So this is what happens. I take the aptitude test and enroll, and go off to college. I get the cut scene with music, and the game tells me to choose a place to stay for the term. I pick a place and "rent", and then I click the check mark. Nothing happens. The check mark turns grey and the game just kind of sits there. Forever. I can't even quit the game because there is no option to quit! So I am forced to alt+tab and use task manager to shut the game down. I've tried cleaning out the usual .PACKAGE files. Nothing works, though. I don't even use mods or anything, so that is not the problem. The game is just buggy. I don't know what's going on. I have looked up an answer for this problem all over the place, and only two solutions have I found. One, try editing the University lot attached to your town. Well, I did, and when I looked there were students all over the place. That's not supposed to happen when editing a lot, right? But they're everywhere. Frozen in place. Well, this didn't work. The second and only thing I have not tried is moving to another town. It may be my only option, but before I do, I am wondering if anyone knows a better way to fix this? Someone help? Maybe?
