The new baby is called Lacie and Lonie is currently the narrator. Could you point out where you've been getting confused? Are you translating the story? I've read the story through since Lonie was born (Chapter 28 or something like that) and I can't find any mistakes with her name. However, I think naming the new baby Lacie won't really help any confusion!

She definitely brightens my day when I see her! I took more than eighty screenshots of her as a toddler, I think! I had to get rid of a load, though because you might get bored with four chapters + of toddler pictures!

Thanks! I was planning to post Chapter 44 today but I didn't get round to it. I'll try and get it up by Tuesday, but I won't make any promises.

Chapter 44 - Cutie Pie!

Lacie is simply the cutest little girl ever, you really can't deny. Even the oldies say it, with the exception of Heidi who claims we were all equal (What was that woman thinking?). If you aren't convinced, just look at this!



Just look at that little face! Even when she is upset, she still looks like an angel.



Well, sort of. She is really quite loud in the morning, so loud that Maxwell and I can hear her from our room downstairs without a baby monitor! She certainly knows how to grab attention.

We haven't started her toddler training yet. Children need to be spoiled first, surely? Besides, she's happy, I'm happy, Max's happy, everyone's as cheerful as can be.

We attempted to teach her some table manners, like eating with her mouth closed and using a knife and fork. We did alright...



...Okay, we completely failed. But she's still cute, using her little fingers to shove the food in her little mouth!

She seems like quite a fearless baby. Heights don't seem to faze her. In fact, they seem to make her smile even more!



Everyone loves to fuss over her. Some days, I don't have to do anything to Lacie because the rest of the family beats me to it! Grandma Alecia generally wakes up first so, even though I'm awake when she starts screaming, I can stay within the comfort of my cosy warm bed.



Once Lacie is fed, she is put in her swing while we eat. Grandma Alecia entertains her while pulling the face that scared me for life when I was her age.



In the evenings, it is often Grandma Heidi who puts her down. It's amazing to see the change in our genetics that has occurred since Heidi moved here all those years ago.



One night, we took a picture of her standing up on her own in her crib.



She fell over just moments later and fell straight asleep.



Lacie truly is my little angel. I can't wait to see what kind of person she grows into but we've still got a long way to go!

I'm not having too much trouble with queuing simply because I'm constantly giving everyone something to do. If she was in the swing a lot, there would definitely be a line!

Although it's now the summer holidays, I won't be updating this story until Sunday at the earliest because I'm currently on holiday without my laptop. I want to try to finish this dynasty before The Sims 4 is released, but I doubt I will do it. The race is on!

Sorry it has been a while since the last update. As I said in my last post. I was away from 19th July until 26th and was busy on 27th and 28th. I'm fee this evening though so here is another cute update starring Lacie Jewel!

Chapter 45 - A Day in the Life

Each and every day, Lacie continues to make the whole family smile. She is (Almost) always cheerful and her happiness is highly contagious. I don't see her much since I am constantly busy with work so the rest of the family is on entertainment duty. Here is a day in the life of a baby Jewel.

The day starts with a round of personal hygiene issues. This includes a few minutes of nose picking.



Lovely.

Maxwell and Alecia are sharing cot duties at the moment. When her daddy gets her up, he is greeted with the first smile of the day.



After a spot of breakfast, Grandma Heidi takes her to the most important room in the house...



...It's POTTY TIME! She's actually doing rather well with her training. She learned to control her bladder within days of aging up!

Before the day can continue, Henry completes her ice sculpture and portrait for her gallery. Of course, this isn't an everyday affair but I thought I'd throw that in there.





Once she has finished posing, Lacie continues her toddler training. Her walking "lessons" are taken by Grandma Heidi. In some ways I am very jealous that she got that job. Lacie is so cute when she is toddling around!



Next it is time for her speech lessons. Mum teaches her this. Teaching toddlers to talk takes a lot of patience, she says. Apparently it is very stressful with all the mispronunciations and unwillingness to learn. However, she got there in the end and Lacie's first proper word was bottle. *Sigh*



In the evenings, I sometimes take her out with me. I took her to the library a few days ago and we found potential spouse number 1!



I can't remember his name, but he seems to have decent genetics.

After a long day of being a baby, it is time for bed.



She's quite strong. I bet she will be a great athlete when she grows up...
