I'm sorry, but I'm not sure how much it was before depreciation
I've added a door from the bedroom to the dining area (forgot that one).
Changed the island counters in the dinning area to regular counters because items wouldn't face the right way.
As for cramped, I personally don't feel it while playing, but I can understand how with a large family it could be cramped. I play a single guy, and he putters around there just fine
Same house after my sim lived in it, and after renovations as he worked his way through to 5-star Chef. As mentioned before landscaping really helps, but on a starter it's not really a huge concern to me:
Edit: Also I moved to Lucky Palms so I made a slight modification to the existing trees and grassy flagstone used.
