Wild Horses - about the tails and manes
« on: July 19, 2013, 03:20:29 AM »
Hello lovely Carl's Sims people.

It annoys me that the wild horses galloping around, no matter which world you're living in, often have plaited manes and tails.  Who does this? Do the townies befriend them, plait away and then let them go?  Or perhaps the horses get together for girlie pajama parties, plait their hair and paint their hooves?  Whatever the reason, it annoys me.  Obviously more than it should.

Anyway, I wondered if there was a way of restricting the way wild horses are generated by the game?

Either that or perhaps you can come up with a really good reason for their plaited manes and tails which will satisfy my irritated imagination.

Many thanks!

Dellena

You cannot restrict it, I'm afraid.  However, with the testingcheatsenabled true cheat on, you can shift+click on the wild horse and edit it in CAS to change their manes and tails.

Welcome to our Forum, Tarante11a.

It's probably not a good reason, but the reason horses have various manes and tails is simply because the game generates them like that.  It's actually a random thing, similar to hairstyles and clothing of new townies that move to town.  Dellena's suggestion about changing them is a good one, I think, if you really just don't want to look at the ones that get generated.
