Only a little less than a week left until I go home.

I can only take so much more poor internet connections and noisy yip dogs.  >:(

I have a friend bringing me salvation on Saturday. She's a major Sims addict and she's coming to visit me, and she's bringing her Sims with her. I WILL BE SAVED.

I can count the days until my return on one hand.

Three days left, then I can put my plot in motion.

ARGH.

CHAPTER SIXTEEN

I'm BAAAAAACK!~

Beatrix: Finally!

Victoria: Done you guys know how hard it is to be trapped in the mind of a crazed seventeen-year-old's mind with at least a hundred other people for two whole weeks?

There's more than you two in there right now?!

Victoria: Yes! All of your characters are in here!

Amber: 'Sup?

AMBER! HOW ARE YOU ALIVE!??

Amber: You haven't officially killed me off yet.

...oh, right...

Amber: And even then, I'll just go to wherever all of the other characters you've killed are. We're all still here.

Oh whyyyyyy...

Amber: Anyway, thanks for letting me visit, Beatrix. I needed to get away from my mom and siblings for a bit.

This isn't your story, Amber! Go back to 4015, where you belong!

Amber: Hooray, back to the land of radiation and suffering in a post-apocalyptic Norway. Later.

...when did she get so snarky?

Victoria: Beats me.

Well, lets just get on with the story.

After two weeks away from my Sims, I was desperate to do some building. So, I made a hot tub area just off of Beatrix and Billy's deck for the whole family. So worth turning memories on just for the tub, heh heh...

Victoria: Just buy Late Night, cheapskate.

Beatrix: I understand you, Loon.

Here's a nice seating area where someone can supervise, even though you can't drown in a hot tu-

Victoria: Your best friend had to save you from a hot tub!

This is me, Victoria. I fall up stairs.

A recolored hot tub to match the staircases and a small stereo:

The whole place:

I also put in a new garden gate. I think it fits in much better than the old one.

I set Tatiana to work in reading the painting books. I still can't decide on either Street Art or Painting for her SuperMax skill. Street Art raises the painting skill, so I would have to keep that away from everybody too, as well as the easels. Eh, I'll figure it out later.

Billy is shirtless and laughing. This can only mean one thing.

Yep, Christopher aged up to adult today!

Please no Mid-Life Crisis, please no mid-Life Crisis...

Ah shoot, he got a Mid-Life Crisis.

Some relaxation in the hot tub with his much younger and gorgeous wife should ease up some of the panic.

Beatrix cleaned up the plates and gave Tatiana a bottle, then decided to join Christopher and Victoria.

The cycle of being nocturnal is starting to rear it's ugly head once more as Victoria, Christopher, and Tatiana went to bed, but Billy and Beatrix stayed up a bit later to just spend some time together. Billy will be passing away soon, and that will throw everything off for a while. It's a good idea to let him spend some extra time with his wife.

The two have some things they need to discuss before Billy dies and Beatrix lives forever.

Billy promises to take Beatrix's secrets to the grave. It's not time for everyone to know her reasoning.

Yet.

The next day started off ridiculously early (curse this nocturnal streak) with Tatiana crawling into her toybox.

After breakfast, Christopher popped a special Mid-Life Crisis wish to get some new clothes. I was happy to oblige and gave him a more professional look for his everyday wear.

Victoria did some gardening in her pajamas. She's at level nine of the gardening career (and she still has eight days until she becomes an adult!), and lately there has been an overflow of death flowers being grown. I'd like to see Grim try to get his boney mits on Beatrix now!

Beatrix spent her morning teaching Tatiana how to walk in the same place she taught Victoria. It's a cute little cycle, isn't it?

A few hours of hard work paid off, and Tatiana could walk. Now all she needs is to be potty trained!

Welcome back!! Congrats on buying  new expansion, too. Late Night is probably one of the best, from what I've seen. Happy birthday Christopher.

Oh, I didn't buy Late Night. I'm going to wait until I have a new computer to get it. World Adventures will be the last expansion that I'm going to be getting until then. Then when I have my own computer I'll get all of them.  ;D

CHAPTER SEVENTEEN

Beatrix: Shouldn't you be in school...?

I only have one class later today. Everything else starts later this week.

Beatrix: Continue.

Christopher's Mid-Life Crisis continued into the next day. He wanted to flirt with one of his coworkers at the school, but that ain't happenin' anytime soon.

