Hooray for Alecia! Congratulations!
So, it’s only third generation and the rest. Good luck, Jewel!

Thanks for all the kind comments. I've played this family about a week and a half ahead of the story and I'm currently having fun decorating the house with the free Christmas decorations from the store and some Seasons content. There may be an update tomorrow but I'm afraid it is unlikely the snowflake day chapter will be up for Christmas. I'll be playing it on Christmas though (Or Christmas Eve or Boxing Day). Patricia is doing excellently and have completed her LTW, two out of the three skill challenges and is on level eight of her career, all three days before she ages to adult. Lets just hope all goes well technically!

Chapter 28 - Patricia plus one

Hello people of the globe! You can't have forgotten me already. Just a reminder. My name is Patricia Jewel, I am a gardener, blah blah blah, and I am the third immortal-to-be of the Jewel family. Since my wedding, you haven't heard anything about me apart from the fact that I am pregnant with my first (And final) child.

The pregnancy went pretty well, I think.

I spent most of my time engrossed in books to prepare me for what was to come. To be honest, they were all pretty dull and all contained information that I already knew after talking to Mum and Grandma Heidi. Because Henry was busy for the whole time, I got plenty of attention from the girls in the house. Grandma seemed ecstatic about the impending arrival. and spent hours fussing over the baby.

If you could only understand someone by their facial expressions, you would think she had never seen a baby before!

On the day the baby was due, Dad took a picture of me so I could see how big I was.

I must have been carrying one elephant of a baby!

I relaxed in my room for a few hours until I went into labour. It wasn't that bad.

Really! I was just... posing! I needed to remember the moment. Henry got worried about me so he took me to the hospital. Or rather, I drove him so he could pretend to be a good husband and father.

A few hours later, I gave birth to a baby girl. It was late an we were all quite tired.

Meet the fouth Noble Jewel, Lonie Jewel.

She is artistic and she hates the outdoors. How is she even my child?

She spent the rest of her baby days being pampered by her grandparents. How could they resist my little bundle of joy?

The poor thing must have been scared for life before her first birthday!

Charlie is getting old and is unlikely to live until she starts school so he treasures every moment he gets with her.

Grandad Dante is also pretty old and between them, it's hard for anyone to get cuddle time with Lonie.

Despite Lonie not being a fan of the outdoors, I still took her for a walk on the evening before her toddler birthday. It meant she could get away from the madness that is our life.

I took her to the cake so I could treasure the moment.

Moments later, she was an adorable and possibly mischievous little girl ready to start conquering the world,

I dressed her up in some adorable clothes in her favourite colour Irish Green.

From that moment on, I knew that I was in heaven. My life was going to plan. I had a wonderful husband, a gorgeous daughter and a wonderful life. My life is perfect.

I love her easygoing attitude when narrating this story and she pretty honest about herself! That's really weird for what happened in my game too, mostly the husband just sit down and the wife drove the car. W-E-I-R-D ! Or they were just a plain lazy, lol.

Also a warm welcome to Lonie! :)

She kind of has the Chris lips but I haven't noticed any other Steel looks as far as I can see.  :(

Thanks! The humour in this story comes much more naturally than in my other one.

I find it hilarious when the mother drives to the hospital with her husband as the passenger. There may be an update today.

Chapter 29 - Heaven's Gift

The past few days have been some of the greatest so far in my life. Lonie is such a precious little thing and I love her more than anything. She can't hide from the camera as we are trying to take so many photos, bless her! She raced through her toddler training and was soon a mini adult.

Mum taught her to walk. She hasn't got used to the idea of having to do absolutely nothing yet, apart from possibly catch the odd deathfish if necessary.

Since I was so busy gardening, Henry took over potty training. Luckily, it's always Charlie who cleans the potty out.

Henry also did talking. She can talk as well as most adults, but she's very shy and prefers to just read out-loud.

She's a little bookworm. For snowflake day, I made sure to buy her some Jimmy Sprocket books. But, shh, she doesn't know yet.

A few days ago, we tried her on solids. She'll have to outgrow the bottle at some point.

But that can wait a bit longer.

Despite her obsession with books, she's still a typical toddler. When she first learned to walk she had to be supervised or put in the swing, just in case. Often, that wouldn't have been her preferred option.

Her screams can carry through the whole of town, I swear!

However, she's a good girl usually and loves to play all day long.

I think Henry's more frightened by the claw than Lonie!

Sometimes, we take her out to the town for a day out. Here we are after seeing "The Bonkers Bunnies Bounce Back" in 3D.

Longest 90 minutes of my life. But hey, she was happy enough.

Grandma Heidi occasionally babysits while we all work for a while. Apparently, she's very good at picking out books.

Of course, at the end of a long day out, it's nice to be gently swung to sleep in the evenings.

I've reached a stage where there is nothing much to do. I've resorted to taking hundreds of pictures of Lonie as there is no skilling to do (Apart from Patricia tending to her garden every morning, and even she's finished by 9am!). I really need a birthday or a visit from Grim!

I just love the angle that you captured. She looks so adorable and sweet. Well, everyone good and kind to her, so it glad for me to know. Haha, I never go to theatre with my toddler Sims. I never thought if that was possible, I realized that's possible when looking at your post. It’s a nice touch after a long and tiring day!

She was so cute aging to child, it was unbelievable. She's still adorable and I have a special chapter planned, but I've decided to set up a computer rota meaning I can't play sims on Mondays, Wednesdays or Saturdays.  :(  Last time I try to make my brother happy.

I took a toddler to the theatre in a different game and thought it would be a good way to pass time.

Lonie is just prefect! I didn't know toddlers can throw their food on the floor, mine never do.

She is! She is so easy and I can't wait to play her everyday. Toddlers throw their food if they aren't that hungry. If they ever do, just give them a bottle to satisfy hunger.

Just a word of warning: Never do the "Make up with a kiss" interaction unless you want your married sims to become romantic interests again. Patricia and Henry need to get remarried. So, I will skip all of that when I do the update so hopefully everything will work out.

How have I missed reading this for so long?! I know I started it awhile ago, but somehow lost track of it. Well, bookmarking it now that I've got caught up. Lonie is adorable; great to see those baby blues and the kissy lips still going strong (as far as I can tell!). I love the picture of her grandmother staring down at her, from Lonie's perspective. Frightening, indeed!
