Yes that's true, but I like keeping sims as their self. No plastic surgery, no changing hair color, and no makeup on kids or teens. I'm kind of weird like that

Anyway I can't wait to see Margrethe as a child. I love her name, too!
Have you noticed that I'm kind of insane when it comes to genetics?

Congrats on Margrethe's birthday! She is adorable ;D Also congrats on getting into the university you wanted!

I love the picture of the baby stroller incident, haha! I have no idea why its so funny since it happens to me all the time...

I'd only really do some modifications if something went horribly wrong. I think adding some makeup adds a little bit of flair and more personality. Like, a punk teenager with really flamboyant makeup.

I'd love the link. Also, Margrethe is adorable. I hope she and Gustav are happy together (eventually). The only problem with IF spouses is that they have the generic townie face.

I'll note you!

I hope so too!

Hey guys! I finally made a family tree for the Royale family, which can be found right here: http://www.familyecho.com/?p=D84ME&c=1zowf55mn6&f=687069225691899233

Looking through it should provide some clues to who Beatrix is.  ;) Note me your theories.

I've been considering for my second generation's spouse in my immortal dynasty to be an imaginary friend, yet she is a toddler and hasn't received. But quick warning: your imaginary friend could have horrific traits. One I've had before was Evil, Friendly, Coward, Family Orientated and Snob. I discovered this after cheating him into the house. Just a small warning.

I just learned that Gustav has the snob trait, but it's nothing that a midlife crisis or personality reprogram can't fix.

Great family tree! Unfortunately my knowledge of the Royal Family (the real one) is pretty limited,  so I have no idea 'who Beatrix really is'. I'm sure some people have interesting theories to share.

No, she's not tied to any real royal family. I just named her after the former Dutch queen because I liked the name. If you haven't figured it out already, everyone in the family except for the spouses is named after a European queen, princess, or duchess (yes, there is a difference between a princess and a duchess, I did a huge research project on it sixth grade).

Beatrix is tied to a family in the Sims universe.

CHAPTER FORTY-FIVE

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!

Tatiana: That is the sound of Loon doing poorly on NaNoWriMo this year. Never fear, she'll still win.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!

Beatrix: We're in for the long haul...

Noelle: Can I hang out in here with yous guys? I'm busy hidin' from Leslie.

Tatiana: Holy accent!

Noelle: I'm from Central Pennsylvania, whaddya expect? Loon based my pattern of speakin' off hers.

Tatiana: Does Loon really sound like that...?

Yes. I do. You should hear me when I'm angry, it gets real bad.

Victoria: You sound almost southern.

Living in the backwoods does that to you.

Elisabeth: Hey, you should type this entire chapter in your accent! Phonetically!

...well, alright...but only this one time!

%%%%%

Elisabeth almost immediately began potty trainin' Margrethe after Tatiana painted her portrait and took her photograph.

There was good news from Tatiana, 'cause she finally, FINALLY maxed out her career. Shes got all her best friends, so now we need the photo and portrait. She charms snakes durin' her days off.

Just look at the lil' cutie!

Great great grandma makes really good food, doesn't she?

Grandma likes to tickle. It's hard to keep her off of Margrethe.

'Course, everyone else gets to spend time wit' her. Daddy gets to teach her to talk!

Great great grandma does too!

Grandma takes her on trips to the art museum.

An' mommy provides the snuggles and teaches her to walk! Victoria also helped wit' the walkin', but I forgot to take a picture.

Margrethe throws a lot of tantrums. Now that I'm becomin' a pro wit' the nooboos, I know just how long they can go without certain needs bein' met. 'Course, sometimes I forget an' Margrethe screams the whole house down.

One night got pretty bad. Margrethe was so tired that she wouldn't sleep in the swing! She just sat there an' screamed and screamed.

Luckily Beatrix was still awake an' she came to the rescue. She tucked Margrethe into her crib and all was well.

Thanks to the sleepin' elixers that Elisabeth makes, Beatrix can get a full night's sleep in just under an hour. Beatrix needs to paint Tatiana when she turns elder, so all the extra time she gets goes to paintin'!

"WOAH WAIT" you might have cried as you suddenly realize that in a picture up there, Tatiana had a different outfit and hairstyle on. Well...

There's your explanation. Her normal hairstyle isn't available to elders, so I chose one that looked somewhat similar.

Everyday:

Formal:

Sleepwear:

Tatiana is an elder now, and then the next day Jimmy followed and turned adult.

His mid-life crisis made him want some new clothes, so I put him in a Dutch soccer uniform for his new athletic wear 'cause my best friend is from the Netherlands.

And there you have it folks, that's what I sound like.

A Royal Immortal Dynasty - Chapter Forty-six (8/11/2013)
« Reply #239 on: November 08, 2013, 09:26:45 PM »
CHAPTER FORTY-SIX

So after that little adventure where my characters force me to type in my accent...

Behind the main plot of Margrethe being cute, Elisabeth got two BlackOps, "Caring for the Careless" and "Crocodile Hunting". Both have been completed, leaving four to g-never mind, she just got the "Equipment Needs" op. Time to run all over Riverview!

Jimmy's mid-life crisis isn't treating him well. He actually wanted to divorce Elisabeth! Instead, I gave him a shiny "new" 1982 DeLorean. Because he's a scientist.

Tatiana: Loon, stop it with the nerd humor.

Noelle: ...wait, a 1982 DeLorean...? But...I live in 1986 an' there are no DeLoreans.

Personal cars are illegal where you are, Noelle. Anyway, I named it Lorraine.

Noelle: My biological mom's name was Lorraine!

The floor hygienators just haven't been working out lately. Everyone in the house has been getting nauseous, so I removed most of them, and once Margrethe ages up to child I'm taking the one under the crib and the swing out until the next generation comes along. To get an idea of how bad its been...

All of the other toilets were occupied with puking household members. They need to GO.

Margrethe's toddler days breezed by, and the family found themselves huddled around a birthday cake. Elisabeth had to leave for work shortly after the festivities, so she was already in her doctor's coat.

Way to go, Margrethe, the cutest toddler of the Royale Dynasty! You're five years old now!

No dynasty is complete without an Artistic, Insane Heavy Sleeper!

Margrethe wasn't the only one celebrating a birthday...

I threw purple into the orange color scheme, because I like the two colors together. I'm aiming for an elegant gothic lolita look for Margrethe. Hilariously enough, the fifth generation of my first dynasty was also an insane elegant gothic lolita, only she was named Gwendolyn and she wore various shades of green.

Everyday:

Formal:

Sleepwear:

Who are you talking to, Margrethe?

Gustav!

The next day was the first day of school, so Margrethe got up early like her mother and they read books together after breakfast.

Elisabeth was still at work when Margrethe got home from school (after going in her athletic wear...this is going to be fun), so Beatrix carried on the tradition of homework help in front of the garbage.

Everyone was lacking in fun, so I fulfilled Margrethe's wish to own a hopscotch court and sent everyone out to play. Beatrix failed miserably...

...and Victoria showed us how it's done.

After a shower, Margrethe went to bed in her formal wear. I forgot how much I liked insane sims.

Meanwhile, Beatrix had some local business to do at the town cemetery, as she had finally remembered who Don Lothario was after seeing the painting of a crying woman in a wedding gown that Brent had made...

In other news, Beatrix managed to get to level seven of the painting skill. She painted Tatiana and took several photographs, and then it was done.

Ladies and gentlemen...

...Tatiana Royale...

...is immortal.
