Okay. So last week I had all these pre-made sims and everything was perfect. I installed IP and suddenly I can't view any of my pre-made sims (except for 3 of them that were simpacks) but the 3 I can see I can click on them but they won't ever load from the pre-made sims folder into actual CAS. Any of the .sim people don't exist, even some of the simpack sims keep un-installing themselves so I'm forever in a loop of re-installing over and over again.
I've removed all of them and re-installed them one by one but none of them are crashing the game...they just don't appear (except the 3 who do) but don't load from the premade folder into actual sims.
What has gone wrong? Is it IP? I did a semi-factory reset so they are all fresh downloads, all fresh game...everything is new again. Why does it hate me!? (I did a semi-factory reset because all of a sudden all my saves were corrupt and nothing was working, I thought starting new might solve my problem because I was already having to abandon my families...but I'd like to start with some of the same characters if possible! It's just difficult to remember exactly how I made them ages ago [hence why they were saved!] and now trying to re-make them is nearly impossible)
I have every expansion...I use a PC...I can post photos if needed? I use a few core mods and a large amount of CC.
