it was only yesterday that I was helping to teach her how to walk...

Tatiana: Nanna! Stop it! Is Loon out of math class yet?

Christopher decided that the bathtub was much more comfortable than the couch or the chairs downstairs and read some of his student's college essays in the bathroom. I should get Loon to put more armchairs around the house...

Tatiana: The next morning I decided to prank Nanna by booby trapping her computer. Heh heh heh, hope she has fun "couponing"...

WHAT THE FRESH HECK IS WRONG WITH MY COMPUTER?!?!

Tatiana: SUCCESS! Anyway, while that was going down, I went to go finish a wall mural that I had started at the Warehouse. I got caught in the middle of it originally, so I had to lay low for a day or two. But now it's getting done! I want to paint three of them.

Tatiana: Of course, I almost got caught when I started a second mural, so I went and hid at the consignment shop for a little while. I ended up calling Brent at one point so that nobody would get suspicious of my loitering, and we started talking about what our plans for the future are. Marriage, having a family, getting good careers, stuff like that. I'm very excitable, so the whole conversation was very, well, exciting! I'm so excited to plan my future wedding. I want one just like Nanna had when she married grandpa Billy. Maybe she'll even let me wear her dress!

Tatiana came home from lord knows where and immediately started digging through the fridge to get some leftover fruit parfait before she got ready for prom. Her absolute favorite thing on this planet is fruit parfait, so I'm always making it to keep the fridge stocked. It's pretty much all she ever eats!

I'm not quite sure if I approve of her prom attire, though...

Tatiana: LOON! CAN YOU PLEASE TAKE OVER WRITING AGAIN?!

Tatiana: Finally, the limo arrived, but something went wrong. For some reason, Brent was at my house, but he also...wasn't, I think? I got in the limo, and he stayed on the front porch like a statue. The limo wouldn't move either, and I was getting impatient. I have prom shenanegins to pull, dang it!

Victoria told me that she peeked out the window upon hearing Tatiana's motorcycle roar, and saw her take off down the street for prom instead of riding in the limo. Bent disappeared, but Tatiana's prom pictures show that he was indeed there at the school. It was certainly a weird situation. I don't think even I ever saw something like that happen, and my entire home life as a child was extraordinarily strange...

Tatiana: Now the party don't start 'til I walk in...

Loon: Okay, you can give me the chapter back.

Alright, thank you for letting me write a bit. It was quite fun.

Victoria: Don't ever do it again.

Loon: No promises.

Amber: Is she starting to treat you guys badly, too?

Loon: AMBER! SHOO! BEFORE I CALL THE ALIENS!

%%%%%%

Oh, it's good to have control again...

After prom, I added a small coffee table to Tatiana's museum room for her prom picture and her crown. Oh, she didn't mention that she was chosen as prom queen? Just like her mother!

Victoria: I'm so proud of my girl!

Lets hope it becomes a family tradition!

And yes, I was working on this in math class. I have nothing to lose.

If I could pull off working on my story during math, I totally would. English, no. Math, oh yes. Anyway, the house looks great.

I plugged my iPod into my laptop, which gave me an excuse to keep it open.  ::)

I'm the same way. I'm completely inept when it comes to math and tend to not care, while I'm actually going to major in English.   ;D

The house... the house! It's a vision of beauty! My dynasty house is a very big box with several stories of boxiness. It makes floor plans easy. I love the house - the rest of the chapter was good, but the house is so pretty! *enter trance mode*

I'm so glad you like the house. Maybe I should do an entire chapter dedicated to the house.

She is definitely my favorite heir so far. She has some pretty frequent mood swings that result in absolute hilarity, and the faces she makes when she walks around critiquing things is hysterical.

They better. There are a lot of boys her age, but most of them have genetics that I wouldn't let within two miles of the dynasty house. Plus, I don't want to marry another paperboy.  :P

Hello all! I'm sorry for not updating for a while. My daily walks have been very tiring and upon getting home all the energy I have left is spent getting to the couch. It gets easier every day, so don't worry.

I have nothing to do today, and my birthday is tomorrow, so expect some updates to make up for my exhaustion.

