So I'm really confused. I literally just registered for this forum and I clicked on "The Jewel Immortal Dynasty" and I have no idea what it is. Is it like a story or something? I need help finding my way around this forum! I'm so confused!

Welcome to the forum SuperSimmer! As butterfly said, this is a challenge that many people on this forum do. I decided to write a story to go along with it so people can keep track of what's going on in my game. The challenge is unique to this forum and is really fun to play.

Thanks! Actually, there are five more sims to immortalise. Lonie isn't far off in game, though, and she's only just an adult!

Thanks for all your comments. Out of the three immortals I've got so far, Patricia was the second easiest, after Heidi (Believe it or not). Just so you all know, today is the first anniversary of the first chapter of this story! I'm hoping that I will complete the second half of this story quicker than the first, but who knows? Anyway, happy birthday Jewels!

Chapter 42 - Introducing Moi

Hello people of the internet (Yes, I know what the 'net is)! As you should know by now, my name is Lonie Jewel and I am the fourth generation of the Jewel Immortal Dynasty. My mum, Patricia, became immortal a couple of weeks ago which means I am now the star of this tale until further notice.

A few days before mum became immortal, I married the man of my dreams; Maxwell Hammer! He's a lovely guy to be around and even like writing just like me! Unfortunately, he must prepare to do museum pieces, although we do have backups.

We spent the first few weeks after Mum's success practising our crafts. Grandma Alecia has been practising her painting to pass the time. She's getting pretty good, although she paints some controversial pictures...



Indiana Jones or Mary Poppins? I just can't decide. Therefore, I insisted that she named the painting "Indiana Poppins".

When I reached level two of my career, I decided that I should get to work on something just as important as my requirements.



"I've been thinking about my requirements lately," I said to Maxwell. "I can climb the career ladder quickly if I work hard and I've almost maxed writing already. I've done four opportunities and everything is on track and ahead of schedule. The only thing that I haven't even started on is generation five-"

"-That's a great idea!" Of course he had to butt in. We got straight to work and soon the news was in.



I couldn't wait to tell everyone the news, they would all be so excited.

Maxwell seemed very impressed at the prospect of being a daddy!



I didn't even need to tell Grandma Heidi; She was eavesdropping as I told everyone and decided to celebrate mid-Jam Session!



Over the next few days, I continued to work on my career and skills.



Rummaging in bins is a good way to write articles. I made a few enemies during pregnancy, but it was all worth it in the end! I work some pretty successful pieces to keep me going once I go back to work.

I became really quite large, as demonstrated here by Mum.



I looked like a whale, and not in a good way!

Just a few hours after Mum was enjoying her soon-to-be-born grandchild, the pains hit me...



...And that's all for today! Yes, I know it's cruel to leave you hanging but it's way more fun on my end. I will leave you with this beautiful picture of me in pain and Grandma Alecia going ballistic. Bye!

P.S. The shot of pregnant Lonie rummaging for an article was very hilarious and looks little weird as I have never seen a pregnant rummaging a trash bin.

The baby is very cute! The rummage in bin interaction is hilarious anyway, pregnant sim or not!

Chapter 43 - A New Arrival

Hello again! Last time we spoke, I left you with a wonderful picture of myself in excruciating pain. So, we will start with another picture of that, just to remind you what I look like when I am in labour.



As you can see, I was by far the calmest in the room. Seriously, it's not like Heidi has never seen one of her descendants give birth before.

Eventually, Maxwell decided that I needed to go to the hospital. We chose the fastest car we have and I drove him to the hospital.



I was the one giving birth! Why was he expecting me to drive during that? He should try driving whilst being  moments from becoming a mother!

Luckily, we made it to the hospital in one piece and just a few minutes after arriving, I gave birth to a gorgeous baby...



...Girl! Ladies and gentlemen, meet the fifth generation of the Jewel Immortal Dynasty, Lacie Jewel! She Loves the Outdoors and is very Athletic. We immediately built her a nursery in the room above Maxwell and I's. The room is covered in yellow flowers.





Lacie was a perfect baby in every way. She rarely cried and spent most of her time just being adored by everyone. I mean, who can resist such a cute little girl?





Her baby years flew by and soon it was time for her toddler birthday. Grandma Alecia carried her to her first birthday cake and helped her with the candles.



She was engulfed in a storm of sparkles and grew up to be an adorable little girl. She got my hair colour, Maxwell's skin tone and my lips! She also still has Grandma Heidi's blue eyes! The Jewel Genes certainly do not want to disappear!



Well, that's all the latest gossip in our household. I am so overjoyed to be a mother at last! Lacie is such a beautiful little girl. I am certain her future is bright!
