Built for bunso, based on a building request. Up here for anyone to download and use however you'd like. Please let me know if youd like to use it in a story or other project -- just because I'm curious!Bunso requested a large-sized, single-story family home with a sort of beachy feel. The house needed three bedrooms and two baths for a family with a teenage daughter and a baby daughter, who hope to form a band. Here's my take on that request, with all of bunso's wishes and plenty of room to grow, especially up into the attic.
There is a large living room, kitchen and breakfast nook in the main part of the house, plus a small room for quiet studying, and an entertainment room for family bonding. The living room has a number of frames waiting for family portraits or other adventures in photography. The screened in porch holds all of the family's musical equipment for band practice, and leads to the spacious outdoor patio with pool, hot tub, fire pit and grill. A formal dining room completes the entertainment areas. The nursery is decked out in pastel florals, the teen's room is full of bright colors and the master bedroom with en suite bathroom is decorated in neutrals. There is a two car garage with room for a workbench or other skilling equipment, and a door that leads to the laundry/mudroom.
Builder's note: While you can add stairs to expand to the attic, you will need to go through a frieze, so you'll have to place two staircases (one regular sized, and one short) just like when you try to go through a foundation to the basement. Spiral stairs will not work.
