How to put up pets for neighbourhood adoption?

Hi, I know how you can give pets away to the animal shelter, but I can't find an option to put them up for neighbourhood adoption. You know, when you select "Check neighbourhood for pets to adopt" on the computer. Is this even possible?

That is not possible for active households.  That is only available to houses within the neighborhood for you to adopt not the other way around.
