Where Do The Fairies Go?

I was eating a fairy cake the other morn, when I thought I wonder if it's true that for every baby born, a fairy god mother is sworn.

Well now I have grown up, can I still speak to the fairies or am I just away with?

I seem to think I know they are there, but where have they gone?

I don't remember ever seeing one, what do they look like, are they pixies, elves or just plain sprite?

I have heard it's possible to see, but that is only by those who believe, or is it just for those inclined spiritually?

Well my fairy cake tasted just nice. Maybe the cake is blessed by fairies, hence their name, or maybe fairies are just another bed-time story again?

Biography: Penelope Silvano always loved the rain, especially since Bridgeport's weather seemed to default to that. It had a way of not burning her skin. Back in the city, Penelope carved out a niche for herself as a calculating, determined businesswoman who liked to hunt for plasma after-hours. But lately, she's been taking an unusual number of business trips around Simnation, maybe discussing a new merger, or trying out some new plasma. Whatever it is, she's out there to make a legacy for herself solely through her own work. It's not like she'd ever have children to do that instead.

Now that the poll has closed, I want to commend everyone who entered this contest - you came up with the most interesting collection of Sims I've ever seen, for sure.  Kudos to everyone for your adventurous use of sliders.  I think it would be fun to see a town populated with these Sims.  I wonder what the genetics would look like in a few generations?

And we have a winner!  Congratulations to Vinyl and his/her Sim, Sam McGee!  As someone who was raised in the Arctic reading Robert Service's poems, I have to say, when I first saw Sam, he made me smile!  I have no idea if he was named after Service's famous poem or not, but I just can't help picturing him sitting in his cozy little crematorium, happy because he's warm for the first time since he left his home in the South.   

If anyone wants feedback on your Sim, please say so in this thread.  As always, please give feedback only if it is requested, and keep all feedback positive and constructive.

Congrats to Vinyl for the win! Sam is one of those sims that you just have to love, someone who totally deserves to have something good happen to him.

@ chetan - I loved your use of color in Ranjan's outfits. It still blows me away what you can do using only base game clothing and patterns.

@ Audren - Olaf is just cute...in a goofy sort of way. I just love the backstory that you created for him, and now that I finally have University I'm absolutely going to download the guy.

@ Danielle - I know nothing about Adventure Time, but Marceline looks amazing. Her outfits certainly capture her playful, mischievous nature very well.

This was a fun contest, and a testament to just how varied sims can really be if you avoid the defaults. I think from now on every sim I create is going to have slider variance. It makes things far more interesting that way!

I too am open to comments and constructive criticisms.

Congratulations Vinyl ! When I first saw Sam , well I just wanted to give him a big hug and tell him , everything is ok now . You've done amazing work on your creation .

I would like to thank samoht04 for designing this awesome contest and for Schipperke to allow us to take part in it . It was great fun .

With this contest there were so many entries that only three votes just wasn't enough . Everyone deserved my vote . All entries were purely amazing . Great job everyone .

@ Raia Dracanis - I really love Kiyara the fairy's look . You've done a great job . Great screenshots as well .

@Danielle Yaydis -You've done a great job on Marceline the Vampire . I really like her eyes .

Danielle Haydis: How did you manage to make a vampire look cute?

This is the first time I've managed to notice the results of a contest being announced within a day  .  I thought voting finished on Thursday.  (Yes, I'm hopeless.)  I'm happy for feedback on dear Voldy.  (Like, why does a zero-sized nose still have an outline when seen full-face?     Actually, since I'm so hopelessly slow, can we just take that as a general 'I'm happy about feedback on anything' .)
