You're right, it does look beautiful. I've even thought of a nickname for her: Pattie. Can't wait for more toddler cuteness!
Personally, I think Tricia or Trisha would suit her better. I doubt I'll give her any nicknames though, I prefer just leaving their normal names.

Happy nuptials to Alecia! Patricia is so cute and I think she'll look exactly like Dante.
If you look at Alecia's toddler picture and then at Patricia, you'll be surprised at how similar they are!

Apart from the skin tone and possibly the nose, Patricia appears to be identical to Alecia. Patricia has the Chris lips! ;D

Thanks to everyone who reads and comments on this story, it really encourages me to keep going and reach the next immortal. If any one has ideas about my naming theme, I'd love to know them. You may need to look up a bit about the name...

I looked up the name meanings, and I'd like to submit the following names:

Aaricia
Ailbhe
Adalgisa
Akela
Lindsay
The Hideous Immortal Dynasty

I think those pictures gave me heartburn.

I've already lined up my names, so I guess I didn't phrase it correctly. However, all five names match up to my theme. All the names of the heirs mean "Noble". Basically, the names of all the immortals mean "Noble Jewel". Well done Gwendy!

Whoops! Sorry about that. I didn't mean to get it backwards.  ::)

Quick question, though: Whatever happened to Charlie? He was a good character. I miss him.

Charlie has to complete the ice sculpting challenge before Chris dies so he spends his time at the sculpting station. I'll aim to get a bit of him in chapter 17, since chapter 16 is already screenshotted.

Chapter 16- Mourning

As you may have heard in SimNation Daily, Miss Agnes Crumplebottom died recently, aged 95.

Grim sneaked up behind her while she was painting Patricia's Toddler portrait. At the time, I was out fishing and received an urgent call from Mum demanding I come home at once. I arrived just in time to see her pleading Grim. She served well and refused to leave us.

Despite her sobs and begs, Grim wouldn't take no for an answer and left with her. Rest in peace, Agnes, you were a treasure beyond man's wildest dreams. We bought some plants and found some wild flowers to decorate her grave with. It would be what she wanted.

I took Patricia to bed that night. She would have no memories of our family's saviour, which may have been for the better.

She wouldn't have to suffer like the rest of us, she's too young. We were all heartbroken and I couldn't help but weep in front of my daughter who couldn't understand our pain yet.

The whole family mourned for days. Mum was ever so secluded and isolated. Agnes wasn't like our family, she is our family. Charlie battled through the pain by sculpting, and Dad spent his time trying to remove Mum from her shell. She clearly hadn't thought through the pain of immortality. All eight immortals would have to suffer this pain over and over again for hundreds of years.

Dante and I, on the other hand, weren't embarrassed by our emotions. We would cry together and mourn together.

Some time later, we all started to come to terms with the death. Mum came out of her room to help with Patricia once in awhile and Patricia became the life and soul of the household. Everyone wanted to play with her, but we had work to do. Her Grandma did some potty training.

Yes, she is using my old potty from when I was a baby. She seems quite keen to get onto the freezing cold ice seat (I can confirm that it is very cold to clean and use). Mum started the walking, but she didn't get very far before she got bored and gave up.

Patricia just spent her time looking up to everyone she met adorably. Dante did pretty much everything else and managed to get some painting time in as well!

I thought we needed a family day out, so I bought Dante and Patricia down to the beach with me when I went fishing. Dante used the time to get the toddler skills done.

She finally got on her own two feet down at the beach and even said her first word!

Plaster! Unfortunately, she is going to be a gardener when she grows up, not a nurse. Daddy pushed her stroller from the car to the house.

I know, not very exciting but very cute. But not quite as cute as this picture I took down at the beach.

Say cheese! Back home, the talking wasn't going quite so well...

What a cute pouty face!

On the other hand, she's not alway quite as darling as you may think. She does have those odd "I'm Hungry" moments.

When this girl cries, she screams. She's so spoilt in her luxury nursery with five adults waiting on her 24/7! She's practically royalty (Who eats with her fingers)

And just a quick shot of her in the swing to finish off!

Hopefully, Chris can make it to Patricia's child birthday. Fingers crossed!

Great update. RIP Agnes, we will miss you. You were a valuable person of the family. Patricia looks more cuty, and eating on her own hands:). Looking forward for next update.

Thanks Namaya! I've always been pretty much top of the class in English and story writing is my favourite. I find it quite easy once I've started, the hardest part for me is the titles!

Chapter 17- A New Friend

My baby Patricia is growing up fast and I've been so focussed on my fishing we haven't really had much time to bond. Just before bed and early in the morning, we play and have a little mother to daughter chat.

She clearly isn't too sure about heights yet, we'll come back to you on that soon!

However, the Tickle Monster is a firm favourite in our house!

The claw kind of scares her at first, but that's before she remembers that it is just the Tickle Monster attacking once again.

Despite being so small, she is very interesting to listen to.

"Mama, I like trees and flowers and water and outside and..." She likes a lot of things to do with the great outdoors, just like her mummy!

Agnes made her first appearance two days before Patricia's birthday. She's still very sociable even though she doesn't talk at night.

She now watches Halls of History instead of whatever everyone else wants to watch. I think she quite enjoys belonging to the undead!

Like his adoptive mother, Charlie has recently been feeling quite lonely. He's single forever and he just has to sculpt day and night. To lift his spirits, he adopted a little boy.

Meet Henry, the possible future spouse of Patricia. I hope he doesn't break Patricia's heart like Charlie did mine. I still feel sudden bursts of anger towards Charlie.

Henry is Artistic and Clumsy. I can't remember his other trait. She got straight to work on his painting. He will be the museum artist when Dante passes on, hopefully many years from now.

In other news, I finally completed my Lifetime Wish (And kind of completed Dad's at the same time)! Here's a picture of me stretching in front of my collection of perfect fish.

There was (In no particular order) Goldie the Goldfish, Trevor the Toad, Minnie the Minnow, Clown the Tragic Clownfish, Red the Red Herring, Cat the Alley Catfish, Siam the Siamese Catfish, Jellie the Jellyfish, Rainbow the Rainbow Trout, Tina the Tuna, Piranha the Piranha, Salm the Salmon and Sally the Luminous Salamander.

Charlie's Adult birthday came later that evening.

He appeared to think very carefully about his wish, but I think he just though "Get me out of this dump". The sparkles came as quite a shock for him, despite doing this whole birthday thing countless times.

He's still just as handsome as he has always been, even though he is like really old now! After the party, Dante put Patricia to bed for the last time. The next day she would be putting herself onto that mattress and getting herself dinner.

The house had a vibrant buzz in the morning. We would be setting off for France on Friday for a family holiday. Patricia looked cute as ever at the cake with daddy.

Smile for the camera! She did the candles all by herself, bless her! She really is growing up so fast. One last toddler picture...

...Cross eyes included...

And we have our big girl at last!

Next stop: Champs Les Sims!

Chapter 17 will be the last chapter until at least Monday. We've got friends coming for the weekend and I'm not allowed my laptop out (Young children + juice + laptop = Unhappy bubbles). So far, I've had no problems in France. I'm touching a lot of wood, just incase. Hope you are enjoying my story!
