Wishmasters Final Wish: All Elders...All the Time

Goal
If you thought last year’s Final Wishmasters was indeed the last Wishmasters challenge, then you must not have been aware I posted it on opposite day. That’s right! Wishmasters is back like the McRib and it’s truly a race against time for your elders to complete as many big wishes as possible.

General Challenge Rules
The General Challenge Rules always apply. If applicable, exceptions will be noted below.

Specific Challenge Rules
  • Create one Elder Sim.
  • Any household additions must be Elder.
  • No resurrection.
  • No name changing.
  • No life extension methods allowed at all — life fruit, plastic surgery, tattoos, etc. No deathflowers or special seeds in inventory.
  • If you make the mistake to allow a pet to extend a Sim's life, then your file is done and submit your score.
  • Your household is restricted to 24 total days vacation/University. Any household member on vacation or in University counts as one day — i.e. 4 Sims on vacation for a 3-day vacation = 12 total days against your limit.
  • The challenge ends at Week 12, Day 7, 11:59 PM.

Scoring
The first component is the total of all completed different named regular wishes worth at least 5k points (5k + Wishes). As long as any part of the wish title is unique from other wishes, you can count it. Award yourself 1 point per regular unique 5k + wish completed.

The 2nd component is the total of unique Lifetime Wishes completed by your household. Keep in mind that no single Sim can complete more than one Lifetime Wish, so that's a big part of the strategy for this event. Award yourself 5 points per completed unique Lifetime Wish.

Add your 5k + Wishes and Lifetime Wishes together for your Total.

This Event is Now Closed

This looks like fun.  Question though, We are to create One Elder Sim.  Can that Sim have a spouse, roommate, etc. as long as they are also elder?

The Link for the Challenge Rules goes to a page that says the board no longer exists.  Could you provide a link to the most updated rules?

Thank you!

The rules should work. They are the ones stickied under the Challenges board.

You can only create one Sim in CAS.  That Sim can then move in anyone they want (spouse, friend, etc) as long as that person is in the Elder lifestage.

Feel like an idiot...I see the Babble Board and The Sims Challenges.. but can't see where it is stickied... sorry to be such a pain.

What I meant was that I fixed the link.   The Sims 3 Challenges board is where all of this is held so the rules are The Sims 3 Forum > The Sims 3 Challenges > 2013 Tournament Rules.

Does that help?

Yes it does and thank you Rica.  Did not realize you fixed the link and guess I just assumed Tournament Rules were different than Challenge Rules.  I'll get the hang of this yet!!

Are there any restrictions on the life states?

All life extending tricks are banned so if your Sim has an extended life span they will not be allowed.

I didn't read the lifestates as mathers for extending the life of the elders, but as a chance on those LTW's but I guess they are not allowed to be done then.

I can't speak for other lifestates, but I'm 97% sure that elderly vampires, fairies, and werewolves don't have an extended elder stage.

To my knowledge all life states at the elder stage is the same length (or range at least), so it should not make a difference. If someone has different information, then now is the time to speak up.

How about potions that age a person?  So if you had a friend you wanted to move in but they were not elder, could you use the instant age potion to make them elders and move them in?

Yep. I see no problem with that. You'd be following the rule of only elders being allowed in the house is the main thing.
