And simultaneously, every adult in the house suddenly had a million other things to do, leaving Jareth alone with the kids.

"Hey, where did Loki's toddler picture go?" Tia yelled.
"Nuada ate it!" Jareth called back. "Don't you have another?"
"Got one of him in the bath!" Gytha said. "Here"
Close enough. They were busy little guys...
learning all their skills, plotting revenge, demanding gourmet meals.
"I don't care if you are a King, Prince and God, it's Stu Surprise! Take it or leave it!" Jareth snapped.
"Technically, we're all kings," Thranduil pointed out.
"Nuada killed his father, and Loki is currently impersonating Odin..."
"It's still Stu Surprise, and the only king that counts around here is me," Jareth sulked.
"Go have a nap," Gytha told him. "I'll deal with the Royals here."
"Father was being unreasonable," Nuada pointed out. "I did try to talk to him first."
"It's still my birthright!" Loki yelled from the playpen. "And I'm still a god!"
"Legolas is going to pay for this," Thranduil muttered.
"Hey, look, it's birthday time again!" Tia said. "Come get your pictures done!"

"You all look so depressed," Mag told them.
"Do you blame us?" Nuada asked her. "Look at us!"
"Never mind that," Gytha said, "go drive the couch somewhere. Lots of kiddies don't even have a couch to drive! We've got to get ready for Erik's birthday."
And Erik turned into an Elder, right on schedule.
Ate his ambrosia...
And became the third immortal one more time.
