Lol. Somehow I don't think this is Alphonso's first rodeo. Funny chapter, Pippin.
Character-wise, Alfonso begins as having stolen a co-worker's wife and having an affair with her, so I suppose the "rodeo" status is implied.

But I don't approve of his chosen venue. Somehow I suspect he wasn't aware of Zheena's prowess.
Same room and everything.  How weird is that?

Yeah, she actually picked a surprisingly appropriate husband. My questions is--why does Abbica's tail look blue underwater, when her scales are pink on land?

Umm, I have no idea why Abbica's tail works that way.  I've actually done nothing with the coloring on it, so it's just however it naturally manifested.

Apparently it's normal. I have the same thing in my game, I've just discovered--my born mermaid with pink scales just aged up to Teen and has a blue tail. Maybe it just looks blue through the water? Didn't notice before as her mother has blue scales. In any case, it's disappointing. I wanted her to have a pink tail :(

Ghastly Hallows--Chapter 15: Discomfort
« Reply #109 on: August 23, 2013, 07:29:25 AM »
Having returned from her vacation abroad, Zheena went right to work teaching Cassidy to talk.

And Bart the babysitter simply stood back and admired the view.

Abbica found a different view to admire...in the mirror.

It was a short time after their arrival that Zheena felt a familiar discomfort.

As luck would have it, their all-in-one was broken, and to make matters worse, there was a creeper with a cell phone snapping shots of her...dealing with the discomfort, shall we say?

Abbica continues to be a world-class big sister,

and aspiring chemist.  Of course, the chemistry is specifically to help her mother.  After all, to complete that occult cluster,

she'll need an imaginary friend made real.

Young Brynhildr has discovered two new astral bodies and has named them "Hildy One" and "Hildy Two."
"Nice work, sis," commended Abbica.  "Now when some lame boy tries to tells you that your names are written in the stars, you can correct him and say that yours is, but his measly name is just roaming around down here in the dirt."

As has been her custom, Zheena tries to make sure each of her children spend some time with their biological fathers.

It seems that both Omar and Cassidy would have preferred that Zheena spend that bonding time with the young toddler instead.

So, when the desired bonding time wasn't happening, and one player foosball wasn't much fun, Omar decided to leave...even as Cassidy's "father" awoke from his nap and came out just in time to see Zheena suffer another bout of morning sickness...

assuming she wasn't using it as a way to avoid the discomfort of being between her husband and the man she'd been with behind his back.

Great update. All the girls are cute. It was good to see the children bonding with their repective fathers. And oh my, another nooboo in route. Alfonso will be delighted to see Zheena pregnant again(atleast he doesn't know they are somebody's chidren). :DLooking forward for next update.

Pippin, you are much nicer to your baby daddies than I am. After Aire had the babies, the dads weren't allowed to come back. Baby daddies are hard to work with, as Omar has illustrated today.

Yeah, Alfonso does a good job of being a daddy to those kids even though they look nothing like him  ;=)

It waws an accident at first.  She had invited Akoni over after Abbica was born and he naturally gravitated towards her, so I just thought that might be nice for each of the kids.  Omar, however, wanted nothing to do with Cassidy.  I even blatantly put her in front of him to see if he'd interact of his own freewill.  He didn't  :=(  It's okay, though, because Abbica dotes all over her baby siblings.

Poor Cassidy, her own father doesn't seem to care about her... :(
At least Alphonso is her stepfather or something, so she does have a father figure.

Yeah, Alfonso is definitely there for the girls and Djavon.  Of course, Abbica outdoes him in that role, but he is a consistent male figure in their lives.

Ghastly Hallows--Chapter 16: Visitors
« Reply #115 on: August 28, 2013, 07:48:41 AM »

While Alfonso was out having some private time with a female friend,

Zheena was having a guest of her own.

"Annalee!!  You're finally here!"  squealed a very excited Zheena.
"Zheena!  You look as lovely as the day you left Moonlight Falls," Annalee replied.

"And just look at your adorable baby!"
Zheena was delighted to see her friend, but it definitely caught her off guard to see that her best friend, who was a day younger than her, now appeared older.  Zheena had remained a young adult thanks to the help of her Watcher, but Annalee had become an adult, but she'd have to worry about that another time.  Right now, she was helping her friend get ready for her wedding.

In order to be proper, Annalee spent the night at Zheena's home,

while Zheena got Chauncey checked into a resort for the night.

Zheena even went so far as to make sure Chauncey felt comfortable in the room.

So not okay, but this is borderline nefarious.

I enjoy how casually you observed that.

So not okay, but this is borderline nefarious.
Borderline?  I think the premise of the challenge is rather scandalous in the first place.

Zheena and I take that as a compliment  :=)
