And a question: is "marrying Anna" different from "marrying Hank"?

This wish is fine since the 2 wishes have different names in them.

Thank you both! And in the case of marrying... can my Sim move to the potential spouse's house? Is there a rule about moving?

I'm thinking about doing this challenge but Turoskel's score is a little intimidating, specially reading that it is a "partial score"!!!! Just curious, did you see what week you where on by the time you ended?

And a question: is "marrying Anna" different from "marrying Hank"?

Start of week 10 I think, so not too far from finishing when I messed up.

As far as I understood it there are no moving restrictions as none are mentioned, I moved a couple of sims out via marriage into their new spouses house.

Turoskel is correct, there is no moving restricitons.  Be careful though, you don't want to move into potential spouse's house that consist of non-elders (sims or pets), your challenge will end.

Thanks Nutella! Sorry, I honestly didn't mean to do any harm, I just think many people know more little details of the game that I haven't been aware of...

I also realized I could remove my post... So I did!

I am trying to push on to the finish, particularly as I want to have a go at the remaining challenges as they look awesome, but I am struggling.  The scores that have been posted already are quite intimidating, as they are so impressive.  How do you all  motivate yourselves to concentrate and sprint to the finish ?  Any ideas gratefully received :).

Junegem: I know for the fact you are not the only one stuggling, a challenge like this requires to handle loads of sims at the same time while juggling all the other parts for a good score. I myself am fighting to get this done in time, and i really hope more people will post some scores, because the board looks a bit empty now.

How i motivate myself? Hmmmm, if I am still having fun with the challenge i continue, try to plan enough time for it. And this one is really time consuming. But if its not fun anymore, i wont even try to play through the last half of the challenge, its always about having fun. Winning would just be a bonus.

I know how the longer challenges can be tough to finish sometimes.  The challenge team is looking to make some shorter Sims 3 challenges next year, to spice up the beginning of the year, until Sims 4 comes out. Due to some personal things I am dealing with, I won't have the time to be able to do this challenge. I am looking forward to the remaining challenges this year.

Oh, tell me about that!!! I had a great strategy planned, but I'm just too slow and any strategy I plan doesn't work for me, my elders seem more likely to die than to fulfill their lifetime wishes! I'm on week five and only like three of my Sims have finished their LTW, many more have died very close to getting their LTW. And it is frustrating, so I stop playing for a while, but then I think, on one hand it is just a game, it doesn't matter how well -or how bad- my score is; on the other hand I'm having so much fun and learning many thing of the game I didn't know and that's what makes it worth while.

Enjoy playing and happy Siming!

Tandrael — I am glad you are having fun. Yeah this Wishmasters is quite different than past ones with anyone in your household at any time having a good chance of kicking the bucket right before LTW are completed. I just started my file today and am in a rush. I was able to knock out at least 2 weeks of game time. We'll see how I do and how many tombstones I accumulate. Lol.

junegem - It shouldn't be too hard to beat my sad score! Just take your time and don't add people to your household that aren't elders. ;)

I enjoyed this challenge and hope more people post scores!

So far I have 13 wishes (sounds like the name of a movie) and 3 LTW.

Today one of my Sims was about to get his LTW and Grimm Reaper appeared, so he gave him something like a death flower and went back to life and at the beginning of his elder years; but he didn't have a death flower... I went and check and he had a special seed, I didn't know it was a death flower but Grimm Reaper did, so I guess it's game over for me.  :'(

Hi guys,  Thanks so much, for all the encouragement, support and advice.  It really helped me to push on to the end and all my elders to hobble to the finish with the aid of their walking canes !  Thanks to the boost your replies gave me, I managed to double the score I had accumulated up to my post.

My score is 8 lifetime wishes = 40 and 17 5k wishes, making a grand total of 57.

It's still not as good as others will manage, but at least it's a respectable score and hopefully it will give somebody else a boost.  So come on those of you still working on this, you are nearly there, and I know you can beat me!  Good luck to you all.

Finally finished a long hard work.

42 LTW and 87 for certain 5k+ wishes there may be more wishes, but I stopped keeping track of them after week 7 other than the skill wishes.

42 * 5=210 +87=297
