I am sad that Dante isn't alive but his grave is in the garden with the others so he can join in if he wants. I don't think he shows up at the wedding but I could be wrong.

You'll be disappointed to hear there won't be a nooboo for a while. I'm a good four weeks ahead in game at least and the nooboo is only just a child. The fifth generation is cute though!

Chapter 40 - Dreaming of a White Wedding

Before we cut to the chase, I celebrated my elder birthday just in time for Lonie's big day.



So your back DOES hurt the moment you become an old person! It really kills!



A quick trip to the mirror and dresser finalised my style for eternity.



Lonie's wedding was planned for the evening. At about 3 o'clock, the snow was coming down thick and fast. Sunset Valley looked glorious and the wedding looked perfect.

Lonie and Maxwell stood proudly under the arch. Lonie looked a tad chilly but still beautiful in the winter sunset.



As the happy couple exchanged rings, Lonie did the inevitable doopy bride face.



A kiss to finalise the vowels and make it official...



...It's official! Lonie and Maxwell Jewel went over to supposedly cut the cake together. It turned out more like Lonie cutting the cake while Maxwell looked a bit distant.



After the ceremony, Maxwell got a makeover. Did he really think he could get away with his current attire?





Smart casual is definitely the way to go in the Jewel house!

Speaking of which, I seem to have lost at least two in game weeks of screenshots. In fact, I'm not even sure if I took any. After the next chapter, I will post another chapter that's just text. There won't be much that needs screenshots anyway, but I feel the story would feel weird if I skipped most of Lonie's Young Adulthood.

Chapter 41 - A Winter Wonder

Snowflake Day is upon us much more and the day turned out to be one of our most successful parties yet. We invited only our closest friends and potential friends for myself, so I finished off my best friend requirement. We all got lovely gifts. Lonie was kind enough to buy me a beautiful painting to go on the wall.



Mum's a bit weird when it comes to opening gifts. She never seems to look at the gift sh's opening, instead looking away with an odd face.



Henry seemed to practically shove his face in the box when he opening his present of another art easel. At least we will always have spares!



After the festivities were over, I counted up my friends. I had six. I checked with Charlie that my gallery was done. It was. Gardening supermaxed? Check. Level 10 Gardening career? That was done ages ago. I called the opportunities agency. Those were done months ago.

All that was left to do was to go down those stairs.

Heidi prepared three dishes of an odd delicacy and laid them out on the table.



Mum showed me to the seat in between her and Heidi.

I took a bit of the food in front of me. I choked; it was a taste unlike anything I'd ever eaten before. But it was the best thing I had ever tasted.
