Unable to collect

There are several places where my Sims are unable to collect the minerals/stones that are there.  There is a glowing tiberium on one of the Mermaid's Secret Islands and a mineral on the island where the grocery store is.  They go partially up to it then stomp and wave.  For the tiberium one the cue just drops and it can't be picked up.  Is anyone else having this issue?

It could be a routing problem.  Try having them come at it from a different side of the island.  Or if you want to cheat it, just teleport to it.

I'v had this problem too with gems and a bird... don't have a solution, sorry, just wanted to confirm that it'snot just you...

I'm having this problem sometimes too. Teleporting doesn't help necessarily because there are places you can't teleport to. You need to teleport close by and then try to advance from different directions.

Yeah, teleporting doesn't do it.  The tiberium is on a perfectly flat spot and you can come at it from any angle you wish but you still can't pick it up.  Also noticing a problem with the consignment store.  Same old issue of you can talk to the attendant but you can't buy or consign and resetting him doesn't help.

Joria, in regards to the consignment store, are you talking about the regular one or the elixir one?

I ran into that issue with the elixir one (and the stuff that had been consigned the day prior suddenly stopped selling for a week). I fixed it by cancelling the consignments and taking it to the regular one, and relisting everything (and made 40k simoleans that same day).

The other option, I believe, was purchasing the venue, and replacing the register.

It was the regular one.  IP doesn't have the elixir one yet.  I'll be adding that and the other SN things sooner or later as well as ST venues.  I'll try canceling the consignments.  I believe that was the cure the last time as well.  It usually only happens if you have more than 5 items to consign, which makes it a royal pain if you have a lot of stuff!

EDIT:  I actually think there is glitch in the game as far as gathering goes.  Today Triton could not gather one of the fish underwater.  It was in plain sight but you couldn't even get the cursor to indicate you could pick it up.  Others he picked up just fine.

If you have Twallan's MasterController, you could try resetting the whole world and see if that works.
