CHAPTER FOURTEENLittle Tatiana's traits are
Excitable and
Artistic, much unlike her namesake (this is where you all try to guess who it is). I think you can all easily guess what her SuperMax skill will be.
Victoria spent some time snuggling with her daughter so that they could build their relationship up. I would have opted for a home birth so that they would already have a higher relationship, but Christopher had dragged Victoria off to the hospital before I could react. Oh well, looks like we have to do this manually.
Grandma Beatrix is also spending lots of time with her new granddaughter. Tatiana brings her even closer to her goal, but it is still such a long way off before she can go home.
Playing with Tatiana brings back memories of when Victoria was just an infant. Now everyone is older and more tired, but there is still this little bundle of joy to liven things up. Since Victoria and Christopher sleep upstairs and the nursery is downstairs, Beatrix and Billy will be the ones taking care of late night emergencies. Unless, of course, Victoria sleeps in the nursery, but the bed upstairs more comfortable. Comfort is a priority for Victoria, since she just gave birth to a baby.
Christopher had gone to bed the moment they got home from the hospital, but he was the next one up to go and play with his little girl.
She's much quieter than her mother.
Speaking of her mother, Victoria is way ahead on her requirements to become immortal. She SuperMaxed gardening while she was pregnant with Tatiana, and she achieved her lifetime wish of
The Perfect Garden the morning after she gave birth. She still has about fourteen days to go until she ages up to adult. Overachiever much?
Beatrix: At least this time around you won't be flying into a mad panic when she hits elder. This time you can just paint, photograph, and go.
Yeah, this is great. I can focus on Best Friends and lifetime rewards now...speaking of which, I bought Victoria's first unique lifetime reward,
Super Green Thumb, which is probably what rocketed her right to finishing her lifetime wish.
Beatrix got yet another inheritance while Victoria went through her garden, Billy played guitar, and Christopher wrote. Afterwards, she went to get the mail, bringing in a whole flood of wedding gifts. One of them was a foosball table, which was placed in the huge empty space upstairs, and then there was an expensive statue that was sent by none other than Jane Royale. It was promptly sold with several other expensive paintings that were given as gifts and Victoria's haul from the gardening, putting the family past 100,000 simoleons for the first time since I sold Billy's expensive car to build the initial house.
With all of this new money, I began to do some massive changes to the house. Nothing got torn down, but I added on several things. The first order of business was to create a new painting studio so that Beatrix and Victoria won't be getting near the easels. I left one down in the main room so that portraits can be painted without needing to lock and unlock doors, but it's easier to watch just one easel.
Anyway, here is the new painting studio:
I did an update to the first bathroom and the nursery bathroom, since enough toilets had broken since I started this dynasty. I finally put in some porcelain thrones, and that will hopefully be an end to half of the Royale Family Plumbing Curse. Lets hope it doesn't spread to electrical objects next, those are expensive.
Next, I did an update to the exterior of the house. I added two balconies (one over the front door, the other over the nursery deck) and a deck off of the dining room. From there, I made a path to the garden. Now Victoria won't have to go through the nursery or her parent's bedroom to get back there!
I also made the studio have a sort of deck, but nobody can go out on it. It's only there because I think it looks pretty.

If you look closely, you can see an outline of the original house:
We sure have come a long way from this:
I have to say, this is by far the best house I have built in the game so far. Normally I'm terrible at building larger houses and tend to stick to building microscopic houses on little 10x10 lots.
Though I still have no idea what to do with the barn loft. Any suggestions?
I bought Christopher the
Long Distance Friend lifetime reward since he finally got enough points to do so. He also got a wish to join the education career, so I let him. Billy and Victoria are home all of the time, and Beatrix is home on weekdays, so I don't have to worry about supervision for Tatiana. While he was at the school, I also had Christopher take a painting class. Billy is eighty-five days old and spends most of his time working on completing his lifetime wish,
Master of the Arts, so I'm going to need someone to be around to paint some of Tatiana's portraits. He's already only a few days from aging up to adult, so I'm hoping that we won't have some sort of crisis that results in a major skilling marathon or risking letting Victoria or Beatrix learn just enough painting skills to paint a portrait. That will cause problems both in the game and outside, since I'll probably be panicking the whole way through...
Anyway, when Christopher got home, he immediately went to the art studio and began painting. Good, good, this is good.
Victoria: Don't get ahead of yourself, Loon. Just relax and enjoy the game.
It was getting later in the day when Victoria went to give Tatiana a bottle and some snuggles.
Then, they went out for a stroll together. Right down the same road that Billy took Victoria for strolls on.
Just look at this precious face!
