Kalama: I'd be good with anyone, but can I request Nihm, or Nadine, or Mordo? They seem to be amongst those that infuriate me the least. At the opposite end of the spectrum is Xander and Zeus and Brooke.

Kalama: Hey, they know it too, I doubt they're interested in dancing around the subject and covering it with rainbow sprinkles.
Squirt: Some people don't have your sort of tact.
Kalama: And what you mean is...
Squirt: Well, you do have trouble being civil.

You know how sometimes a puppy might come running up to a cat, because it wants to play and it finally worked up the courage to nip at the cat's tail, and instead of a fun game, the puppy gets a swat across the nose, falls over backwards, and manages to look utterly rejected, embarrassed and confused at the same time? Yeah, that's pretty much Sophie's expression for a brief moment.

Then she gets it together again, and steps in front of Nimh, arms crossed and chin up, looking around for the man... er, god... himself, to see how he finally responds. No sense going down without a fight, even if the odds of Zeus choosing her over a fellow immortal might be slim. 

"Nothing to be sorry for, Dirt Girl. But I think it's up to Zeus, at this point."
