Now, I must say that I love A's new shirt. Does it represent that this is like poker and you have to keep a poker face? Or is it just because it's a great Ausette pattern?

If it's hard for you, imagine how I feel! I'm used to being privy to all knowledge! I put the spoilers on! *sigh* Well, at least that's an upside to being terrible at deduction--when I can't figure out the Mole, I'll get to read everything. I'm feeling awfully paranoid that Mordo was complaining about Brooke, though.

Don't worry. Mordo hasn't developed any feelings of ill will towards his competitors yet.

While I do appreciate the how that shirt seemed to suit the situation, I admit I used it solely because it's a great Ausette pattern. The other one of hers I used is a bit more fitting, though.

The Mole Season 2.5: The First Challenge Part 2

A: All right, I think we've given our contestants enough time to chat. Plus, I'm sure you're all anxious to see what's going on. Let's take a look at the groups, shall we? First stop is Nihm and Alec.

A: So, you've got your statements all prepared, Nihm?
Nihm: Yup. Ready to be amazed, Alec?
Alec: Lay it on me.
Nihm: Okay, here they are.

"As a child, I had a 3 legged dog." - Kalama Welder
"My dad was in the military." - Sophie Beckett
"The only dish I've never burned is peanut butter and jelly." - Nihm Eterna

Alec: Hmm. I'm going to deduce this with the power of logic!
Xander: Yeah, that's going to happen.
Alec: Would you just hush up for one minute.
Xander: Fine. Use your precious logic, however little of it you possess.
Alec: I will!

Alec: Well, I'm pretty sure Sophie is telling the truth. Didn't she say something about being a military brat? I'm pretty sure she did.
Xander: Lucky her.
Alec: Kalama hasn't said much about her childhood, so it could go either way there. But what about Nihm?
Xander: Crazy dirt lady, if you ask me.
Alec: Not only is peanut butter and jelly pretty tough to burn, since there's no fire involved, surely a garden lover like Nihm would've encountered autumn salad by now.
Xander: I dunno. Those crazy legacy people can go centuries without cooking. All they do is eat that ambrosia stuff.
Alec: I think those are Dynasties.
Xander: Whatever.
Alec: So, I'm going to say that Kalama and Sophie are telling the truth, and Nihm is telling a tall tale.
Xander: And if she's not, maybe we ought to introduce that Daniel bloke to her.

A: Sounds good to me! See you later.
Alec: Wait! I don't get to find out if I'm right?
A: You will! Eventually.
Nihm: You sure do love The Waiting Game, don't you?
A: I'll answer that later.

A: How are you guys doing?
Evie: Pretty good, I guess. I'm just anxious for these statements. When do I get to hear them?
A: Right now, if Mordo's ready.
Mordo: Sure. Let me read them off.

"Hi, I am Daniel. I am a master cook, I work as an Ingredient Taster in the Diner. And I am also a gardener and a fisherman." - Daniel Pleasant
"I would do anything for my friends. I will face the greatest challenges just to help them. I also throw awesome parties." - Mordo Jay
"I hate blondes." - Zeus Olympia

Mordo: Those shouldn't be too hard for you, right?
Evie: Are you kidding? You guys should've tried harder!
Mordo: Then who is it?
Evie: The liar in Group 3 is...
Evie: ZEUS OLYMPIA! He is a liar, liar, pants on fire! I'd expect more from a God. Bring on the games!

A: You're very confident, aren't you? Hope that doesn't backfire on you.
Evie: Says the one who just dropped his eighth glass of nectar.
A: ... I'll check on you guys in a little while.
Mordo: See ya.

A: Well, you're a real box of joy today, aren't you Brooke?
Brooke: Don't be silly, A! Everyone knows boxes can't be joyful. Who would want that? Besides, of course I'm happy! I get to say our word-lying-truthiness things! Yay!
A: Of course. What was I thinking?
Brooke: Okay, are you ready, Maxi?

Brooke: I bet you'll never be able to guess them. They're really tough! Cracking a turtle's shell with a broken pencil would be easier than cracking the case on these statements!
Maxi: I think I can handle them, Brooke. What did the group come up with?
Brooke: Okay, here it goes.

"I love all sorts of animals." - Brooke Ashland
"My mother is an elf." - Nadine Durwood
"Despite what you may think, I am not only a Green Thumb, but a highly skilled Scuba Diver as well." - Roy Bellinger

Brooke: Yay! Okay, you can guess any time. We're going to win this!
Maxi: Well, of course you're telling the truth, Brooke. I mean, how many times have you talked about animals? Like 2,000 times!
Maxi: Now, I'm pretty sure one of Nadine's parents are an elf, but I'm sure which one. But I don't ever remember Roy mentioning the word Scuba. So, I guess I have to go with Roy as the liar.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

A: Well, you've heard it all, folks! Our three Guessers have made their guesses. Next time on The Mole, we'll learn who really was telling the truth. Until then, I'll see you on the forum!

Since our Guessers have already locked in their guesses, you readers can make your own guesses about these statements. All will be revealed in the next update, but it'd be interesting to hear your conclusions.

Nihm still looks very good in your game, Audren. I was worried, especially because anyone who knows me knows that CC is my crutch, haha.

P.s. Nadine and Nihm look like they could be sisters in this picture. Nose and face shape. Not skin, obviously.

Nihm: You're right. I've always been the charitable type, so allowing you to share in some of my vastly superior genetic inheritance would be a wish of mine.

I just noticed Nadine has the exact same hair colour as Zack Callahan. Which makes sense, because he and Zoe are twins. Does that mean Nadine is Rose's cousin?

Kalama is rather pleased with you, Blayzen. I wonder why? ;)
I suppose it must be because she'd do well in the Hunger Games.

I aim to please! And it has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that Kalama scares me just a little bit... ;) Yes, I do believe she'd do quite well in The Hunger Games!

EDIT: I forgot to tell you which one of the Tellers wasn't telling the truth to the Guessers.

1. For some reason, I just can't picture Kalama with a 3-legged dog and have come to the conclusion that she is not telling the truth.

2. Even though Brooke seems like an animal lover, I think that there might be an animal out there that scares her which would make her statement of loving all animals false. (Wouldn't a monster be considered an "animal?")

3. Last but not least is Mordo. I don't have any evidence that he's lying but there's just something about his statement that seems off. I would like to believe that he'd do anything for his friends and that he throws awesome parties but the voices are telling me not to trust him. So I don't. ;)

Final Answer: Kalama, Brooke & Mordo are not telling the truth.
