no gigs for singer..?

I'm a Singer, and I'm in the new world from the Paradise expansion. I'm a level 5 singer, and I've performed for tips and done tons of sing-a-grams, but I have no options for gigs. There's no special markers on my map to even rehearse for one, it's just like there's nothing. Can anyone help?

This may be a dumb question, but have you placed any performance venues in Isla Paradiso?

err, no i haven't..? i don't honestly know what that means or how to do it lol

I assume you've been playing in Starlight Shores then, since the venues are already in place there. Performance venues are where your Sims perform their shows, like the Coffeehouse or Mick Master's Karaoke. They have to have stages.

Anyway, there are some pre-made ones in the bin where Community Lots are. Have you ever placed lots in Edit Town mode?

ohh, yeah actually i have haha, i didn't know i had to place new lots for the stuff to work. thanks a bunch for the info! i'm gonna do that now
