A Color-ful Legacy-Chapter 42 A Universal Overview
« on: July 05, 2013, 10:26:56 PM »
Lilac:I'm Lilac Color. I'm a witch, and I was named after my favorite color. My watcher plopped me down here in Twinbrook because it's the only place my brother hasn't offended anyone. See, after my brother became a YA he traveled around the world making people in high places angry. I now have to redeem the bloodline with lots of babies, and lots of generations. Wait, that was it, right?

Watcher: Yes, but shouldn't you be starting with this morning?
Lilac: Oh, yeah! What happened this morning?
Watcher: *thinking* Where did I put that time machine?
Earlier that day...
Lilac: What time is it?
Amelie: 4:35 am Miss Color.

Lilac: Who are you, why are you in my room and where am I?
Amelie: I am Amelie, and you are in the sim-bin.
Lilac: What's the sim-bin?
Amelie: All you need to know will be explained later. We are going to see the watcher to get your assignment.

I went to look for some more clothes, but I guess there is a shortage of fashionable clothing. When I came out I saw this...
Amelie: Emma! What are you doing out of your game! The sim-bin is exclusively accessed by the person whom the watcher calls. Dear llamas she's going to be mad!

Emma: Sorry Amelie, but the watcher called me in to tell me something about Peter. And I was playing tag with Emily.

If that all wasn't weird enough, a man looking a lot like me came running out of one of the many doors to grab a small toddler, looking exactly like me. This watcher person has a lot of explaining to do.

Last but not least to prove my assumption that this couldn't get any weirder, a cute little girl came through a side-corrider and started talking about composting, and cooking.

Amelie: The watcher is ready for you.
Then she just ran into a office at the end of the hall.

I was ready to see this watcher person, and ask, no demand to know what in simnation was going on here. Emily, the strange little girl, and I filed into the room, and sat down.

I don't know what surprised me more: the fact that she was a child, or the fact that a child was enjoying herself in a room full of books.

Watcher: Hello Lilac, and Amelie. I have been expecting you, mostly because I called you here. Lilac, you're probably wondering why your reincarnations are here with you.
Now, most people would start screaming about what she meant but I am not most people. I sat there thinking while the watcher kept waiting for something on her computer.

Whatever the watcher was waiting for must have loaded because then-
Watcher: Amelie, give her the book that will explain her quest, where she is, and how everyone she saw is related to her.
Me Amelie proceeded to give me the book, which was gift-wrapped. It was a kind gesture.

I didn't know what to do; what's the protocol for when you're given the most important book ever, from the person who decides your fate?!
The watcher answered my question
Watcher: You and me aren't leaving to start until you read that book.
Then I started reading

And that's how I ended up here, to start a legacy, to redeem, and hope it lasts through the ages.

Watcher's Note: This is not an official legacy, just a fun legacy challenge I made to have fun.

Thanks! I think the sim-bin would look like a science facility, with bright white everywhere. I'm about 2 weeks ahead sims time, so I'm going to post an update in a little bit.

Yes, all the heirs will be named after a color, like Periwinkle blue.

I just really like colourful sims, whether the story-telling gives them a colourful personality, or physically colourful. :p

Nothing wrong with that at all! Good luck! :D

Sorry for de-railing your thread..

A Color-ful Legacy-Chapter 2 Love at First Sight
« Reply #8 on: July 06, 2013, 04:13:10 PM »
Hey everybody, it's Lilac again!
I left off with a hopeful message; after reading that book I learned a few things.
1. To clear the bloodline I must have 10 generations, each having 5 children, and the heir must have the lifetime wish of Surrounded by family.
2. I am the only person who can move for 10 generations
3. All the children must max a different skill, and have a boyfriend before moving.
Gosh, I don't know if I can help them complete all this  ;)
Watcher: You better help, sometimes teens like sticking to the woman! That's me!
Talk about irritating, anyway back to the present.

Lilac: So, what's first? Oh, can I get a job?
Watcher: No! From experience pregnancies and jobs don't mix well. Besides if your husband works, who's going to raise the children? Hm?
Lilac: Fine, but it's not like I wanted to anyways.
I still want a job but maybe I can find something called self-employment, rather than a rabbit hole. I mean seriously, who would want to work in a rabbit hole?
Watcher:  ??? I wonder if anyone is in Casa del Lilac sometimes.
After that the watcher directed me to a huge house on the left end of Twinbrook, where I met a nice, Gothic man, named Marc.
(Watcher's Note: Anyone else find it funny they're talking about marriage while they're both single?)

I spent a whole day talking to Marc, I really enjoy his company. Pretty soon it was dinner, and he invited me to stay the night!

Watcher: Go on! I saw the attraction message.
Lilac: Whaaaat? Fine, I'm going, I'm going.

I'll let the pictures tell the rest...

Anyone notice something different about Marc during the wedding?
Watcher: Aaaaahhhhhh!!!!!!
Lilac: What's wrong?
Watcher: Yellow, fey, supernatural!!!! They have super-long lives!
Lilac: Uh-oh
And I married a fairy, although the yellow looks good against all the black.
Lilac: Hey! Who turned out the lights? Watcher Lady! Don't pull your hair out!
Watcher: Why not?
Lilac: I'm a witch! I can use alchemy/magic, duh.
Watcher: I knew that.

Lilac: That was my first spell! Yeah!
Watcher: You're as humble as a princess.
Lilac: Why thank you, your majesty!

The Next Morning...

I'm so happy the watcher bought me an alchemy station! In game Amelie has already maxed out alchemy at week 2. I didn't know being a witch gave that much of a boost.
The watcher also bought me a broom! I look good zooming around faster than a car!

There's only one thing that worries me, or two.

A Color-ful Legacy-Chapter 3 All the Love In the World
« Reply #12 on: August 11, 2013, 12:31:19 PM »
After almost a month the Colors are back! Technical difficulties are fixed, enjoy!
Marc: Good morning sweety.
Lilac: Good morning honey.
Anyone else find it funny how they're both cooking?

Lilac: I've been practicing my magic, let me try a good luck charm on you!
Marc: Ar-are-are you sure this is a good idea?
Watcher: Hehehe

Marc: I'm alive! I mean, uh, let's celebrate...
Lilac: My lifetime wish is to be Surrounded by Family.
Marc: My LTW is whatever you want.

Watcher: Lilac, why are you up? It's 3 a.m.

Lilac: Aw, nooboo!
Watcher: You really should buy some new clothes though...
Lilac: You're in charge of that!

Watcher: I hope this doesn't affect your pregnancy. What are you making anyway?
Lilac: Ugh... I meant to make a potion but instead I think I made poisonous gas.

Lilac: Marc! Someone needs to do laundry!
Watcher: If pregnancy makes sims go insane then I need to rethink my plan...

Watcher: Was that really necessary?
Lilac: I need to practice my magic, how else would I get experience?
Watcher: Her family is right there-

Lilac: Oooowww! Watcher!
Watcher: Just go into the bedroom and breathe.
Lilac: What about Marc?
Watcher: Sim men are useless for this, trust me.
Lilac: Not Marc, he read the books too.

One minute later...
Marc: AAAhhhhh!
Lilac: Not helping!

Marc: Wait you read the books, right?
Lilac: Yes, why? What does this have to do with anything?!
Marc: You'll be fine.

Lilac: Awww!
Marc: Their so cute!
Watcher: I knew that LTR would come in handy!

Lilac: What are we going to name them?
Watcher: Celeste, and Iris.

Marc: Hey babies, I'm your daddy.

Welcome to the world Celeste and Iris