And thank you to those of you who gifted me things from the Sims website for my birthday! That was very kind of you. :D

A Royal Immortal Dynasty - Chapter Twenty-three (10/9/2013)
« Reply #102 on: September 10, 2013, 03:22:38 PM »
CHAPTER TWENTY-THREE

So I spent all of yesterday and Sunday night playing with World Adventures in a test file with my Simself. She has quite the love for nectar.

Unfortunately, I lost my chapter notes from before getting World Adventures and the game crashed while I was playing last night (mercifully after everyone got home), so I have to do some of this from memory and re-do some things.

On the other hand, my birthday was fabulous. My best friend and another friend came over and we went out for Asian food, then ate a whole lot of cake. I also scratched my first lottery ticket and won a dollar. My party is this weekend, and then it's all calm until Halloween. Then NaNoWriMo starts and all heck will break loose. Don't be alarmed if the November chapters suddenly slide into something totally different.

Now then, since the page of notes I lost was on updates to the house and properties, I'll start with that.

Tatiana: Watch as you find the page the moment you submit this.

Then I will scream like a pterodactyl.

I haven't really shown you guys full images of the museum rooms yet, have I?

Beatrix's Room:

Victoria's Room:

Tatiana's Room:

Speaking of Tatiana, she went to continue vandalizing All The Rave Warehouse. Though this time, someone looking kind of like Holly Alto gave her a ti-AAARRGGH!

Beatrix: What's wrong Loon?!

MY CAT SNEEZED ON ME! GROSS!

When Tatiana was done, she thanked the woman.

Then it was off to complete another mura-oh, right, she got caught...

Tatiana: YOU'LL NEVER CATCH ME ALIVE, COPPERS!

Beatrix was unaware of the running teenager above ground, and travelled down into the museum for some reason...

Beatrix: Loon, it's okay for them to know you were just trying to get a good photo of me in my room.

...fine.

Beatrix: She'll show you all after this chapter.

Uh oh, looks like yet another moo-I FOUND MY NOTES!

Alright, brief recap. Just let me adjust my glasses...okay, lets see.

Recovering from Error Twelve...Tatiana took Victoria's adult photograph and wandered around the house trying to skill up...Long Distance Friend reward for Tatiana...installed the new patch...and Victoria completed "The Omnificent Plant", which means she has completed all of her BlackOps! One more best friend and all of her elder pieces to go!

Okay, now back to our regularly scheduled chapter!

Beatrix's trips to the consignment store don't disappoint in the free decorating department! Usually she goes a bit later in the day, and upon arrival there is sometimes a finished sketch on the sketch table. Free art!

I hung this one, done by Rhoda Bagely, on Tatiana's bedroom wall.

The new patch was godsend. After having Generations since I finished junior year (it was a reward for not having another stress-induced breakdown), I can finally use the canes! Beatrix walks like a southern gentleman with her cane.

I love the face she makes when she harasses the world. The poor paper girl was scarred for life.

Tatiana: I think we all were...save for you, the one with the crazy grandmother.

Don't remind me.

Beatrix is still trying to figure out why Don Lothario seems so familiar to her. She knows she knows him, but it was like an early memory from her time as a toddler. It was so long ago, almost like an entirely different life that was no longer hers.

The two became friends after a phone call, but the feeling still didn't shake.

With Billy gone, she feels as though she has no one to confide in. It's too soon for Victoria to know, and Tatiana is far too young and stubborn to understand. It's a heavy burden to bear all on her own, so while staying up late and watching television with Christopher, the only mortal in the house, she breaks down and tells him nearly everything.

He isn't too pleased about what he hears, but he agrees.

The next morning, he and Victoria discuss having a pond built on the property. She is usually so busy in the garden that she barely has any time for fishing, so a nearby pond stocked with just the right fish would do the trick and help her unwind.

While this was going down, I was happily working on Tatiana's property, The Water Hole Juice Bar. I made the downstairs a bit bigger, then added some nifty spiral staircases to capitalize on the flat rooftops.