After work, he went home to play with his daughter for a bit.

I've been figuring out the keyboard controls a little more each time I play, so my screenshots have been getting better. Here's a shot of Billy doing a guitar skill marathon so he can get his lifetime wish. I'm pretty sure he has enough lifetime happiness points as is for the big headstone, but I just want to make sure. He is 89 days old, so it's crunch time. I may have to invest in some herbs so that he'll skill up faster.

Another shower gave up and let the curse take it away. It's getting to the point where I'm thinking of shifting around my plans so that the generation that SuperMax's handiness will come sooner. I don't think the funds can take much more of a beating from constant plumbing breakages.

After replacing the shower, I set Christopher to work on his biography of Hannah Jones. She's younger than Beatrix because for some reason instead of starting out at the very beginning of the young adult stage, Beatrix was already very close to aging up to adult when I put her in Riverview. I spent ten minutes debating whether or not to do something to her age so she would start out at the beginning, but I decided not to. She managed to make it to immortal anyway, so no worry. It also gave her an advantage of being older than most of the young adults around town, so they were more likely to still be alive by the time she became elder. Score!

Christopher ended up getting stressed out, so I had him take Tatiana out for a stroll. They don't really have much of a relationship compared to Tatiana and Victoria, so I'm setting out that change that.

I added a second level to the museum so that I would have a memorial space for all of the spouses. Unfortunately, I forgot to grab a picture, but it was divided up into six sections, with each having a large frame for pictures and a bit of extra space for diplomas, awards, and other doodads.

I did, however, get a picture of some of Victoria's trophies after I finally remembered to put them in her museum room. She has the Hero Trophy from her impressive gardening feats, her crown from being prom queen, and a molecular model she got on a field trip to the science center when she was a child.

Tatiana is a fun toddler to have around. Her favorite color is actually violet, but I chose to dress her in warm, sunny colors instead. They seem to go well with her tan skin and blonde hair. Victoria primarily wears green because of her love of gardening, while her favorite color is also violet. Beatrix likes pink, but I dress her in darker colors becaus-

Beatrix: Stop right there. It's too early to reveal that.

Sorry, sorry...

Anyway, fun, sunny toddler. She's luring everyone into a false sense of security.

Why a false sense of security? One, I have big plans. And two...

Her quietness as a baby didn't carry over in to her toddler years. Dang, this thing can SCREAM.

I'm never having kids.

Victoria was getting stir-crazy, so she took Tatiana out for some fresh air.

And forgot to dress her. She's channeling her grandfather.

They eventually ended up at the library and read all of the toddler books on painting. Even after some sleep I still can't decide on Street Art or painting...

Speaking of painting, Christopher used his morning productively. He'll have to take over painting once Billy dies, and since Billy is now ninety days old I need to get cracking. Victoria snapped a few photos on her smart phone, so she should be able to produce decent quality photographs until I let Tatiana take over that as well. It won't be a SuperMax, so I can create a world-class gallery of photographs from the whole family once someone buys out the art museum.

That night was chaotic. Tatiana refused to go to bed, I didn't manage to get Billy to max out the guitar skill, and Victoria developed a sleeping problem eerily similar to mine.

Victoria: We live in your head, siphoning off your issues and absorbing them into ourselves was bound to happen eventually. You should see the guys from NaNoWriMo '11, they never sleep.

That's because of the ghosts, dear.

Anyway, despite being exhausted, Victoria decided that she would crawl out of her nice, comfy bed and go play in the sprinklers. Thankfully, I managed to catch her and put her back. Normal people don't play in the sprinklers at two in the morning, Victoria!

Hooray for a potential triple-post!

I would recommend Street Art for Tatiana's supermax. You skill up really quickly and the requirements are not very complicated. Although...could you imagine cute, sunny Tatiana vandalising a warehouse or something? Aah, I can see why you're stressed! :o

Maybe I'll just stop trying to pick one and just SuperMax both. That could make for a new challenge...an Immortal Dynasty with two SuperMax requirements...

I can imagine it pretty well, actually. Tatiana is ever so slightly based off of one of my characters from a novel I started in 2012 (freakily enough they even look similar  :o), and they have very similar personalities. Though I plan on Tatiana being much nicer and sunnier. She just likes to get a thrill every once in a while.

Aah, that makes sense. She does have an audacious little glint in her eye...
