Owning a second resort, good idea or bad?

Hobart's is running smoothly and raking in the cash but is a bit boring now.  Is adding a second resort a good idea or would it be better to sell off Hobart's and then build a resort?  Input from those who have tried would be nice.

Go ahead and start a second resort.
I currently have four 5 star resorts and one I'm still working on that is just a 4 star and they are all running great and bringing good money. Between them I'm making about $40,000 a day.

My current sim owns two resorts, she started with Hobart's, got it up to 5 stars, made sure all settings and staff hours were in place the way I wanted, and now I just collect the cash each day, I never even check on the place. After completing her LTW of Resort Mogul she got   ownership of a private island, built a second resort there, and now just collects the money from that one too. She makes around $18,000 a day and never even goes to the resorts.

Having multiple resorts is a great idea. Once you build one up as far as you want to go with it and have it staffed, you never have to return. You can just move on to another project and collect your money each morning.

I'm currently running 2 resorts - Hobart's Hideaway and No Trouble Atoll. Between the two, I am getting about 31k/day. I could bump it up more if I did more to Hobart's (basically destroy the VIP room and stick some towers in the water).

I also vote for go ahead and do it.

OK!  Concensus is go for it so I will.  I saw a funny thing in a resort built by Neashaleigh.  She had a bonehilda in her resort for a maid!  Cracked me up.

I have two running right now, both five star, one brings me 19000 a day, the other just over 10000 (the 19000 has two "full" towers + a full spanish tower + 16 VIP rooms... don't miss out on building many VIP rooms, because it seems they REALLY rake in the cash...

Good tip!  I had decided against a lot of VIP rooms but it seems that's the way to go.  Thanks!