The third floor and roof consists of a small cafe:

There is nothing added on the second floor just yet, but I plan on making it a nice place to dance.

On the first floor, I updated the drink bars and stools to more expensive and higher quality ones. The foosball tables were traded out for a ping-pong table, and some vending machines and a photobooth adorned the back of the building. The walls were also pushed out more to make room for two bathrooms.

A clue as to things to come...

A Royal Immortal Dynasty - Chapter Twenty-four (10/9/2013)
« Reply #103 on: September 10, 2013, 04:18:19 PM »
CHAPTER TWENTY-FOUR

Where are you going, Victoria?

Oh, I see!

Christopher had enough points to buy the Prepared Traveller lifetime reward, and with that the family set off for France. I know people usually go to China first, but I wanted some nectar and French things. A backup file was made, and they were off!

The Royale family safely arrived at base camp for a six-day vacation, and they immediately set out in search of fun. Tatiana made murals on the lawn, Christopher set off of the book shop, Victoria read, and Beatrix went off to get adventure supplies.

With the Moodlet Manager (in case of mummies or deadly bugs or fifty-foot tall iguana) in tow, Beatrix set out on an adventure in the hidden burial mound.

It took a long time...

...some back strain...

...lots of problem solving...

...and a rescue from the Moodlet Manager, but Beatrix was successful in her first tomb raid. Plus, she got visa points and thousand-year-old nectar out of it (though one would think that after that long it would have turned into vinegar by now...)!

It was hard for me to keep all four of them occupied while I was largely focussing on Beatrix not accidentally killing herself, so after I raided all of the gardens for their fruit and buying a bunch of books, I sent Victoria and Christopher home. I kept Tatiana around so she could work on her SuperMax.

Since Tatiana had the Collection Helper in her possession, I sent her off to find gems and metals after finishing a few murals. Now that I have the nice display cases that come with World Adventures, I could start a collection of gems. I'm trying to decide between a Sculptor's Egg Cut of every gem (because they look cool), a Skull Cut of every gem (because I'm oh so edgy like that), a Plumbob Cut of every gem (because it's cheap and pointy), or all three (because I'm insane).

Maybe I'll just start with Plumbob cuts and later add Sculptor's Egg cuts, since my sculpting immortal won't be for a little while longer...

Beatrix took some time to pick up some nectar to take home as a treat for everyone else. That thousand-year-old nectar is HERS.

Tatiana later joined her, overjoyed at all of the potential mayham she could case.

TATIANA, STOP! YOU'RE GOING TO CAUSE AN INTERNATIONAL INCIDENT!

Then there was a nice camping trip to The Rose Campground to finish off the day.

The next morning, Tatiana returned to base camp while Beatrix went off on another adventure. She excitedly called Brent to tell him all about the wonders of France and how they should TOTALLY COME HERE for their honeymoon...

...then called her mother to discuss gardening. Victoria asked Tatiana to check the little island for rare grapes at some point during the trip.

Victoria went around making friends for adventures...

...then later discovered a secret garden with a grave in it. What kind of house is this?!

Tatiana: ...don't you have your grandfather's ashes...?

There was also some treasure underneath the garden, and a whole cask-what the heck?! Who keeps a casket in their basement?!

Tatiana: YOU HAVE DEAD PEOPLE ON YOUR MANTLE!

I didn't feel like potentially dealing with a mummy, so I left it as it was.

Meanwhile, Tatiana managed to swim to the little island (thanks Seasons patch!), harvest the grapes for her mother, and hightail it back to camp.

Nearly at Visa level two, Beatrix was tasked with learning the art of nectar-making. I purchased a nectar maker to keep at home so the immortals would have something to do without accidentally maxing out a future SuperMax.

Please, please tell me your feet are clean...

...I ain't drinking that.

Hopefully that thing cleans the nectar so it doesn't taste like feet.

I checked on Tatiana's street art skill while Beatrix was making nectar, and was overjoyed to learn that Tatiana had not only maxed it, she had completed two of the three skill challenges!

While waiting for the nectar to process, Beatrix decided to take a little swim...
