Moodlets for diving not showing
« on: July 21, 2013, 02:00:24 PM »
I have an issue with the moodlets: they simply don't show up. In theory, my sims could dive as long as they want. I also have an issue with the caves, which has been discussed in this thread: http://www.carls-sims-3-guide.com/forum/index.php/topic,16678.0.html
Adding to that is that the same thing happens to me if the sim is just swimming around. I have some nRaas mods, if that helps.

Well, I don't play with mods, but if, I would first remove them and see what happens next. About the moodlets for diving I'm not quite sure what you mean. If your sim doesn't have the iron lung, you see moodlets for comfortably breathing or not. Once they got the iron lung, those moodlets won't show any more - which makes sense in a way because you can - theoretically - dive forever. The exploring of the caves is indeed a known glitch and I don't know any way around it. I struggled yesterday myself and tried with and without focusing the camera on my sim - it didn't make a difference. I usually wait the decompressing time and then go back immediately and try again. In most cases the 2nd try works.

I will try that.

I mean that I don't get any moodlets that have to do with diving at all: none of the described comfortable breathy or decompressing time.

If you're not afraid of NRAAs mods, I use Debug Enabler to fix the cave issue.
You use the Debug Enabler to reset the cave while your Sim is on the lot about to go in and explore and you won't have any issue with resetting. As for the moodlets, what mods do you use exactly? There could be a conflict with some of Nraas mods (Master Controller was acting weird with I.P. for me at least and the version he has out is a "test" version) which may be causing your moodlet issue.
