Anyway, now that the groups have been selected and formed, I can actually spill the beans about what's really going on here. Guessers and Tellers? What kind of madness is this?
Well, the key to any good competition is getting to know your potential allies and rivals. Therefore, as our first challenge, we'll be having a little bit of sharing!
Each group has three Tellers and one Guesser. The three Tellers will each come up with a statement about themselves. Two of the Tellers will say something true about themselves, while one Teller will say something false among themselves. It's up to the Tellers to determine which Teller is lying, but don't let the Guesser know! That's their job.
Once the three Tellers have their statements, they will present them to the Guesser. The Guesser's job is to guess which one of the three statements are false. If they are correct, 20 points are added to the pot. If they are incorrect, no points are added to the pot. Therefore, this challenge has a maximum yield of 60 points, though it very well may be less. There are no exemptions for this challenge, hidden or otherwise.
